Not bad for Chinese in Lafayette Louisiana and every order is cooked drab to order this is authentic Chinese food and very quick if your in a hurry.

As far as Chinese takeout goes, this place is it. If you’re also on a diet, and looking for a very tasty and calorie controlled meal, this is also the place for that.
Today, I ordered their steamed veggies and chicken. They offer brown rice to go with that. Also, the garlic sauce was on the side.
What I received was a packed to-​go container full of fresh, colorful veggies and perfectly cooked chicken. Everything tasted great. The garlic sauce has much less sodium than most chinese food I’ve had. I ended up paying ~$ 8 for a packed plate with a side of rice. It was definitely more than what I can eat for a lunch sitting, but eating half added up to ~550 calories including the sauce and a coke I decided to get. If you’re like me, and it’s a workout day that you know you need a little extra energy, this is a great plate to buy on the go if you don’t have your own lunch.
The establishment is clean and the people are friendly. I would recommend anyone to eat here.

This was previously my go to «quick Asian meal in Lafayette» establishment when the same couple was running the place for years. Unfortunately, it appears that new people may have taken over (or possibly just for the time of my last visit) and I was not as pleased.
I’m not going to say that this place is bad but it has definitely been much better. I hope to see the original employees back and I hope it was just a temporary stay away.

I tried this place last night after reading the mostly positive reviews here. I agree with the other 4 star reviews that made me want to try them: fresh-​tasting ingredients, large portion sizes, good prices and like Leslie mentioned, spill-​proof (and reusable) take-​out containers to keep the food safe and piping hot for the trip home. I don’t eat a lot of Chinese food, but when I do get a craving for it, I’ll certainly be returning here.

I really wanted to like Panda House more than I did. Unfortunately, the fried rice was undercooked and chewy, and it was yellow rice, which was weird (and I’m not talking about the color you get front the soy sauce in the rice). My garlic beef was mostly vegetables, which I find annoying when the menu doesn’t even state there are vegetables in it. However, it did have very good flavor. I ordered egg drop soup, and the fried noodles that accompanied the soup were so stale I could not even chew them, even after they sat in the soup for a while. The whole meal was a big disappointment.

Eaten here a few times and you always get what you pay for and then some. They have good size portions even when ordering seafood dishes. Not like some places where you get two shrimp and something else that used to live in the ocean. Here you get decent food fast but it’s not really fastfood. It’s good chinese takeout or eat in. There are also low fat items for those who watch it during the week.

This place is brand new. Tucked inside a small strip mall; its basically a to go order place however there are a few chairs if you want to order in. Prices are reasonable again I call these kinds of places «Chinese junk food» But this place has REALLY fresh cooked to order food; its nicely presented not overly (saucy) and if you order to go they give it to you in really nice almost Tupperware quality containers, not just Styrofoam, Which personally I like because Styrofoam containers can easily pop open in transit. ICKY!
