Both my sons are weak in some fine and gross motor skill areas, and PMP is an outstanding support for them. The staff is knowledgeable, positive, and easy to work with. The classes are just the right blend of challenging and nurturing for the kids. This class has been much more help to our boys than other gym-type classes, and much more affordable than private OT. I highly recommend this business for any child who can use a boost in their skills. They will love the class and improve these critical skills they need for school and life.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Oakland, CA
I highly recommend this place for kids who need a little extra help with their gross and fine motor skills, especially in preparation for elementary school. A doctor who evaluated my 4 ½ year old son said that he was«too good» to qualify for services with an occupational or physical therapist. However, he also said that he was below average for his age, and needed to work a little harder to catch up. PMP is a great boost for those kids who need that extra support to strengthen their muscles and coordination, but in a fun class format. Their classes are divided by skill level, which roughly maps out to age, with a teacher — student ratio of no more than 3:1. The class generally starts with a big swing, then moves on to a gross motor skill exercise(such as balancing, catching & throwing balls). Kids eventually move into a room with tables where they work on pincer grasp games and handwriting. Specific exercises change every week to make things fresh and interesting for the kids. My son has only been at the program for ~4 months now, and I have already noticed significant improvement. The teachers are energetic and fun. The owner Ross is super helpful and passionate about helping the kids, and in my opinion really seems to make sure that your child is getting the best support from PMP.
