There’s only one word to describe Kylie – brilliant! I’ve been to so many stylists, none of whom have been able to give me the color I wanted. Kylie listened and nailed it with a gorgeous brown/​red/​copper. If you’re looking for a top notch colorist and stylist, I highly recommend her! I travel from Sacramento to Lafayette to see her and it’s worth the drive. I’ve never been happier with my hair!

Very disappointed. Daughter bought me a Groupon for my 60^th birthday. Stylist suggested an up charge of $ 40 to do a mini color for roots and sides and then highlight included in the Groupon with cut and style. I agreed, I wanted a change. After cut and style I thought very minimal highlights were applied did not really see them. I did not wash my hair for 3 days as suggested by friend and today when I first washed and styled my hair the highlights were again very minimal. Really could not see a difference. I am very sad that my $ 67 Groupon, $ 40 mini color and $ 22 tip was not worth it and we all know we work hard for our money.

I had long dark, dark brown hair. I wanted to spice things up and get highlights or a balayage and a cut. I was super scared with my hair being so dark that it would come out crazy and overly blonde. Well, Jessica R. Reassured me and explained the process, the pro’s and con’s. My hair came out great, actually more like amazing. My hair now has volume, body, dimension, and carmel tones evenly sprinkled throughout. We ended up doing the balayage so the dye didn’t go straight to the root, so I have some wiggle room until my next appointment with her. She is a perfectionist and when you’re dealing with dye and dark hair such as mine — that’s what I wanted. So she took her time and we super polite. Offered me something to drink, which I read on other Unilocal reviews for this salon, some didn’t do. Long story short, see Jessica R. She knows her stuff and does exceptional work. I’ll be back to do a quick touch up before vegas.

Lauren was absolutely fabulous. She did a great job with my haircut and gave me great tips on how to upkeep them and how to style them myself. She was very professional and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend her!

I got my hair cut by Lauren Palacios yesterday after getting a terrible great clips cut. She turned my super embarrassing cut into a fabulously cute style that I can now wear proudly!!! She also gave great tips on how to do my hair at home! I highly recommend this salon, the atmosphere is great! Not too stuffy, super cool and very skilled stylists!

I really want to give a good review but I am having a difficult time because I really don’t care for how my hair turned out. When I walked in I had blonde hair all over when I walked out I had a dark dish water color which wouldn’t have been so bad but I had brought a picture of what I wanted and it wasn’t that. Oh I definitely wanted a copper color weaved through my hair but I still wanted some of my blonde weaved in with it. I thought once I got home and saw it in a different light it might look better but that didn’t happen. It looks like my natural color which I have spent 20 years coloring my hair to get away from that. I used a Groupon so the service was already paid for and I felt I couldn’t say anything. Just disappointed.

Shannda is the best! You really should go to her to get your hair cut and styled. You will not regret it. I especially recommend going to her if you have curly hair. It is really difficult for me to find a hair dresser when I move to a new place. I have now been going to Shannda for a year. She will work with you to figure out what will work best. She is also friendly and sweet! The salon has a teamwork atmosphere, the staff all works together and supports each other.

I could not be happier with my hair stylist Baleria! She is so talented and knows exactly what she’s doing. She gave me thee most gorgeous ombré I’ve ever had, it was such a pretty ashy blonde exactly what I asked for! And this last time I went to her she turned me into a blonde! Her hands are magic! I highly recommend her, you will not he disappointed!

Shannda is THE best. I had never colored my hair before but she made me feel super comfortable about the whole process and created the perfect color for me! She listened, took her time and did an amazing job. I am absolutely obsessed with my new hair and go back regularly to maintain it! Definitely would recommend!

Shannda is the only person I will let touch my hair! She usually cuts and colors my hair, but I just recently went short after having long hair for years. Shannda cut it perfectly and made sure she didn’t make it too short. I’m IN LOVE. I highly recommend her. Not only is she skilled, but has a great personality and offers genuine advice to the right style for you! I couldnt see anyone having a bad experience with her.

Go see Shannda! I am very particular about who I let cut my hair and did a great job. She is professional but also has a personality. She listened to exactly how I wanted my hair cut and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be a regular with her!

I took a huge gamble booking my wedding hair and make-​up without a test run (I like to live on the edge and am from out of the area) and was so relieved with my results. Baleria was amazing! She sent me text updates leading up to the wedding, assured me that she had been practicing and the day of showed me my options along the way. I typically am an au natural girl but her make-​up suggestions really made me look like the bride in all my photos.
My ONLY criticism would be for the other stylist that kept coming over during my appointment to ask if she could borrow blush and lipstick – not very professional. You do your make-​up in your space, with your make-​up and not on our time. Baleria was very polite though and kept me calm as I was getting antsy.
Also, this is the first time through the wedding planning process that I was PLEASANTLY surprised at the register. Would definitely recommend to all my Bay Area friends.

I really love this place. I discovered it when I was living in the area and now that I’ve moved, I still drive 45 min to get here and have Melissa do my hair! I trust her opinion on everything and I always leave feeling good about my hair. She did my hair for my wedding last year, too — amazing.
Everyone else who works at the salon is really friendly and nice, and the salon itself is really cute. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Highly recommend.

Awesome experience. Baleria was nothing short of professional, sweet, and fun. She was easy to keep a conversation with. I love my cute and color. I’m so happy her and Morgan are helping with my wedding!

It was horrible experience. I have a groupon’s coupon for Keratin treatment. In the middle of the process the manager said you should pay more because you have thick hairs. I had to accept but I told them you saw my hair @ first and you didn’t tell me anything.
Please be careful they are cheap and liars.
Don’t buy their groupon’s coupon.
They offer their customers coffee and beverages but because they knew I have groupon coupon they didn’t offer me water in 3 hours process:(
I don’t recomend this salon to the others just waisting your time and money.

I called first thing in the morning and was scheduled same day at 3pm. I’m a bleached blonde and was super weary about going back to the dark side. Baleria, was amazing, not only does she make you feel super comfortable she’s also very hands on and isn’t hesitant with her input, I love that in a hair dresser:-) I left very happy and satisfied with my lovely blonde ombré! Customer service is outstanding.

Best experience ever!!! Staff is so helpful! I was trying to get my hair done for my birthday with another place and the lady never showed up for my appointment. I was so
friend told me she checked out a stylist from sherilynn salon and I called and the person on the phone helped me make a last minute appointment with shannda for the next day. I even got to go in an hour later for a consultation, which was awesome because she knew what dye to buy after get shift was over. Well I showed up today and the custq1qomer service went above and beyond. shannda was amazing super friendly, very attentive and everything I wanted in a stylist. She did the most amazing job and even with all the photos I wanted my hair to look like she did that times a hundred. I am going to be a definite regular now. And sherilynn was do awesome checking in to sees how things were. super duper happy!!!

Vanessa has literally been a blessing since the day she walked into my life! Not only is she such a outstanding person she has the most amazing god given HANDS! This woman is super human when it goes to a good hair cut and color. After years of only ONE person cutting my hair, I trusted her one day and have never gone back to anyone but her. I am excited for every hair cut by her.
She is ama-​zing! Go to her if you’re looking for someone who will take the time to understand what you want and then execute it, go to Vanessa.

I purchased a Groupon after seeing many positive reviews on Unilocal.I brought in a picture of the cut that I wanted with only 1 criteria, that my hair will still be long enough to tie back in a pony tail. After the consultation, I couldn’t wait to see the end result, so I closed my eyes and let her do her thing.
When she told me she had finished, I about almost flipped out of my chair. My hair was turned into a 1970’s bob and not nearly long enough to tie back in a pony tail. Aside from the length, it was so uneven with one side being even shorter the the other. The only way it can be fixed is to go even shorter. It will take at least 4 – 6 months to grow it out.
I want my money back!!!
