If you’re looking for a clean, well maintained gym that has good customer service, don’t waste your time joining this gym. There are better gyms in this area that will charge a lot less, and give you a lot more. I was a member of Snap Fitness for a year and a half. I don’t expect the gym to be spotless. I know its a gym. But I do expect someone to clean up the BLACKMOLD growing in restrooms, not let the BLACKMOLD to grow wild and expand on the walls for months on end. I also expect the clubs to have a working hot water heater, not leave it broken and in «vacation mode» with no repair date in site. Having a working scale available in at least at one of the 3 clubs would be nice too. But I digress. Unfortunately, according to the many managers and employees and that never seem to stay with Snap Fitness for long, they’re well aware that only half of the light bulbs work in the restrooms at any given time, the vent fans haven’t worked for years on end, the towels are thread bare, and yes they know that there is BLACKMOLD is growing on the walls in the bathroom. They’re also aware that yet once again the hot water heater isn’t working, and probably won’t for a few more months. The excuse that the managers and employees always fall back on is that the owner is aware of the situation, but she doesn’t want to spend the money to fix the problems, and won’t l buy the cleaning supplies necessary to remove the BLACKMOLD growing on the bathroom walls. They point out that the owner is more concerned about getting the money from your credit card every month, verses putting that money back into the club and maintaining it, or providing you with a clean and safe atmosphere to work out in. if you don’t mind paying a lot, and getting very little back back in return, along with NOT having a safe environment to work out in, then this is the club for you.
