Amazing ribs!!! I was a little disappointed with the portion size of the side dishes especially since the meal wasn’t cheap, but both (Mac n cheese and coleslaw) were delicious. Can’t complain there.

My husband used to frequent this place as a supervisor for CSX years ago and I never got the opportunity to go, we’ll we both went today and it was excellent.
There were three choices of sauce, the pulled pork was smokey, flavorful and moist. The pickle chips had an excellent batter on them that we really enjoyed.
The chicken leg was very flavorful as were the ribs. (As you can likely guess we got some sort of sample plate that I can’t remember the name of)
Our waitress Harley was EXCELLENT! She was extremely attentive, polite, capable, knowledgable and easy to talk to.
She made sure we never needed anything. Our drinks never came close to being low. She deserves a raise!

Lunch Buffet is not a real buffet. Don’t get tricked into this — you get one plate and only can choose one meat and two sides. Nobody explained this to me and I felt very disappointed about the «buffet». The BBQ at this place is AMAZING! Probably the best I have ever had.

Ok — we went here for lunch and I was surprised that the place was hopping AND we were still able to get seated right away.
It’s one of those places where you eat the shelled nuts and dispose of the shells on the floor — sorry I just can’t get comfortable doing that, but my colleagues helped me fit in!
The menu was fairly extensive and had LOTS of meat items — I went with the Port Plate with two sides, which were two sides too much. Not wanting either of the dressings — the waitress brought over a hot (temperature) dressing just for me — AMAZING! She said it was too expensive to always have it out, but she thought I’d like it — I think she knew I wasn’t from the south because I didn’t have that southern accent :)
At any rate — I have to give it 5 stars for service — 4 stars 4 food flavor (it was a tiny bit dry) and 3 stars for cleanliness (it was a bit sticky). Value was right up there along with ample parking. Nice touch was the menus were colored by children or adults who cannot color well.
Overall — I’d go back, but it wouldn’t be a place I’d make a point to going back to!

Used to love this place so much, went there almost 2 – 3 times per month. Always got the pig ears which are baked potatoes stuffed with chicken and cheese or the smoke chicken salad. Last several time the potatoes were over cooked and hard. The salad had literally ¼ of a cup of chicken on it. Even the manager agreed with me when I showed it to him… it’s a shame because the service is usually great and food was good up until the last 4 – 5 visits. maybe a new cook? who knows.

Very good BBQ. I especially love their fried pickles and their lemonade. The lemonade will have you hooked.
