There is nothing fancy about this restaurant, which makes it perfect. It’s soul food, made very well by a family run kitchen. I was greeted at the door while reading the menu outside, and told to skip reading, and see what they had. Inside the interior is clean, a little aged, but appropriate. There is a counter with their ready to-go buffet, or you can order off a menu to have something prepared. I grabbed some baked chicken, which falls off the bone, greens, sweet yams, and cornbread. I’ll be back. This is your mama’s cookin’, no skimping on the oil or butter.
