If you are active in your addiction and are looking for a place to to lay low for awhile this is the place for you. Very little supervision, close to the beach, no consequences for not following direction, this is a great place to get the heat off while you continue to get loaded and/​or drunk.
There was one client that overdosed while in treatment and was back in 24 hours. On several occasions the owner’s own daughter was allowed to, not only stay in the facility, but bring friends in, along with drugs, and get everyone in the whole house high. When confronted with the facts, the owner, who has no clinical training whatsoever, decided the best thing to do would be to take them all out, buy them ice cream, and new clothes. No joke, I can’t make this stuff up.
