By far my favorite restaurant. I have been eating here at least 4 to 5 times a week(sometimes twice a day) for the past 4 years and the food never gets old. There is something on the menu for everyone including gluten intolerant people and vegans and almost everything on the menu is great. The restaurant can get busy causing the food to take longer, but same for any other good restaurant. I highly recommend Gina’s.

I’m a local and Love Gina’s Pizza, Boat Canyon. They have great food and I Love my Biggaslice, Wings without the hot sauce. Even though the food is great the Customer Service is not always so great. I have to thank Gina’s Pizza for hiring their new employee«Christian». He displayed a positive adittude, smiled and made feel welcomed. A smile and a sincere Thank You, means a lot to me. oh, and their biggaslice was awesome.

Great pizza and salad. Our family usually stops here after the beach. Have not been disappointed yet.

The people here were really nice and the pizza was great. I usually don’t like leftovers because it doesn’t taste the same after it’s heated up again, but when I heated my leftover slice it tasted almost exactly the same!

First time visiting Laguna… ordered pizzas and salads into hotel room. Some of the best food I have ever had. The veggie pizza was incredible and the salads were awesome. Highly recommend this place!

The worse service pasta sat on counter for 20 mins and i had to ask where was my order. once I got it home it was cold. Clearly these employees need training!

The pizza here is decent at best, you can actually see they use pre-made dough to make pizza. I would probably give them at least 1 more star and maybe even 2, but the obnoxious tip jar and the way the cashier stares at you incessantly until you tip them, it makes you feel like they will spit in your slice if you don’t tip. I want to be very clear about something; I think tipping restaurant servers is necessary and shame on anyone that does not tip properly. A server gets paid about half of minimum wage and tipping is supposed to make up the difference. I am sure that Gina’s is not paying the cashier less than minimum wage, shame on them if they do. I will take my business elsewhere, I will not be forced to tip by an obnoxious cashier or made to feel like a cheap deadbeat when I am paying 5 bucks for a small slice of average pizza.

The pizza is good. It’s the crackpot crew that earns this Gina’s pizza its sole star. I just called to find out about their chicken wings. The gentleman who picked up the phone seemed to have been answering in his underwear from his mother’s basement. «Hello?» Someone grunted. «Um, is this Gina’s Pizza.» «Yeah.» During this awkward silence I wondered if now wasn’t a good time, but I decided to plow through: «I’m calling to ask about your chicken wings.» After I asked the question, my interlocutor let out a grunt that I interpreted as «ten dollars.» «OK,» I continued, «Ten dollars for how many?» «Ugh pound.» «One pound?» I clarified. «Ugh.» If my gruntese was right, this sound indicated consent. I continued on. «How many wings is that?» «Ugh pound,» the voice replied. At this point, I decided the number of wings wasn’t too important. After all, did I really need more than ugh pound? I tried a different route: «And what flavored do those come in?» Apparently this question was too nuanced even for the customer service champion on the other end of the line. Through several confused grunts, I tried different formulations of my question: «kinds of wings? hot wings? bar-b-que? Flavors on the wings what kind?» There’s no telling which of these was the magic number for the grunter, but suddenly, he was yelling at me. «Spiced! Spiced! Spiced wings!» At that, I thanked the man for his time and hung up the phone. The experience was enough to sway me from eating any more Gina’s Pizza, so I went to tell my take on Unilocal while I assume the grunter went back to reading How to Win Friends and Influence Pizza.

After a long day at the beach, our plans for a grand dine in experience was strongly opposed. The hotel clear highly recommended Gina’s for delivery. Our food arrived at the on time and HOT! We ordered a Godfather pizza, spaghetti with meatballs, the meat lasagne, along with one tiramisu. I was a bit disappointed they no longer make the linguine with clams. However, the penne with pesto and sausage more than made up for it. The food was delivered hot and tasty. The portions are huge! My mom and I ordered the lasagne and penne(respectively) in lunch portions yet could not finish in one sitting. Paid $ 65 for 4 people. Not bad at all

All in all I’d give Gina’s pizza place 2.7 star rating in total(which bumps it up to 3). –1 star for price(charging extra for each topping) –1 star for limited sizing for gluten free pizza –1 star for topping serving sizes specifically on the gluten free vegan cheese pizza +1 star for convenience +1 star for taste +1 star for regular cheese and pizza crusts’ topping amount and quality The regular(non vegan non gluten free) pizza my BF had was topped full with a good amount of sauce, chicken, cheese and tomatoes. He ordered a personal size and got full eating only half(4 pieces). I on the other hand feel a bit cheated. The gluten free pizza crust was thin(but I like that). They only have the gluten free pizza crust in a size medium. Not only does it Cost extra because it is a medium, but they charge extra for gluten free. This reminds me of our government and taxes. :/ My toppings were scarce at best. My chicken was thin and sparse and waaaay over cooked. My vegan cheese was extremely sparse as well. BTW they charge extra for vegan cheese(but they give you sooo much less than they give your mozzarella eating BF). The sauce was minimal at best. I found blank spots on my crust that just should not have been in the middle of the pizza. The amount of my last topping(2nd) was pineapple. It had a good amount. I LOVE pineapple, so for me I would have wanted more, but they charge extra for extra toppings so I didn’t ask for more. All in all the amount of pineapple they used was good. I would not say it was used sparingly like I would the cheese and chicken. Taste was good. It could be better though. All in all I have to give Gina’s 2.7 stars. If they would have simply given me the quality pizza that they gave my BF in amount of sauce, toppings, and size options I would have given them at least 4 stars perhaps even 5. Will I go back? Maybe, but no doubt I’ll have to pay extra extra extra if I want the pizza to taste like a normal pizza. Can I recommend… Not really. My BF liked his regular so for him… Yes.

The food was okay, but the customer service was atrocious. When our food came out one of the pizzas was wrong, which I can understand because we all make mistakes. However, the girl that brought our food took the pizza that was a mistake and never came back. She never apologized or even mentioned that they were going to make another. Instead my wife and I sat outside wondering what was happening. After about 10 minutes I went inside to ask what was happening and the same girl(short, short hair, glasses, and a little on the heavy side) says, «It’s coming out right now.» There was no pizza out in front of her, so I asked, «How long?» She continued to say, «Right away.» It was a blatant dismissal of my request and a feeble attempt to just end the conversation. I finally said, «So in five minutes then?» Her response, «One minute.» I walk outside and 3 minutes later my pizza is out. She doesn’t bring the pizza this time because she probably doesn’t know how to talk to me anymore. When I go inside to get a box, she completely ignore me and someone else has to come up and offer to help. I highly recommend you do not go here, especially if you see a short, short haired, chubby girl with glasses. She will probably mess your order up and then just ignore you while the rest of the crew cleans up her mess.

My husband and I are big fans of Ginas. Hands down the BEST pizza around. We are local and frequent this location for takeout. Pizza tastes fresh and staff is friendly. I’m quite surprised the ratings are so low… Perhaps they are rating Slices vs whole pies? Slices are never as good… No matter where you go. Breakdown and get a small over the slice and you will not be disappointed!

Just outstanding!!! As a former New Yorker but can’t say when I found better pizza in Orange County in the service, the quality, and the prices are second to none. 5 star rating across the board !!! Ginas is the best!!!

A few of us love Gina’s, the others not so much so I averaged it 3 s for us. The sauce tastes canned to me. The crust is a little plasticy… I do love the house salad, but wish olives and cheese were not special request items.

We make an effort to stop at Gina’s every time we visit Laguna. Fresh ingredients you can taste with every bite, along with the hearty size of each slice is well worth your money. Gina’s is the perfect place to go after spending the day at the beach, and they have outdoor seating to enjoy the cool beach breeze. Go grab a slice from friendly people who know good pizza.

Mmmmm we found this place at a recommendation of a friend. We ordered a pizza and spaghetti. Omg one of the best thick crust pizza I ever ate. Not too greasy and so delicious. Nothing fancy about the spaghetti but it tasted so good and had tons of flavor. So good. If the weather is nice sit outside and enjoy the view.

We first tried Gina’s pizza a couple of years ago and we loved it. We were in Laguna last month and we ordered a pizza for take out and it was just as good as we remembered it. I really love the sauce they use for the pizza and the crust is really good too. The night before we were heading home we decided to eat at the Pavilllions center so we could eat outside. I wanted spaghetti and I asked if I could have it with the pizza sauce instead of the marinara, they were very kind to make this special request for me. The spaghetti was so good and it came with some really crust, warm garlic bread. My hubby had a mini pizza and my daughter and niece shared the fettucini alfredo, it was all so good. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Laguna.

Gina’s is awesome. There’s like five or so of these pizza parlors around. When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, it’s amore~! They did something funny to the chicken wings and it’s a passé. Pizza wise it’s dlish. Especially when hot outta oven. I used to get the Godfather which is just pounds of crap with pasta sauce and chesse but the house pizza is my favorite followed by the veggie pizza. The crust isn’t large like chicago style but it isn’t slinky like nyc style. Just perfect. Darn Sicilians know how to cook. The cheese is perfecto amount, not overbearing and i normally get extra marinara sauce cause i like it. Dipping ranch works too but ranch is so bad for our body except the tongue. Prices are above normal for pizza spots. basically some wings and a medium pie, couple sodas run for $ 40-$ 50ish. They have beer/wine here too. The location is absolutely divine. Especially with the summer breeze, patio seating and all that except when some douchebags(giggles) decides to smoke and ruin it for everyone. =D
