Mo is one of the most honest, reasonable and pleasant person to work with. My mother drives from Irvine because the service is excellent. Most of her friends also now use them and have been really happy.

These idiots can’t follow simple instructions given to them multiple times on top of overcharging for basic work. The last couple times we’ve taken our car there we have come back to violations on the interlock device they are supposed to take out (by their own admission) while working on the car. Instead they’ve not done a thing with it, nor notified us that this was the case and instead deflect as if nothing happened. Each time ran addition and completely unnecessary trip to Anaheim is required plus a $ 100 payment to fix the violation on top of what they are overcharging for repairs. We’ve asked them at the time of drop off to remember to take it out, left instructions for them, and it was them from the beginning that said they do take it out, when in fact they definitely do not and/​or will not. They are not honest. Passable work at best and shitty customer service. They will not see business from us again

Eric, Moe, and Rip are the real deal mechanics. These guys don’t mess around, they know their trade. I’ve gone through many mechanics with my 76 Cadillac Eldorado and it’s been a nightmare. Everyone oversold and no one knew how to get down to the problem and get it resolved. I decided to take a gamble and stop by and drop off my vehicle at this shop. Turned out to be a lottery win for me. These guys truly delivered. I came in and explained what the problem was and at the end of the day I received a call with a detailed answer. No sale tactics, just straight legitimate answers with RESULTS to back everything up. Finally my Cadillac is running smooth. I also found a new home for all my other cars. Thank you.

Laguna Auto Service has been working on my car for the last 2.5 years. I am so impressed with their service I can honestly say I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

One of the most honest auto shops I have ever been to. I have taken my last car and my new car to LASC for about 3 years and I trust them with all of my needs and concerns. Eric and Mo have been so wonderful and helpful. They even offered to drop me off and pick me up several times while my car was being worked on. It’s so refreshing to know I’m not just another number but I’m a customer. Thank you guys for all that you continue to do!

Laguna Auto Service is awesome. They do solid work and are extremely reasonable on pricing. I’ve never had a questionable experience with them. Mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and Eric is always on point with his projections regarding amount of time needed to fix the problem. I can’t foresee taking my car to any other mechanic for any reason.

Went to Laguna Auto Service for the first time this week. Eric was very pleasant treated me very kindly. I needed to have a clutch repaired on a 2007 mini Cooper. I needed to go to work and Eric offered me a loaner car to drive for two days while my car was being repaired. My car runs great came and out of the shop clean. I took my car to the dealership first they wanted $ 600. more to do the same job as Laguna Auto Service. I will continue to come back to Laguna Auto Service when my car needs an oil change or any other repairs. Great work guys! Thank you!

This is the only place I will take my car for service. Mo and his staff are always courteous and professional. They are very patient, and kind to me when I ask all my questions, too. Very fair on pricing, and jobs are usually completed very timely. They will even give you a ride home if necessary! I’d give them 500 stars if I could!

Great service! Smog check was done quickly. The staff was so friendly, I had them give me an estimate to fix my bumper. They ordered the part and had it in the next day. Gave me a ride to and from home while they had the car for the afternoon. Highly recommend.

I initially went to Laguna Auto Service for a smog check, which was done diligently on time and with a $ 20 discount coupon. I also asked Eric to check on CV Joints that have been diagnosed broken for a second opinion. He not only did that and even showed it to me with a very pleasant attitude, but also the estimate he gave me was significantly less than what I’ve been told by my trusted mechanic. They also checked and adjust the tires pressure. On my return for axel replacement I was treated very well and even was given a ride back home by a real gentleman, Mr Mo Bonakdar whom I learned later that he is the owner of the establishment. To find an auto service of this quality in Laguna Beach, I really felt fortunate. As a foot note the shop is located pretty much at the beach and I enjoyed that immensely as I waited for my smog check.

I have been taking my cars here for years and I won’t take them anywhere else. Mo and Eric always take care of us and I am never disappointed with the service and care that we get here. They are honest and can always fit you in, even last minute.

Before we just had a smog check and thought we would try the service next. We just picked up our car for a 180K service. The service and the feedback from Eric about the car was very thorough. I have never seen a price this low for a service for our BMW, so I was very happy! I had money left over for more things like tires and body work. I am so happy to have found this service center. Walking distance from home, the beach and downtown. Perfect!

I was charged «about $ 5» ($ 5) to dispose of my used motor oil from an oil change that I did myself. I have never been charged and I don’t think shops usually do charge. If I wasn’t in such a hurry I wouldn’t have stopped here.

I took my car there for the first time for a clutch issues with my car. Unfortunately, I needed to get it done quickly and didn’t price check. It took them 2 days to let me know what the issue was. Once I picked up the car, there was a grinding noise to my car. I called the same day to let them know. Took my car in the following morning and was told by the owner that it was due to dirty brake line and they would do it the following week. Needless to say, something that I was told would take, at most, an hour took another 2 days. AND it still had the grinding sound, which they are now saying is the transmission, which never had issues before. I have taken my car to get looked at again and was told that I was overcharged and that they believe the grinding issue was a result of my clutch not being installed correctly the first time. This was an EXPENSIVE learning experience!

This is my go to place for my older BMW. Honest and polite. Thanks for keeping me running.

I found this shop from a simple google search after buying a used car and wanting to find a new go-​to mechanic. They are always polite and helpful on the phone and I have always been able to get in easily and around my busy schedule. Their prices are very fair and they are really thorough; when I brought my car in for an oil change they pointed out additional things that should be done but never hassled me. Eric is very helpful and honest, which is hard to find in a mechanic shop these days. I was told my car was out of alignment after getting new tires and I (thankfully) waited until I was due for an oil change so I could bring it to these guys. Eric told me straight up I did not need my alignment done, it was fine, he said it would be a waste of money (saved me $ 99) which I appreciated and it just reinforced why I bring my business to them. I haven’t had any major work done there yet but I wouldn’t bring my car anywhere else.
I have a used Honda but I always see nice cars there like Mercedes and Ferraris so they treat you just as well regardless of what you drive.

These guys (Mo, Eric and crew) are exceptional! It’s really rare to come across people who do what they say they are going to, on-​time and at the price they promise.

Love this place! When I first called regarding an oil change, the call dropped while speaking with Eric. I was over it already but he called me right back, which gave me a really good impression.
My service ended up taking less time than originally thought AND they got my tires balanced (which I absolutely needed). They did a full inspection and was right on the dot about everything.
SO happy that I found this place! Also, a plus was the awesome location — walked up to Penguin café for breakfast and spent some needed time at the beach.

Mo and Eric did a great job with great prices — considering they are on the beach you would think they would be pricier but they aren’t. They also picked up the car for FREE, and offered to even drop it off! (but I went and picked it up)
Honest folks running a great small business — highly recommend.
