Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, without pushing unneeded repairs. This is the ONLY shop in Orange County where I actually trust the mechanics and their work.

Took my Mercedes ML to get serviced here for a regular service «b.»
Major perk: The price was ½ compared to what a normally pay, but I didn’t feel the quality of service was lost at any step along the process. I was able to make an appointment and the service professionals were very courteous and answered any questions that I had as well as explained what my car needed/​what they worked on.
Pros:
–although they do not wash your car, they provide a gift certificate for a local car wash.
–the explain what is upcoming and tell you it’s okay to wait for next service compared to fixing it ASAP as the dealers often recommend.
–friendly, professional service. Not «salesly» and they own the type of cars they service.
–only work on German cars.
Cons:
No free coffee or loaner cars as the dealers provide, but if you think about it the the price of these items is a reason why the dealership price is double then what you may be quoted here.

I had an excellent experience at Laguna Motor Werks. They were very thorough and let me know everything, minor and major, that needed fixing. They were honest in letting me know which issues could wait to be fixed at a later time. The service was amazing. They were very nice and seemed to really care. I’ll be taking my car there from now on.

DO NOT GO HERE! They lied to me about my car repair. They text me to tell me the repair was done. When I showed up, they lied and said the repair wasn’t done and that they need to keep my car all weekend and it wasn’t safe to drive and that it cost more than what they said! Omg this is a small town Laguna Motor Werks! Think about how you treat people because the word will definitely get out! I ended up having AAA come over and they fixed the problem within minutes. I have never been this passionate about getting the word out. When it comes to your car, your at their mercy so trust me when I say they are crooks! DO NOT GO HERE! There are a few good guys in town so ask around.

Great friendly service! I happened to lock my keys in my car down the street and they were more than willing to assist quickly and efficiently!

Vick and company are the honest and straight forward car guys you have been looking for. I started taking my BMW to them over a year ago and I recommend them to family, friends and coworkers also.
Instead of using scare tactics like most places in Orange County they explain what can be put off til the next oil change and what needs to be done sooner then later.
Plus they have the cutest mascot ever, an English Bulldog :)

I had a PPI and a leakdown test done. I have bought vehicles in the past and had inspections done at other facilities who would charge separately (and exorbitantly) for both. It was a pleasant surprise when Aaron told me there was only one charge and didn’t feel it was right to charge extra for the leakdown test.
The inspection was very thorough and a detailed PDF was emailed to me. Aaron also provided a contact for an auto appraisal. Thanks again to everyone at Laguna Motor Werks!

$ 120 to diagnose a window not working after car wash in classic 1991 SEC. Really? Explained new in town and looking for service I could trust. Found a place within a block. Car dried out and no repair was needed. I hate to even imagine the diagnosis. Wow.

Every time we have gone here, the experience has been good to exceptional.
I feel that they are more interested in getting things right and building a long term relationship instead of seeing how much they can get you for on the invoice at hand.
I have had many honest conversations with them about prioritizing what might be taken care of now and what could wait until the next visit. When you aren’t on any kind of warranty, this kind of dialogue an is invaluable.
Only one negative to report. They recommended I replace a part that I found out, later at the dealer, wasn’t broken. They didn’t have the particular machine to test that part. So it should have been made clear that they were recommending replacement of a part that wasn’t already shot. Their recommendation to replace it was made based on what they saw as visible corrosion (probably due to the fact that we live by the beach). But I think it’s a minor negative in the overall scheme of things.
I recommend Laguna Motor Werks. Ask as many questions as you like, and even get a second opinion. But they will take care of you, you will leave there happy and you will want to return.

After meeting these guys, I’m never going to the dealer again! Why would you? To get ripped off? No way! Rene’s the best! In the past they’ve even dropped off my car at me house while I went on vacation. You can’t get that anywhere else. I definitely recommend this place :)

John & Vic are two of the nicest people and most trustworthy mechanics I have ever come into contact with. After taking my Jeep to them the first time, I have never taken it anywhere since and never intend to. I recommend them to everyone I know not only for the quality of service, but the quality of people. Take your car there and you will be taken care of 150%, and that is something I have never said about a car mechanic. I am so thankful to have found them. 10 out of 5 stars.

They should give us the option to put 10 out of 5 stars!!! This place is by far as good as it gets when it comes to an auto shop. Vic and the guys are the most knowledgable, and incredibly honest mechanics I have ever gone to! I moved back to Vegas over 6 months ago and will drive 4 hours any day of the week, even if it is just for an oil change to take my baby to them. They work on her just as if she was their own car and I greatly appreciate it and them!!! I would and have recommended them to EVERYONE I know!!! Thanks guys!!!

I love this place and the service was outstanding! This shop is full of Laguna Beach charm. Vick is very patient and courteous. I’m done going to the dealer to service my car. I would much rather work someone I can trust and is local over the impersonal service service I receive at the dealer. I highly recommend Vick to all my friends and family.
