Me gusta Papa’s Tacos muchos. La comida esta muy, muy buena y la comida no es muy caro, es un poco barato. Los personas en el restaurante son muy amables y es una restaurante muy divertida con los asientos están afuera de el restaurante. Pero, hay muchos personas que le gusta fumar afuera de el restaurante. Los burritos son muy, muy grande y los tacos son un poco pacano. También, hay tiene desayuno que es muy buena. Los burritos de desayuno son muy grande y muy buena.

The food is pretty tasty and it’ll hit the spot. But it is a bit pricey for what you get. For $ 20 we got a California burrito and a torta with rice and beans. Not bad, but more than I’m used to paying for hole in the wall Mexican food with little to no seating (just a couple benches outside). I guess you pay for the proximity to the beach. It is on PCH and about a mile from Thousand Step Beach in Laguna.
Bottom line: It’s solid if your in the area and need something to fill your stomach while your at the beach. But you’ll find better, cheaper food elsewhere.

Phenomenal, ordered a Carne asada burrito and it was fantastic.
I’m not one for lots of words but I would definitely reccomend if you are craving some mexican food.

Terrible service from the young man taking orders. As of 9÷26÷15. I asked for a refund, and surprisingly got it. I will never go here again.

Very un profesional. Employees are disrespectful. A bunch of my friends went there at 7:30 and they said their grill was closed, even though the restaurant closes at 8:00. Would not recommend this place.

Killer shredded chicken tacos. Always juicy — never dried out. Killer chunky salsa. Killer rice and beans. Killer portions. I have been eating here for years and it is consistently great! Friendly staff

Decent taco stand right by the beach. Stopped here for lunch and got the macha chicken burrito – ate the inside of it which had chicken, pinto beans, and lettuce (I opted for no cheese). The chicken was flavorful but the burrito needed a little more substance in it-​maybe some guacamole. I would come back here again though as they had a lot of variety and the service was quick and friendly.

Most delish fish taco I have had on my California quest for best taco. Carnitas tacos so full that my daughter needed to use a fork. Try the homemade pico de gallo. Super friendly window service,

This little stand on the side of the road is great! I got one big carnitas taco with guacamole and it was definitely filling enough for a lunch. The guy who runs the place was super friendly and he made my day trip with my boyfriend that much more fun. This is definitely a great little find if you’re driving up the 1!

Yup. 5 stars. I’m all in on this place. I ordered the mahi mahi bowl with black beans and a little cheese on top. I want to eat it again RIGHT NOW. And again tomorrow. Oh, so filling. I ate fast to make sure I could jam it all in my face. Every bite was orgasmic. I want to rent the apartment upstairs so I can eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I have to go back to Laguna Beach in a month and you, yeah you reading this, better not be in my way. I’ll probably bite you.
They have 30 minute parking right in front (long green curb) and that is 25 more minute than I needed to shovel this epically delicious, hugely proportioned meal into my pie hole.
I think I am going to buy a house in Laguna. not for the ocean, but for the delicious mahi mahi it serves up to the wonderful chef at Papa’s Tacos. I wish you were my papa.

I took the 101 Coast Hwy from San Diego and I came to a stop to this place. I ordered the Shrimp Taco and the Carne Asada Torta. The Shrimp in the taco was seared beautifully. And the Torta had a well toasted roll with the taste of the meat and Guacamole. If I lived in Laguna Beach I would give this a 4 to 5 star. The only reason its a 3 for me is because I can have the same style of food in SD. But if your a local to Laguna Beach or visiting, this is the place to be!!!

Had the carne asada taco and it was mediocre. Just really dry in general and cost $ 3.99. Chips and salsa were good though. I guess if you need a quick bite to eat by 1000 Steps or Victoria Beach for under $ 10 it gets the job done.

The carnitas here has consistently been amazing. For probably 10 years coming here, that’s pretty solid.
I always get the large carnitas taco and it’s totally loaded and worth everything. It’s juicy, crunchy and chunky. Chunky like my future body if I keep eating like this.
They wrap the tacos in foil, so it’s perfect for on the go or on your way to the beach.
