My mom bought me a beautiful handbag from here and it started falling apart one day after I started using it. The threads were coming apart in several places and it was ripping at the seams. My mom brought it back with the receipt one week later and asked if she could exchange it for another or pay more and get something sturdier. Not only did the man working there refuse the exchange he was very rude to her and accused her of ripping the bag. I called to follow up because I was upset he was rude to my mom and he was rude to me as well. I was polite and just asked him to explain the situation and he just said I must have ruined the bag or had very heavy items in it(neither which were true). I said that I was open to an exchange or refund but given the poor customer service and poor treatment I was considering writing a Unilocal review. He said«we don’t care about that kind of thing» and then he hung up on me. Im not sure why a store would choose to treat customers like this, but I would never shop here again under any circumstances.

This store is very cool and is filled wall to wall with art, clothing, and all sorts of strange, interesting items from the region of China called Tibet. The colors are intoxicating, just so beautiful. Free Tibet

Run by Chinese. How ironic!

Some items are very expensive, but the owner or manager who is almost always there helped me and my 10 year old daughter figure out how to use the singing bowls. We walked in and he must have spent close to a whole hour helping her until she was able to do it. Then I came back 2 weeks later to buy it for her, since it was her birthday, wanted to surprise her. The gentleman recognized me and remembered my daughter, so he offered rice paper so I could wrap it and fixed it up for me. He was happy to hear that it was for such a young girl and that she really enjoyed it. Very good customer service, they really care without the pressure.

Amazing little store in down Town Laguna. Extremely friendly and great items. The bedding is beautiful and so reasonable. You must stop in if you are looking for really cool treasures.

I suppose considering the upscale-ness of the neighborhood, high rents, and the price of importing that I shouldn’t be offended at the prices here. But I’ve been to Nepal and own quite a few of the goods sold here, which I bought there for, oh, 10% of what it costs here at the shop. The goods here are higher quality, however, and much, MUCH nicer than many items you get at the brick-a-brack Tibetan or Nepali or Indian shops runs by hippies, or any of the places on say Venice Beach. I’d recommend sticking to the books. They had some VERY nice singing bowls, too that I’d also highly recommend, even with the markup they’re nicer than most places in LA that sell them – they looked to be hand-forged and not made on a lathe.

This is the only Tibetan store in Orange County and I was wonderfully surprised by how many one-of-a-kind items I found. The owner was very helpful and describe where each item came from and what it was made of. The Tibetan Hand-knotted woolen rugs are amazing works of art. I suggest you stop by and discover Tibet and it’s history right in the little store in Laguna Beach. Very Friendly and Helpful Owner.

This is a gem of a little store in downtown Laguna. They offer Tibetan handicrafts like hand made rugs and jewelry. They also have books, cds and cool paper for wrapping gifts. I really love all the different scarves they have in the shop; they’re trendy, yet unique enough to be able to add your own style to a common look. I enjoy this store because it’s off the beaten path, so it’s always empty. What also makes it great is the ever-changing merchandise and the super-friendly owner. This store shouldn’t be missed.
