The best breakfast food I have ever had HANDSDOWN. My husband and I went on a Sunday morning and it was so packed we almost left, however when we heard it was only a 10 – 15 minute wait we decided to stay and see what all the fuss was about. I am so happy we did. Service– The waitresses were very to the point, not your usual Stepford wife waitress being overly nice trying to get a good tip. These chicks were BUSY, and even with as packed as they were, they made sure we had everything we needed and in a timely manner. Food– Just over the top. The portions were insane and the prices were very low. But what made this review 5 stars was the taste. EVERYTHING was freaking delicious. I have never tripped out over my breakfast like that before. A must try for sure is the biscuits. Also as a side not our food came out HOT, as in that has never happened for me at a breakfast place. I will be returning!

Umm not quite sure why they have 4 stars. Their food was rather bland, sirloin and eggs was basic and i asked for medium, instead it comes out raw. Basically i could of made all the food at home and have it come out ALOT better. Not to mention needs a major remodeling, super old and dingy.

wow. just amazing… AMAZING!!! Honestly can’t believe how I lived in Irvine for 4 years and never been to The Snooty Fox. Things you might want to know when eating here for the first time: 1. You pay at the cash register after you finish your meal. 2. If you LOVE buttery/creamy/cheesy foods, this place is for you! If you aren’t a fan of that stuff, probably just stick to the generic omelettes(with less cheese or none) and hash brown. 3. Try having their biscuits! 4. They accept credit cards! 5. Generous food portions! Food: Egg Florentine SCRUMPTIOUS! just WOW! The hollandaise sauce is PERFECTION. I previously had a bad experience with hollandaise sauce at this other diner and wasn’t willing to go through that pain again, but seeing all the other reviews about the egg florentine made me choose to get this. YOUWILLNOTREGRETIT. The poached eggs are just beautifully done and the spinach/tomato/sauteed onion are great compliments with the egg and english muffin. Oh, and can I just say how delicious the english muffin is??? Normally english muffins are so dry, but the one they serve here is buttery/toasty/moist. The hash browns were yummy too! I would love to eat this every morning. Biscuits: My favorite biscuits!!! Super fluffy, and it has this unique taste that I’ve never tasted anywhere else before! They gave this creamy butter whip and honey on the side and it seriously made the biscuit so delicious. Service: Wonderful! Our waitress seriously loves her job. She was super nice and funny and just really made the atmosphere comfortable and homey feeling. This is definitely my go to spot for breakfast from now on! Will be back soon~

The Snooty Fox is in fact not snooty at all! Service here is no bs and quick to get people in and out in a friendly manner if that makes sense. Food Bits! Eggs benedict — My eggs were just a little bit over(tiny bit) but the hollandaise sauce was perfection. Get«those potatoes» as they are hashbrown with peppers and onions making it 10x better. I couldn’t get over how well seasoned everything was! I can’t be the only person impressed. French Toast — you can get these deep fried! We didn’t but that’s a thing! Corned Beef Hash — Not too wow-ed by the corned beef as it was lacking a little something extra. Italian omelette? — Not sure if that’s the actual name on the menu. Basically mozzarella and pepperoni wrapped in egg. Interesting

Breakfast went really great, its been a month since I first knew this place. They have brilliant breakfast. Service is good and the atmosphere is very fantastic, we also had great fun in the bar. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly stay here again next time.

In December, 2015, my daughter suggested this place and we were happy with the service and breakfast. The server was very accommodating to whatever you want to add or subtract from your order. We were five adults with our four grand-kids ranging from 15 months to 11 years of age. We’ll definitely return.

Good things(and good food) come to those who wait. It took about 35 minutes to get a table on Saturday morning. From the time we arrived to the time we left, this place was an absolute mob scene. Despite the crowd, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was great! They did a good job keeping our iced tea glasses full, bringing napkins, and other stuff we requested. The food came out in a reasonable time, even though the kitchen was absolutely slammed with orders. The two cooks were doing an amazing job — I’m still not sure how they were getting it all done so efficiently. The food itself was fresh and hot, classic home cooked style. I ordered the garden omelette, and added ham. It was incredibly tasty and stuffed full of all the ingredients. The hollandaise sauce on top was an awesome touch. Note they serve breakfast all day which is great for those of us who love to sleep in on the weekends! The rest of the classic diner menu options looked good as well. Our kids also ate every scrap of their meals, which is the ultimate test. If the kids like it, you know it’s a good restaurant! By the time we were finished, I had a new appreciation for why it was so crowded. This place serves great breakfast comfort food. We will definitely be back, bit hopefully not during such a busy time.

Deliciousenss food! Great huge portions. The people are very friendly and courteous However because of the good food and service always packed, so expect a wait specially for breakfast. But worth the wait!

Solid for stars for excellent service and top-notch comfort food. Who knew this place existed? I had heard of it but never been until today. I ordered the deep fried French toast and I was not disappointed, it is delicious. The sausage is really good, too. They know how to cook an egg which is also nice! My husband had the chicken fried steak which was good but not quite as good as their competitor. Overall the crowd is good and so is the crowd so great place to get a good breakfast. We’ll definitely be back.

I frequent Snooty Fox, mostly on Sundays. I am a huge eggs benedict fan & theirs is average, however, «Those Potatoes» are amazing & the Ortega chile sandwich is cravable. Love the family vibe & comfortable décor. Will come here for life.

Definitely the best brunch place for me. I say its very nice that this place has great ambiance. The staff is very welcoming and the place is very spacious and very clean which makes it very comfortable to eat. Would be a shame if you just passé by this place and not try their specialties.

Except for the freshly baked biscuits and the fact that they opened on Christmas morning, I found the food here is nothing better than Denny’s, for some selections on the menu, Denny’s might be healthier to be honest. I waited for about a half an hour to be seated since pretty everything was closed near by. The tables are pretty close to each other and crowded so you can’t really get comfortable while eating. I started with fresh squeezed OJ and hot chocolate. Oj was pretty legit but I liked yhe one at Original Pancake House better. I asked for a non fat milk for my hot chocolate, my server just gave me whole milk with whipped cream on it w/o even asking. I asked him to scoop out the whipped cream at least, it wasn’t a good hot chocolate anyway.(Luke warm milk with Hershey’s syrup = yuck) The breakfast menu is pretty expensive, side orders cost $ 3 average, quite expensive as well. I got mushroom omelette with a bisquit and«those brown» or whatever they called their hash brown with bell peppers. My omelette was pretty small, smaller than my hash brown side… the chopped peppers in hash brown weren’t chunky or freshly cut but a few tiny pieces here there. Everything on my plate was skating on grease. Omelette was ok but everything was soaked in butter or grease and hash browns were all burnt but not crispy at all. I enjoyed the fresh baked biscuit tho. Salsa burrito was also served with hash and sour cream, avocado slices on top, with Costco salsa poured over. Burrito was ok but flavor wise nothing unique about it. You can taste the same burrito at any other fast food joints. Denny’s have fresher lighter version, I bet. I don’t know why this place is rated over 4stars. Ambience is just an old american breakfast place, servers are too busy so they don’t pay attention to you much, in fact they just swing by to take orders. I had to suffer from heart burn and indigestion all day from all that grease.

Discovered this restaurant in Unilocal!while searching for a breakfast place in Orange County. We called to make a reservation but they do not take reservations. First come first serve. Waited about 30 minutes for a table. Restaurant is really outdated and small. Appears clean. They want to serve you fast and our food came out within 8 minutes. Portions are huge so you can split a meal with someone. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and rich. Took our food home as we ordered to much. A little pricey but if you split the huge portion it works out okay.

Family breakfast that doesn’t include cooking or going to Denny’s off of Sand Canyon resulted in us driving to The Snooty Fox in Laguna Hills. As we approached the door, other people were eagerly awaiting a spot for them to dine in at this establishment. Although the décor has not been updated in awhile, the friendly service and large portions make up for it. As my party of 4 waited around without being given a time as to how long the wait would be, two people wandered into the lighting store until our name was called. When it was, the two of us sat down and the older blonde lady asked us «where is everyone else» I told her they were inside the lighting store, they were on their way over. The blonde lady(I’m assuming she was a manager and/or the owner of the establishment) asked the young hostess if she was aware that not everyone in our party was here to which she shook her head no. I don’t mind waiting but nobody is going to stand outside for an unknown amount of time to eat breakfast. If you want everyone to be present before you are seated, there should be a sign on the door saying so. Otherwise, everything was mighty fine. Like the other reviews have stated, the portions are very generous. I opted to try«those potatoes» which were crispy hash browns with onions and peppers. Totally worth every bite of the dish. According to OC Weekly, this place was named Best Breakfast(2015) so I’m glad that I got to experience something that lots of people raved about. I will be back, possibly with a smaller party.

A must-go place for breakfast! I took my business guest to this place and he took his colleague couple days after. They both loved it! Thanks Unilocalers! for this FANTASTIC! I’m actually taking my wife and son there; I’m sure they both are gonna love it. Oh! Lots of sunshine if you go there at a right time. Servers are friendly but busy of course. The coffee was not the best coffee I’ve ever had, but it was OK. I had the omelet with the ground beef; I enjoyed the meal. And yes, try«THOSEPOTATOES»! Update from Sunday visit: You will probably have a 20-min wait time to be seated. It WORTHS a wait though. This time I tried sausage omelette, and it was good. I still go for beef one; just a personal taste I think.

Are you looking for a breakfast/brunch place that isn’t pretentious and confusing? Here you go. The Snooty Fox is the exact opposite of what their name implies. There is no snootiness here, just excellent service all around. They have an extensive breakfast menu(pancakes! eggs benedict! quiche!) with everything a greasy spoon could make. Think diner status. I ordered the grilled french toast with eggs and sausage. The french toast was perfect and so were the eggs. The sausage was probably Farmer John’s breakfast sausage links, but I love them so that’s a plus. They also serve lunch items here like reubens, pastrami, etc. There are some specials but I wasn’t paying attention to what exactly they were. It gets super packed here but there are plenty of tables. The parking lot can be a pain around lunchtime.

«I went to a restaurant that serves „breakfast at any time“ so I ordered French toast during the Renaissance.» — Steven Wright I love traditional American breakfast foods(i.e., omelettes, pancakes, sausage), but usually indulge in such tasty goodness on Saturday when my husband and I look forward to trying a new breakfast spot. The Snooty Fox serves delicious breakfast foods that will leave you feeling proud to be an American. The joint is your typical greasy, unassuming hole-in-the-wall — love it. The Snooty Fox’s pancakes are yummy; I recommend them especially if you like to eat food bigger than the size of your face. And if you have the option go with«those potatoes» which are ordinary hashbrowns(or maybe they were extraordinary, I seem to vaguely recall sauteed onions and peppers mixed in) but it’s just fun to say. Service is friendly and slow, but understandably slow because the place is always packed. Be prepared to wait, but it’s well worth it.

I enjoyed the food but nothing spectacular. The portions are larger than ihop. I love how there’s a breakfast option around his area that’s served until 3pm. I wish they had more pancake options, but the regular one will do just fine.

Get the spinach quiche. Get the spinach quiche. Get the spinach quiche. Do you want quiche yet? Should I type more, or will my photo entice you more? I kid, I kid. This place feels warm, welcoming. Almost like stepping foot into a family potluck minus all of the drama. The décor speaks the same vibe too. My waitress was an absolute doll, passionate about her job, and life in general. I’d have hugged her if I could. The quiche! Rich, but light at the same time. I’ll have visions of it dancing in my head.

Quality and quantity of the food are really good. What I liked the most is the atmosphere … There is a real soul in this restaurant!
