Disappointed. Wheres the shrimp? Cold food, avo not ripe, lots of salad filler but no shrimp. Manager could care less. Wont go back.

I would actually give this 3.5 stars. For a quick meal, it’s a great place to come and feel like you are still eating somewhat healthy. I came here to try the chili lime shrimp tostada because I received a coupon in the mail. For only $ 5 I got a large fried flour tortilla bowl filled with crisp lettuce, Spanish rice, pinto beans, chopped tomatoes, avocado, and medium-sized spicy fried shrimp. It was very good. It came with a cilantro dressing. I asked for an extra dressing, but realized when I got home I was only given 1. Instead they gave me extra hot salsa, which was ok, since I like extra of that too. The drive-thru moved quickly and the staff was friendly. I didn’t get the chicken this time, however, in the past I have always found the chicken to be moist, tender, and flavorful. I will be back, especially since I have more coupons to use :-)

Service not normally associated with a «fast food» restaurant… excellent! Manager and other employees came outside twice to check on us and even refilled our water cups. Very refreshing.

Is there a NOSTAR option? August 06, 20158:00pm Pollo loco on greenfield and crown valley is just HORRIBLE. Worst service anyone can get. Ordered a simple 2 piece with double rice, when I got my order chicken was burnt BADLY! The rice was hard, told the manager who 1 was our cashier 2 had his wife there infront of him who also seems to work there(heard their kids call them mom n dad from the table across the registers). When I went to talk to him the wife was up in my face saying he was a married man and all these women working just laughing there saying all types of profanity in Spanish, all I wanted was food NOTBURNT. the response was that’s how they’re cooking up. I’m sorry chicken is not black black. Women behind the counter will stare at you, making it even uncomfortable to even sit there and eat. This is the first time I’m in here and I will NEVER come back to this location with staff like this working there. So disrespectful and rude. Or maybe they’re only this rude to Mexicans? anyways bad staff. You like your food burned to the point it’s black? Go ahead seems like it’s their specialty.

This is the most DISGUSTINGELPOLLOLOCO I have ever eaten at! If I could give a ZERO I would. This is the 3rd time I went through the drive thru and got home and found out the order was not only wrong but the chicken looked like it was cooking for housrs! BURNT, Dirty looking dried out Tortillas. I told the manager before I ordered this time that last time it was the wrong order and when I pulled up I noticed him and the staff laughing and when I went home I got three BURNT… disgusting WINGS when I ordered a Breast and a Thigh Tortillas were out of the bag and dried out… When I brought it back the manager just said he didn’t own the place and it’s not his fault… as he was laughing! First this manager should be fired!!! I was there at 9:00PM July 27, 2015 it was a male and a very un helpful person!!! Second the staff including the cook and whoever bags the food should be fired… THISWAS deliberate and they don’t care because they don’t own the PLACE! are you kidding me! The owner needs to make some drastic changes… This place is disgusting and dirty and wouldn’t advise anyone to eat there again!!! by the other comments Im not the only one who thinks this! I think the owner needs to take control and get employees who care about the company they work for! But ultimately it falls on the Owners shoulders because he isn’t watching his store enough to put the proper employees in place! HORRIBLEPLACE! DONOTEATTHEIR!!!

I usually don’t do reviews for fast food, but this one is really good. The owners have trained their employees very well. Love coming to this specific El Pollo Loco. The drive thru is always a plus. Fast service and they always get my order right.

Bought 50 bucks worth of food… the burrito was disgusting the other girl who worked here over heard and I was like no no no I don’t want anything and she brings her manager over even tho I didn’t complain and the manager comes over and pretends like she is going to pay out of her pocket for a taco el carbone… ummm really. the way she handled it was rude and a joke… hence she is a manager at ELPOLLO

I go here every few days after work. I’m a vegetarian so I request menu items that usually contain meat without meat… obviously. They’ve fudged up my order a few times but everyone is very nice and they always make things right. Most of the evening shift employees are very nice, and provide beyond the usual level of service expected from a fast food restaurant.

Standard el polo loco. I say that in a nice way because this is one of the only chicken chains I go to so its pretty much the same across the board. Very rare that I’ll give less than a 4 star. I ordered the chicken shrimp avocado tostado & it was delish. I’m not a tostada person but if they keep that one on the menu, I’ll definitely reorder it! Side note I thought ya’ll might find interesting: While I was eating my meal, I could overhear the manager on break telling a customer how this store is #7 overall(based on a combo of factors) out of 400 stores in the entire company. The owner of this location also apparently owns 24 other stores & this one is #1 out of all 25 total. So what makes me curious is the following: Why is THIS location barely holding a 3 star Unilocal rating if they place #1 within 25& #7 in 400?

I love this El Pollo Loco locaiton. I come here and order a 12 pc family meal two to three times a month. Sometimes though, like last night I’m really disappointed because it wasn’t busy when I went in. This is now what I know. If it isn’t busy don’t order anything and go somewhere else. My chicken was dried out and over cooked. The Mac n’ Cheese was all stuck together and mushy, and the cole slaw was kind of soggy. Clearly, it had been there for a while. Disappointed. Threw away $ 30, because I husband refused to eat it. It was pretty gross actually and not their usual excellent quality. Bummed.

This is the best El Pollo Loco location around. They always greet their customers with a smile. I go out of my way to go to this location just because of the friendly service. In particular, the excellent manager Jessica always has a smile and gives her best to her customers. She makes El Pollo feel like a mom and pop store rather than a restaurant chain. El Pollo Loco and Chick Fil A are in the same parking lot, but I’d choose El Pollo any day of the week! –Chris

Poor customer service: food ok. We ordered Mexican Cobb salad and chicken. My husband, who is bilingual in English AND Spanish requested pico de gallo, serrano chiles, guacamole sauce. He repeated the order twice at the order window AND again at the pick up/pay window. We get home, no pico de gallo, serrano chiles or guacamole sauce. No receipt either! I call and speak with manager(Rocio), she asked me to go back, I asked for new order of chicken since what we were given got cold. She gave me the chicken, the missing sauces and proceeds to charge me for the guacamole! $ 2.60 and no receipt AGAIN. She then proceeds to scold me that I should have asked for the missing items when we ordered. I told her, we did, three times! I get home, the guacamole is so salty, it’s inedible! Bad experience and customer service all around; will not go back or recommend to friends and family! If you go, check that your order is correct and everything is in there. It seems to be an ongoing problem, read the reviews!

Just got home from a quick trip through the drive thru. OMG, horrible dry and very cold food. Not to mention that they forgot the tortillas. I usually check my food however this time I was starving so I jetted off. My dogs had a feast tho. The manager on duty needs to step it up biggggg time. Customer Service is pleasant but food quality is way lacking. !!!

Drove through the drive thru tonight to pick up dinner. Although the customer service was above par I was very disappointed when I got home(10 mins down the hill), to find my order was incorrect! Simple order; Chicken Tostada Salad, Blackened Chicken Torta and a Mini Polo Bowl. Being distracted by the heavy accented cashier, handing me my change, I failed to check my order before leaving. I received a Grilled Chicken Salad instead of the Tostada… Being that the salad was for my girlfriend and not myself, I looked like the jerk who ordered the wrong salad. Customers, please check your orders before leaving. Employees, please check customers orders before giving them out.

Everyone knows what you’re getting when you go to a major chain and I usually won’t review one but I felt it necessary because of the amazing service I’ve always received coming to this and only this location compared to others. Staff will walk by your table checking in your meal and they might even fill up your drink for you. Ultimate customer service. Management is doing a good job here.

One-point-five, rounded up to a whopping two stars because of borderline pleasant service. * Higher-than-typical EPL prices.(Really? $ 3.74 for two bean-and rice burritos? WTF?) * A relatively unclean salsa bar. * A ladies’ restroom that definitely needs a good scrubbing. Save your moolah, fellow Unilocalers, and give this particular EPL a pass.
