Huh, lots of not so good reviews… I went here today for lunch with a coworker who was raving about the place. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and it was FANTASTIC. Fast efficient service and they were busy. New places always have a learning curve so I’d say Jersey Mike’s is hitting its stride. I live and work in Laguna Niguel and«I’ll be baaaack» :)

I was really excited that this came to the community. I do agree with some of the other posts that they are pretty slow. That’s something that can be fixed. The food is great just as it is it all Jersey Mike’s locations. I’ll keep coming back here because it’s close and I’m sure the service will get a lot better. The only reason I’m giving them three stars is because I was having my sandwich made and this lady came in and went right to the register and said I have a take-out order I called in. Usually it’s no big deal but she had like 20 sandwiches and they were still boxing them up and everything so they weren’t ready. I had to stand there and wait about five minutes while my sandwich was already wrapped and ready to go. I guess little Miss Laguna Niguel Princess had to get all her sandwiches for her little soccer party without delay no matter who was already there in the store. The employees should’ve recognized that I was there first and I only ordered one sandwich and they should’ve just got me out of there. Pretty much ruined my whole experience.

This was my second visit, my first visit was a few months back when the place had just opened and I wasn’t crazy about the place because the service seemed a little off point which I wrote off to the fact employees were new and still trying to find their way around. Customer service was better during todays visit which I ordered a veggie sandwich + chicken and it turns out their veggies sandwich is just cheese and green peppers. The sandwich artist recommended I get the grilled chicken and bacon instead and add green peppers so I decided to take her advice and I was disappointed. I was looking for grilled strips of chicken and I got some weird shredded chicken(small portion) and some bacon bits. Also their bread was like a giant puff ball and all I could taste was bread. I guess I’m just not a Sub type of person. Also, they are overpriced I feel you get more ingredients at other places. Oh well I gave it a second chance now I know for sure.

I will preface this review with that I used to eat Jersey Mikes at the Foothill Ranch location several times a week. I was excited when this shop opened, but that diminished quickly after coming here a few times. The service here is SLOOOOWWWW. I find myself repeating me order several times for the employees to understand(English is my first language). We have called in orders here, about about 3 or 4 times now either the entire order is wrong, or part of it is, effectively making the call in order process useless. There appears to be little to no management oversight at this location. The food is great as in any Jersey Mikes location but the service is downright terrible and consistently inconsistent. And for that reason, I’m OUT!

The bread is what makes a good sandwich and jersey mikes has nailed it. Great sandwiches, great staff. Ill easily eat one giant size sandwich in one sitting.

Decided to try out this location as its new in the area and I love Jersey Mike’s. The girl making out sandwich was really nice and put the sandwich together nicely, just the way I like it. Unfortunately, after we got our sandwiches I noticed that the bread was stale. It was all hard and crusty and not the usual fresh bread I am accustomed to. Crumbs were going everywhere and the top part of the bread was hard. I think because this store is fairly new and they don’t get the traffic that some of the more established stores get. I also ordered wheat bread, which is probably not as popular. I think I will stay away from this location for a bit and maybe revisit down the road.

Not bad. A bit pricy for what you get but its definitely tasty. Not quite sure if its something I’d frequent though.

We ordered sandwiches for a large group — for a fun and momentous 90th birthday lunch — and this location came through with flying colors! The Manager, Terri, thoughtfully took our order and had it prepared to a «t»! It was ready on time, accurately prepared-to-order, and our guests enjoyed the sandwiches even more than we’d hoped. Terri was generous with the condiments, as well as with other suggestions. For example, we requested that the oil and vinegar be omitted to prevent the sandwiches from becoming soggy as they sat on our table… and Terri provided us with small bottles for the table, instead. This worked well. In fact, several of our guests commented on the quality of the bread as well as the meats, and mentioned that they would keep this in mind when they had large group orders to place in the future. Kudos!

Nothing special — I’ve had better. I much prefer Philly’s.

The #7(Turkey and Cheese) is very good. Doing it «Mike’s Way» is a must. The quality of the food is great. As important as quality, the staff at this location is very pleasant and helpful. I drive further to this location because of the service. I will be back again and again.

Outstanding crew. They were polite, efficient, courteous and patient with customers. The sandwiches were fantastic too!

I have to say, if you’re interested in a basic sandwich, this is the place to come! Their meat was fabulous, and freshly sliced, and their bread looked to have a very crispy exterior and nice soft interior(I’m basing this off of my son’s sandwich). However, if you have any special circumstances, I don’t recommend this place. I try to be gluten-free, so I ordered their tub(salad). I asked for double meat & double cheese, but only got the double meat. The person taking my order was in a rush and it felt like she wasn’t interested in hearing me out(for example I had been hoping to have the salad mixed, not layered). I’m not sure I will be coming back, unless it’s to get a sandwich for my kids.

I have been here twice, and came here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend, and this location is truly disappointing. Each time I came I had a bad experience. The first time, I had waited nearly 20 minutes to be helped. By the time I got my sandwich, it had 2 things on it that I did not ask for. And to be honest, you are making a sandwich… if it’s that hard, I’ll go to albertson’s and get the items to make my own if it’s that difficult. Because of my displeasure, a employee gave me 2 coupons for a free sandwich. I figured maybe they we’re busy, or it was an off day. But the second time I went in, I remembered the coupons and had my boyfriend run in to get us sandwiches, while I waited in the car. We figured it would be quick, we had the coupons, and it would be great to take our sandwiches down to dana point for a pick nick by the beach. Well, we got our sandwiches, and they we’re ok. HOWEVER, when my boyfriend went to checkout with the cashier with our coupons, the cashier who turns out to be the manager, Terry(Terri?), than proceeded to «interrogate» my boyfriend of how we obtained the coupons, and that we shouldn’t use two. Because of the rudeness over a damn coupon that HERSTORE, HEREMPLOYEES gave us for the lack of customer service originally, clearly shows that the MANAGER has set the tone for this store. Clearly she has rubbed off on the employees, store, and now customers. I will never come back to this location, and highly recommend going to the one in mission viejo or elsewhere.

Food here is good, but service is always very slow, needing to repeat things serval times, and employees don’t know menu well. Waited over 20 mins during lunch rush. Better to come here later in day.

So I love these damn sandwiches but I hate these damn kids behind the counter! Can’t even order a sandwich without having to deal with 16 year old staff. Pablo, or whatever his name was, did not know how to manage these kids. I felt uncomfortable being in there as I felt as I was sitting at a high school lunch table. It was nice to hear their prom stories, but lets be honest, no one cares! Get to work you OC rats! I felt like I was in Shrek 2 when Shrek got turned into a human. Sucked of my own mental worth and sucked of my hard earned money. Please hire some real hard working, of-age people. That’ll do donkey, Thaat wilel dewww. Much love, Ja Bless

Was greeted promptly, restaurant was clean and well-stocked. Got the chipotle cheese steak, which tasted delicious. You can actually taste the meat and cheese. Got the white bread, which was obviously fresh: crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Restaurant can get kinda loud with kitchen prep noises. A little pricey for a sandwich, I suppose(especially if getting a cold sandwich), but paying a little more than subway is totally worth it to get food that actually tastes good. I got the distinct impression that there were way too many employees for the volume of business, so I may have had a better experience than those Unilocalers who came here when it was busy.

Came here last week thinking it was going to be just like all the other jersey mikes… I was horribly wrong first off the bread is stale… I ordered a mini and didn’t realize till I got home that it was charged as a regular sub. Called in and they said I would have to come in to get my refund. Manager was very rude and didn’t know how to put money back on a card… just like George Strait always said«easy come easy go” I’ll be going to subway.

I love Jersey Mike’s. But this location was disappointing. I really like their Roast Beef because it’s real and not the pre-packaged stuff. This location gave me the weakest portion of meat and cheese I’ve ever come across in all my years of patronizing. First off, the cheese was sliced as thin as paper. You could almost see through it. Next, the meat layer was barley visible. Usually, I split open the cut sandwich and see a nice ¼″ or so layer of nice medium rare beef. Yum! Not this time. I couldn’t even taste the meat or cheese. I will not be going back unless they get their portions right. For $ 8 bucks for a regular, I was truly ripped off. For less than that, one could get two In-n-Out Cheesburgers for a full half pound of beef. Ripped Off In Laguna Niguel…

Wow, this place is fantastic. It beats all the sandwich joints nearby plus the long wait at whole wallet next door. I love the fresh meat and bread. They will make your sandwich how you want and service is fast and friendly. Get the rewards card for free sandy’s in the future.
