I was sad to hear Jessica was no longer there, but I met Amanda and she is wonderful! She’s such a sweetheart and is amazing at what she does! This was my second appointment with her and both times I was very pleased. The first time I was there for low lights and this last time for a blow out. I’ve gotten many compliments on my hair, I highly recommend her. You will love her.

I’ve been meaning to post this update for the last month! I was initially loving my hair, due to the curls and blowout. But the details were seriously lacking! I almost called the salon to head back in for a fix but was leaving for vacay (hence why I got my hair done in the first place). I have added new pics that show my blonde highlights– or lack thereof.
The pics show my roots exactly 1 WEEK after my highlights with Amanda, where are the blonde highlights? My roots were soo visible and dark. This is seriously the weirdest thing that has happened to me, like the highlights were missing– lol.
I really like Amanda and the spa but for the higher pricing and atmosphere I expected WAY more. When she was doing the highlight she was doing as I asked, close to the root– etc., but the color just wasn’t there.
If you’re a blonde, just double check the details and don’t get lost in the blowout.

Amanda knows hair! I went to the LifeSpa for yet another part of my color correction from a bombed color job over a year ago. I had actually been hoping to find a true hair guru since 2009 when I moved away from mine. The science of hair color is something that takes real expertise — someone who understands an individual’s hair (color, texture, condition… etc) AND the color wheel. Not only was she able to color my hair the way I had been hoping for since 2009, she was also able to help me to get my hair back into good condition by recommending the correct products for «my hair». All I can say is «Wow» every time I look in the mirror and see my hair they way it used to look! I could not be happier! The LifeSpa is classy, clean and comfortable, but not just another place to get pampered, it’s a place to discover how beautiful you really can be!

Aja ROCKS! I have been getting massages with Aja weekly for close to a year now and my experience is always top notch. Aja has an amazing sense of touch and seems to always intuitively know the perfect amount of pressure for me, head to toe and week to week. Aja is always professional, on time and respectful of my relaxation time. She really knows how to treat her clients.
I’ve battled with some injuries in the past and relied on Aja to get me through another week many times. Now I’m training hard and exploring new physical peaks and the weekly service feels like true spoiling. So whether you need massage as medicine or as TLC, Aja is amazing!
The 10x package deal is the way to go for the best price and re-​occurring visits.
Spa is very clean. Reception area is comfortable and all the front desk staff are personable, professional and welcoming. (Oh, and the complimentary mango juice is out of this world!)

I decided to get my hair cut 6 weeks before my wedding and went to the salon that I’ve always gone to since I moved to South OC. The salon had a new person and he did a number on my hair and I was almost in tears over it.
I went to the LifeSpa (where I should have originally gone!) and Jessica completely fixed my hair. My hair was actually 1 inch shorter on one side and she made it even and it actually looks like it has more volume now. She is truly talented — I will absolutely go back to the LifeSpa.
It does seem weird to those who don’t understand that a spa could be in an athletic club, but they truly chose the top of the top stylists. I can’t speak highly enough about this place.

Awesome Full Day Spa! I have had 2 facials by Maria, 1 body massage by Chloe and had my hair colored and cut a few times now by Diana! I love them all and always feel special! I am never rushed or just another client and always have a great experience. It’s not cheap to have these services done, so I only go to the places where I feel I am treated well. I have been to many other salons and spas and by far I am the most happy with LifeSpa! Also, you receive 2 hours of child care included in your visit and you can use the rest of the facility the day of your appointment, all people welcome!
