Great customer service, order made perfectly and even brought to the table I was sitting at. I had finished my meal and was on my phone and one of the employees even took my tray and trash away. The future of McDonalds is here, and it’s great!

*** Pit stop review(Laguna Niguel) *** I dropped by this Micky’s D’s to get some breakfast and take a bio-break. This particular fast food chain is located in south Orange County. This is probably the most pristine McDonald’s I have EVER seen. Here’s the thing… when you go high end places and pay more money, you expect better service and a prettier environment. However, it’s interesting to see a lower-end chain look so nice! The eating area is spotless. The restroom is super clean without a single single sign of any graffiti!!! I’ve been to hundreds of places and this place stands out because it says something about both the management and the people who frequent it. I often observe people, places, and things. It makes me wonder and question why being in the center of homes ranging from $ 500-$ 1M makes things different? For example, the store patrons are pretty nice folks. I had a stupid smile on my face and someone actually smiled back. ha ha ha… Here’s what I like… * The facility is spotless! * The restroom is the cleanest I’ve seen any in a similar category of food chain. Here’s what I didn’t like… * Nothing comes to mind. Food = as expected. I like that they serve breakfast all day. Seating area = Nice new design. Super clean and organized. Service = Very friendly. Restroom = Super clean.

I like McDonald’s but they did not mention that today was closed until 10am cuz of stupid things that they don’t need to give me my food? Their was also a cute girl inside working and maybe I wanted her number but now we’re going to Taco Bell and I hope there is a cute girl there.

Wait why is Raymond writing a review about McDonald’s? It’s McDonald’s! WEKNOWABOUTMCDONALDS. Yes. Yes you do. This McDonalds, though, located in Laguna Niguel is what you might call… state of the art? So dot_ham wanted McDonald’s. I was on the 5 near El Camino Real and he told me to exit, go backwards, take another street, and go all the way around. Why there’s no direct street here, I don’t know :( Anyways Mickey D’s. They upgraded and renovated. How can you tell? It looks classy for a McDonald’s. You enter through the front and go to one of 2 computers and you personalize and figure out what you want. This is exciting. I think they have a BYO burger here that you can customize to your liking, so that’s a plus! Alas for me, all I ordered was a hash brown, which tasted like a normal Hash Brown, along with an iced water downed hazelnut coffee. They have a really fancy system that spits out typical McDonald’s food. :D

First off let me start off by saying I love McDonalds. In fact I frequent this one regularly. Today a I had a HORRIBLE experience. They completely messed up our order. They sent us to wait in the parking lot to wait. We ask for breakfast, they gave us lunch. They over charged us. They forgot our ketchup + our drinks. We had to ASKTHEM to update the receipt. We waited 10 minutes in the parking lot with no answers. I am furious. My order is still not right. I WOULDNOTRECOMMEND

Wow this is certainky not your average McDonalds. So after you read the earlier Reviews you know that this was the first of the Create Your Taste testing restaurant where you can build your own«gourmet Burgers» in a machine, pay by card and then have it made and delivered to your table in a non McDonalds-ish metal basket. The pattys are the quarter Pound ones though its cooked in Another way then the regular Burgers. You choose how many you want, choose from a number of cheeses and the pick your other veggies, sauces and other condiments. You can choose from different kinds of breads as well and the brioche style i took was really great and unlike any other McD breads ive ever had. Among the condiments is sautéed mushrooms, onions and guacamole. You have about 8 sauces to choose from where you have options thats not on any of the regular Burgers. The burger where great tasting and made with love and not like an old soggy Big Mac or similar. Im normally not a McD fan but would love this concept to come over here to Scandinavia. Service was good and we even got a complimentary ice Cream from the new«Create your own» section where you choose type of icecream and condiments like fresh strawberries, brownie bits and nuts and then pick your sauce. It was great fun as well and tasted well. Best McDonalds ever!

went through drive through like we do a couple times a month. The staff is usually messes up when it comes to orders but they always fix it without any hesitation and even sometimes offer compensation for their mistakes(they do mess up a lot). on 3÷21÷2015 i presided to order 3 fountain drinks for my family members which they all said tasted terrible. I presided to drive back to the location where the manager(Hispanic women) told me that the machine has not been working all day. I was flabbergasted and asked her if she was giving bad drinks to everyone and she responded yes. I can’t believe someone would stoop this low just to make an additional couple of dollars.

The drive thru works like any other McDonald’s but to go inside it appears to be the fanciest one ever. However to try and order is ridiculous. They have a build your own order burger but only if they help you at the correct register. They have touch screens that the employees have to help you and they are unable so you then have to go wait in line. They are trying something new but it is such a hassle I’m not going to give it another try. Update they are unable to process a value meal. Stating that the value meal is the burger only when I say I will pay for the meal I am charged an additional $ 5.71. The whole price of another meal though I’ve already been charged for the burger. Horrible customer service for me to write a review over $ 2.00. Update, worst McDonalds ever, twice this week try to get food and they are closed early and 2 nights ago the equipment isn’t working. I wish there were any other options in this neighborhood.

Love the Build Your Burger menu at this McDonald’s! I actually tried something new the last time I was in the restaurant and ordered it ‘protein style’ like I would at In N Out — they were able to do it and it tasted so good. I’ll be back to try it again…

This place has really gone up hill. It use to be a dump with nasty rude employees. They have since remodeled and hired all new staff. They are all friendly and speak perfect english. My order is almost always correct. I walked in and they had a door man. The inside looks like very upscale(for a McDonalds) it looks just the the hallways at the Flamingo in Las Vegas)

Disclaimer: I own a few shares of MCD. I heard about this«Build Your Burger» pilot program on the TV news the other night, and it sounded good, so on a recent trip to the south OC, we stopped by. So this was more of an investment analysis visit. You order your BYB on an iPad.(There’s someone to help if you’re not technologically savvy.) Pick one of their specialty builds, or customize one of your own. First, one all beef patty or two, then bacon if you like.(More meat is extra.) Then the toppings. Three kinds of cheese, guacamole, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, tortilla strips, leaf lettuce, and other typical burger toppings(including their Big Mac special sauce). It costs more than their regular burgers($ 5.79 plus tax), but hey, you’re putting on the good stuff, right? They make it to order(what, you thought they pre-made customized burgers?). Served in a wire tray and brought to your table in a short time. Service is friendly, perhaps a little more than in an ordinary McDonald’s. It tasted good. Actually, the patty was a little on the medium side. Their burgers usually seem more well done, so I appreciated this juicier patty. Toppings tasted fresh(see my pic for my order). I tried my wife’s choice with the artisan roll, and I liked it better than the bakery roll that I chose. This location looks like it’s been remodeled recently. Very upscale looking, with a few TVs around(some closed circuit channel). Advice to corporate: Love the BYB. Pair this up with the Coca-Cola Freestyle(125 drink choices!) and you’ve got a 21st century McDonald’s that America will love.(OK, I own a few shares of KO, too.) Whatever you do, though, DON’T CHANGETHEFRIES!(:))

Fast food is not typically something I post reviews on, however this experience warrants a review. I gave the experience 3 stars because I think that’s a high rating for a fast food joint. This build your own burger gimmick is fantastic ! You place your order on an iPad and you can choose from made to order options or build your own from scratch. I made a burger on an artisan roll with lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, white cheddar and big mac sauce. Honestly it could have used more sauce. But the burger was delicious! It was brought out to my table like at a regular restaurant too :) I would definitely do it again ! Hopefully the pilot program becomes a permanent thing because it was worth it.

Made to order? Fresh ingredients? Table service? McDonald’s? No… it can’t be… but that’s exactly what’s happening at this one specific McDonald’s in Laguna Niguel. While I normally don’t review chains, especially of the fast food variety, I couldn’t help but to share my experience at this particular McDonald’s with my fellow Unilocalers. It seems that the Laguna Niguel location is the guinea pig for a new«Build Your Burger» menu that may eventually be launched at McDonald’s restaurants throughout the country and the rest of the world. The menu includes three different burgers, all made to order, but I decided to build my own burger from scratch. I ordered a burger with pepper jack cheese, caramelized grilled onions, fresh tomato, lettuce and even«Big Mac» special sauce, served on top of a bakery style bread roll(see photo). Having completed my order, I went to my table with a number, and about 5 minutes later, my meal was brought right to my table. But it was more than just a delivery; the waitress actually asked if I needed anything else! Realizing I had forgotten ketchup, I asked for it, and she went and got me some. Later in the meal, she offered to go refill my drink! I was even asked how my experience was so far, and much to my surprise, I was able to respond with an «A-OK!» The burger was actually pretty damn good! Compared to the usual McDonald’s burger, this was like night and day. The caramelized onions were delicious, the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh, the burger wasn’t overcooked and the roll it was served on was good too! My only complaint was that there was a little too much of that«Big Mac» sauce, as tasty as it was. Alongside the burger were McDonald’s usual french fries and soda… I have to admit, I love McDonald’s french fries. What can I say? They may not be the healthiest choice for fries in the fast food kingdom, but I think they are the tastiest. And now, I can actually have my favorite fries served with a quality burger! I couldn’t believe that I was sitting in a McDonald’s and really enjoying a hamburger that was made to order with fresh ingredients. I was even more surprised that the server was on point, frequently stopping by my table with a friendly attitude and great service. I suppose that’s not quite as surprising, considering all the corporate suits around the restaurant, but for what it’s worth, the service was good enough that I wondered if should leave a tip! The burger itself, alongside fries and a drink, came out to $ 9.09 plus tax, which makes it considerably more expensive than the rest of the McDonald’s menu. I have to wonder if the average McDonald’s customer will be willing to pay that much for a meal for a single person. Still, you get what you pay for! The«Build Your Burger» menu is clearly of a much higher quality than anything previously on a McDonald’s menu. There are other changes throughout the restaurant as well. There are tablets for placing orders, though these might be overly complicated considering there is always an employee helping people use the tablets. The way things are now, they don’t exactly speed up the ordering process. Another change is the restaurant itself, which has a pleasing modern aesthetic. There’s a bar with stools where I saw people setting up laptops and utilizing the wifi, and the vibe throughout the restaurant is much nicer than I normally expect from a McDonald’s. There’s also an outdoor play area for the kids, and«Nintendo Zone» connectivity for 3DS users. If this location is the future of the chain, than the future is looking good. Although this was supposed to be only a 5 week trial, today I was told that the«Build Your Burger» menu will have a permanent place at this Laguna Niguel McDonald’s. Whether it is approved for the rest of the chain remains to be seen, but if you’re a hardcore McDonald’s customer that wants to be among the first to try out the new menu, Laguna Niguel is only an hour or so from Los Angeles and San Diego. They are also asking their customers to fill out feedback cards, so let them know what works and what doesn’t! Who knows? You might have an effect on McDonald’s policy worldwide! As for me? I’ll be back the next time I’m in Laguna Niguel. And in the meantime, I’ll be hoping that my local McDonald’s gets the«Build Your Burger» menu sooner than later. Made to order; fresh ingredients; table service: McDonald’s. Unbelievable, but true.
