Rite Aid

This review is for the pharmacy… always busy, always slow! It seem to take forever for the pick up counter to take care of business. I realize people have questions but it should be about meds! I went in today and usually if it’s a new script I just leave and pick it up later, not worth the wait. The gal at the new script counter acknowledged me but was at her computer and I needed her attention. I finally asked her to come over to me and asked her to at least look at a customer when they’re asking questions (needed to point out a couple I did not need). When my name was called over the pa… I couldn’t tell if I was called so asked that gal again and she said if they called your name then it’s ready… ok my question was I couldn’t tell if it was my name. She checked and said so I had to stand in line (should’ve got in line earlier! Always at least 4 – 5 people in line). I asked the pharmacist when I got to the counter who’s in charge of service because it’s so slow etc. he said there’s not enough space… hhhmm, I don’t think he understood the question. Then I explained what happened when I dropped them off… he made excuses for her. Clearly he could careless for their customers feedback. I’m calling my insurance to see if I can change pharmacies.

Always out of what I need. They usually don’t supply enough of on sale items. Plus chocolate chip ice cream is always out!

Won’t shop here but will call for chocolate chip ice cream to see if they have any. But that’s it.
Stupid me… I tied again for some items calling first as soon as I saw their sales paper. Nope, out of stock I was told try another store. I’m done with Titeaid

They really seemed to have turned this store around in the last few months. On my parents’ last visit, employee Myrna went out of her way to help them find an item. She proved that excellent customer service is possible. It is wonderful to have clerks offering help instead of disappearing.

Been going to this Rite Aid for years. The Pharmacy work their tails off trying to be as thorough and accommodating as possible. …And they have some very difficult customers! Not me of course! :) The Pharmacist even took the time to assure my very expensive med was correctly priced and even helped me get a coupon for it! Being a long time customer, they’ve even filled a prescription last minute for me and my family. Great service!
Unfortunately, the Rite Aid sales staff are just not that helpful, nor friendly. No one ever offers to assist you while shopping, and they don’t try to get to know their regular customers. I tend to go to the Walgreens in Aliso Viejo for that personal touch and my usual cosmetics/​bath products. It’s now only the pharmacy that brings me into the store.
