ABC Store

Most of the ABC stores are within spitting distance of several other locations. However, this store is by its lonesome. It has the same convince as the others, but the line can grow half way through the store at a moments notice.

This place is great to find gifts, pick up some wine, liquor or alcohol. Last minute snacks. Or whatever
The prices are not great compared to a market but compared to hotel prices, ABC is a bargain

Touristy store but it was walking distance from the place we stayed in. Definitely key in keeping my sunburn at bay by stocking up on that Banana Boat aloe vera after sun gel. Also picked up a POG Shaka Pop.

I’ve had to stop here about 5 times during the past 3 days. Not many other options around here for food and random items. I’ve picked up milk, water, wine, cough medicine, fruits, eggs, and cheese.

Bit crowded. Narrow aisles. Lots of souvenirs and tourist items. Also easy way to get gifts to bring back for example coffee or macadamia nuts or chocolates.
I like their chicken katsu musubi in the food to go section.
I like the promotion spend $ 100 get a gift. So save all the receipts.
All in all its like a super 7 eleven.

This is a small ABC store. It’s right down the street from the house we are staying at, so we have visited a few times already this week. We picked up both souvenir items and creamer (you HAVE to have your coffee after all!). They are very friendly here, and when I showed up at 6:55am this morning for creamer, they opened the doors for me (they open at 7) and greeted me like I was their number one customer. It goes to show, even with a small store, customer service can go a long way!

Good location for last minute gifts or snacks at Whalers. Tucked in a back corner so you have to look for it a bit. Decent prices for useless stuff you still feel the need to buy cuz you are on vacation. Trust me — it is NOT cheaper at the airport. Same stuff marked up 30−50%. Might do better at some stores in Lahaina but do yourself a favor, bite the bullet and just buy the stuff you «need» and some extras to avoid the stuff you’ll forget later.

They have everything here! Glad to have such a convenient store nearby! Great selection of meats and cheeses for hotel snackery! Lots of drinks including hard alcohol. Then everything you need to find great souvenirs! Our parking should have been $ 12, but they validated it and we paid $ 0! Also, gave us a free coffee mug for purchasing there! You actually got to pick a gift from a selection that included coffee mugs, calendar or tote bag.

The Husband and I came to ABC Store around 10:30pm on a Monday night to pick up some dessert to take back to our condo after having dinner at The Hula Grill on the other side of the shopping center.
I was surprised at how busy the store was for so late at night, but it’s the only store like this at the village. I don’t like ABC Stores as much as Whalers General Store because I don’t think their merchandise is of very nice quality but it does do well for snacks and drinks.
They have a ton of cheap touristy clothing all along the back wall and in the back corner. I would recommend passing this up unless it was an emergency and you would otherwise have to go naked. In the front and in the middle of the store is more touristy souvenirs and things and so I would recommend passing this up as well.
My favorite part of the store is the whole wall of refrigerated beverages along one side of the store. Nice and refreshing! I also like the couple rows of snacks and candy they have which is actually pretty reasonably priced.
There was a line at the cash register when we went to check out, but luckily they had plenty of people working that night so they called over another few employees to help get the line down. I would come back here again if I was in need of such things.

STORE: This was a pretty busy store when we went. It’s a typical ABC store always fun to walk around and see the touristy items and knick knacks. Always tempted to buy something here even though the prices aren’t the most frugal, but also not the most expensive either especially if you don’t want to waste time shopping around for better prices such as Walmart.
ITEMS: It is like a convenience store with drinks and snacks mixed with an airport tourist shop with Hawaiian clothing and jewelry mixed with a Spencer’s gift shop with humorous adult gifts like funny condoms and chocolate balls.

Typical ABC store with lots of souvenirs and snacks! They have lots of clothing items and a small selection of sandals.

I can’t tell you how many ABC store i ended up vistiting on my trip to Maui. It’s a good place get get souvenirs for people you need and the price is cheap. You can keep walking and see another ABC store in ½ miles. You can miss it. At lesat stores if you keep going. This store is so popular. The staff are nice and friendly. Store is nice and clean.

I can’t tell you how many ABC stores I ended up visiting on my trip to Maui. They always have what I need and what better place for souvenirs at a reasonable price.
This store is on the larger side but still cramped with all their filled shelves.

I believe the selection is good but I don’t agree with the prices the taxes again need to change locals and people pay so much more than they should on property taxes

Always great customer service. Nice cheap way to grab those essentials or treats while you are out and about. Always brings a smile to face to see one and great for the quick/​cheap souvenirs for the folks back in the office.

Everything is overpriced. And it’s always crowded, but meanwhile the stores shelving are just packed so close. I’m afraid to even turn wrong and break something.
The staff is usually quick when they see the line is getting too long.

I can’t help going into an ABC store no matter where they are. And they are everywhere in Hawaii. This one is located in Whaler’s Village and offers the same sundries and tourist knick knacks. It is a great place to buy your Hawaiian gift items. This store is clean and it’s also in a nice location.

ABC Stores are all the same… Or are they? This location is one Thames husband and I frequent a lot when we visit Maui.
Everything seems to be well stocked and very clean. The staff isn’t overly friendly but they get the job done.
If you’re looking for the touristy souvenirs that you need to buy for family members and friends, you can get the majority of what you want here without having to run all over the island. They have the snacky stuff, the kitchen accessories, t-​shirts, dresses, reasonable jewelry, lotions, post cards, and that kind of thing. If you’re shopping for yourself you might need to stop by for a cold beverage, chips, suntan lotion, Chapstick, medicine, band aids, or who knows, a bottle of wine!
This store is in a prime location, you can’t miss it. See you there.
