April 4, 2015. Lee that runs the electric bike rentals totally hooked us up! Pedego bikes and snorkel gear made our day stop in town off ourcruise ship memorable and right at home! Lee directed to the hot spot to snorkel with sea turtles. Introduced to POG Mai Tais and treated us like friends from out if town! A much delayed review for them! Will be back and this is a must do rental while in Maui!

Not a lot of customer service. Rented snorkel gear last week. Huge waves started, surf advisory. Took everything back to the store, told Brandon, the manager, we did not get a chance to use the equipment. No refund, no offer for a discount on the next rental, nothing. When I said next time we would rent elsewhere, manager’s response was“cool”. Pretty sure this place will go the way of the dodo. Now that would be Cool!

Good value — only about $ 25 for the week for mask(including optical masks, if you’re as blind as I am without your glasses/contacts) and fins. They throw in a little anti-fog, too.

We’ve rented from this shop several times, we probably should buy our own gear but then we’d have to shlep it on the plane. We’ve always found the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Importantly, the gear is in good shape: the seal on the masks, for example, actually seal well. Prices are a third to a half less than prices in the kiosks along the beach walk.

Decent selection but be aware. NOREFUNDS. My own fault for not seeing the sign but believe me, nobody is going to offer this info up to you when purchasing something. I was hesitant to buy the dive fins suggested to me and I believe a top notch staff would have pointed this out to someone that is hesitant. Brought the fins back and told I now had a store credit. Took me a while and didn’t see anything I needed so I settled on a dive knife. Nice to know my $ 130 dive knife could have been bought for $ 60 over the internet. Do your homework and don’t get caught paying their ridiculous and non-refundable prices when on vacation like I did. Check out Lahaina Dive Shop for a much better experience. Bought a Scuba Pro mask for 50% off and the guy told me to bring it back if I had any problems… FOR A REFUND.

We went on the Alii Nui snorkeling trip to Turtle Point. And turtles are what we saw, a whole bunch! The catamaran is brand spanking new, and sweet! It’s rated to hold 100 people, but they limit the passengers to 60. Our trip was completely booked, we lucked out and got the 2 for 1 offer, not available now. Even though 60+ people on board, the atmosphere was open and not crowded. The crew was friendly and funny. The Captain even let our 4 y/o nephew drive part of the way home! What a treat. If you like to snorkel, definately consider this trip. Book early cause it’s sure to fill.

This location is convenient if you’re staying nearby, but unless you know your snorkle stuff, make sure to get gear that fits. Natalia«helped» us, but she was very passive and annoying. We had no idea that the fins she fit my husband for were too big until we went on a zodiac and used their fins. The MDS fins were gave him blisters — great! Also, be sure to check any garments that you buy. My husband bought a shirt to wear in the water that started coming apart.

We came by here to rent snorkeling gear — all 4 of us needed something — mask and snorkel, or just snorkel, and fins. Nobody brought a credit card because we thought we were going into the water and didn’t want to have it with us, so one of us just brought cash, but that’s not sufficient, you need a credit card. Luckily, I remember my credit card info off the top of my head so we used mine and someone else paid in cash, We got all our gear down to Black Rock and then as we started to gather our stuff, I noticed that the strap on my mask was broken. For some odd reason there was an extra mask in the bag but then, that mask was slightly too large for my face, so water kept coming in. In any case, we got it to work, just not as efficiently as we would’ve liked. However, she threw in some anti fog stuff and the price was really reasonable(when compared to the other outfitters along the walkway of the hotels) so we were pretty happy regardless. Just make sure everything works before you walk away and don’t forget to bring your credit card!

I was freezing my first day of snorkeling so I came by Maui Dive Shop for a little wet suit. Nathalia outfitted me with a cool little red and black number so I felt like a hardcore waterbaby. Too bad I didn’t get to go boogie boarding and didn’t snorkel for too long. ..

Great snorkeling gears that will stay put and wont make you drink a gallon of salt water. Great Staff. You can also get your scuba diving license through them. Oh, and they are only $ 1 pricier and better than Boss’s gears.
