If it wasn’t for the layout of the bar, or the convenient access to the beach, it would of gotten 1 star for the bad customer service there. We had gotten a table to only get he menu, and the waitress didn’t come back, so we left to the bar hoping to get better quick service, and also failed on that. We have to flag down the waitress that was doing nothing but pulling out mint leaves. I guess, that is far more important than taking drink orders. If i was the manager/owner there, I would get rid of the entire staff there and rehire good looking people. You either have friendly, efficient staffs, or good looking ones to draw in customers. This one has neither.

This is located within the Marriott grounds. We rented a cabana one day and ordered lunch from it. Honestly, it was really good. We got one lunch plate and shared it. Beef and shrimp with rice and mac & cheese salad. It was full of flavor and cooked well. I highly recommend this place for a lunch stop on your lazy pool or beach days. It was served quick as well.

Rating this on the basis of what it is a convenient location to grab a bite to eat while relaxing at the Marriott ocean club.
We had the fish tacos and ate breakfast here a few days while we stayed at the property. It did take some time to get our food each time but the good thing is when you got it was freshly prepared and tasted yummy, so in my opinion worth waiting for, plus it’s convenient. Staff is very friendly and one day when u couldn’t make up my mind the staff member let me know that if I didn’t see anything I liked Starbucks next store offered other options.
Fish tacos were good and filling. Breakfast burritos were good too.

I will compare this to both what I expect, and also the same poolside bar in Kauai at the Marriott. For whatever reason, the service is slower and the food isn’t as good. Local differences. Anyway, they make the standard burger and fries, and sweet drinks. It’s ok.

Decent happy hour (s) (morning and afternoon) and generally an attentive staff. They always play the hottest sport or SportsCenter so that’s a plus. Expect a pricey drink if it’s not a beer but hey… you’re on vacation right?

Stopped here a few days while hanging poolside at the Marriott Ocean Club. They have good Pork Quesadilla and have Kona fire IPA on tap, among other things. At happy hour the brews come down to $ 3.50. Not a bad «snack» stand poolside.
