Just under 7 miles from drop off back to DT Flemings beach. There are very few places for a view so if you are expecting them like I was, you’ll be disappointed. The hike itself is terrific. Lots of easy uphill to start then you get to the one spot for a major view. Really nice. After that, there is lots of jungle and mud. Lots and lots of mud! We were going to run/hike but couldn’t run at all because of the slick trail. We passed an old pineapple plantation with non fruit bearing plants when we went by today. It’d be cool if there were fresh pineapples to taste. You think you’re finished when you see the restroom on the golf course but you’re not! Another ¾ of a mile to go! We are very experienced hikers and we finished in 2 hours.
