Really disappointed with their buffet. Roasted potatoes were dry, thinnest bacon ever, biscuit was horrible – it was falling apart, orange juice was the worst. Portuguese sausage was ok and the scrambled eggs yuck. Service was excellent and fruit selections were good. It’s not worth the $ 25 per person. 2 stars

Decent buffet food for breakfast. They’ve got a wide selection which includes sausage, bacon, sausage biscuits with gravy, pancakes, vanilla crepes, French toast, potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, breads, pastries, fruits, cakes, salmon lox, cheeses, crackers, juices, coffee and teas… et al. If you forego your housekeeping, you get a free food voucher for one person the following day but you must use it that day(the day you don’t have the housekeeping. Totally worth it!!!

Definitely meets expectations. Happy Hour pork sliders are the bomb! Chris the bartender adds vacation value. Have not had a bad thing off the menu — if you like French onion soup this one won’t disappoint. Friendly service.

We are very happy with this new fine. Light tropical breezes, great service, ocean air restaurant with fantastic small plates. Try the smoked Kona Kampachi.

Let’s put it this way, I wouldn’t travel to eat here. The only reason to go back is the convenience of it being right by the pool. 2.4 stars. Service is fine. Food is bland. Drinks are pretty weak. Ordered: Seared ahi sandwich– focaccia bread tasted stale, not enough flavor in the aioli or the fish. Fries seemed to be from a frozen bag although tasty. Fresh catch tacos — fish had ok flavor but the pico it came with was made with sad tomatoes that lacked color and flavor. The salsa had nice flavor but not enough tortilla chips. Classic piña colada — weak but not too sweat. The service is slightly redeeming of the lack in quality of the food. We went back for happy hour but honestly wouldn’t get food here again unless planning to not leave my pool chair.

Tonight I ordered pork sliders and sweet potato chips. Pork sliders were great, but the sweet potato chips were black. Earlier in the day I ordered a Piña colada and it was not like any I have ever tasted. Staff were all very friendly, the kitchen was the problem.

Excellent wait staff and delicious food. We ate here several times during our stay at the resort and have nothing but great things to say. Every dish was super fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet(and I typically run when I hear the word buffet). The food during breakfast, lunch & dinner was all phenomenal! Wait staff was friendly and catered to our requests. The Ahi Tuna Poké, prime rib and spinach salad were highlights but again, nothing we had at the restaurant was less than stellar. Prices are justified by the quality of food.

We stopped here for dessert last night and boy have we never been so disappointed. The«Best Coconut Cake on Maui» was flavorless and dry. It should be renamed to something more appropriate. At 9 dollars a slice its criminally bad. I ordered the brownie sundae. It was pre add with some odd«raspberry» hardened topping that had zero raspberry favor. I thought it was masking the flavor of the brownie so I removed it and tasted the brownie portion alone. Nope, wrong. Just flavorless. How can you execute a brownie with no chocolate flavor? Buy a box mix and make them. It’s not hard. For an upscale resort, I would hope that they could do dessert a whole lot better. Poor effort in all and it appears as if they aren’t even trying. They’ve got you here so they are going to charge you as much as they’d like and serve you sub par crap while they are at it

I ordered the pizza and it was a ‘pizza’ on a piece of pita bread. I was expecting a real pizza as there was no mention of it being the flatbread type on the menu Service was good though and they did comp me for the pizza. Came here for breakfast as well which was very good.

This is based on eating here for several meals over our vacation. Mediocre food and the slowest service imaginable. Yes, the servers are very friendly but I cannot believe how slow the service is. Two examples: My family ordered the bfast buffet, ate and went back twice before my egg and toast emerged from the kitchen. Cold by then of course. We made a dinner reservation for 5:30, early to avoid the busiest time, were promptly seated; but, then it was literally… and I kid you not…35 minutes before we were even acknowledged by our waitress. And, she was even at the table next to us! My husband insisted that we don’t signal her, as an experiment in incompetence. lol! Fortunately we are not in a hurry on vacation, and the weather is lovely… but honestly, I won’t be eating here again.

One of my favorite places to dine at the Westin Villas. Friendly staff, open air dining, and Chris, one of the best bartenders on the island! They used offer a great Ahi Poke and then they changed the recipe and it wasn’t as good. I’m back now after a year away and was pleasantly surprised to find they had tweaked the recipe again and now it’s even better than before. The Ahi is super-fresh, as it should be, combined with small chopped onion, avocado, micro greens and cabbage. Beautifully presented with some crunchy things mixed in. Lightly sauced, not overdone & delicious! A daily staple.

Food is decent and can be overpriced, but then again what food is not overpriced on the island? Breakfast buffet is average but a good option when you’re on the go. Load up on the daily drink specials! Some bartenders can be awesome and friendly. Some others can be rude and the opposite. Super clutch when I had to watch some football.

We came for breakfast on one of our mornings staying here. I ordered the salmon, tofu, avocado dish. Because I thought the tofu was an odd choice on this spread, I requested capers and Maui onions instead. It was a huge portion of smoked salmon, sliced thinly, like I like it, a wheat bagel, cream cheese, avocado, and cherry tomatoes. Great breakfast! I even have leftovers I can have for lunch or breakfast tomorrow.

Sad to say, but this place only deserves 3 stars. The mediocre score is based mostly on the service or lack thereof. We approached the hostess stand around 8:00 at night, which is late for Maui resort standards. We came from happy hour and needed food. It took about 30 minutes for our waiter George to greet us. He mentioned later that he had a bad day, not to sound heartless, but we’re on vacation. Make an effort and not an excuse. When he came around to take last call orders for the closing bar, my dad ordered a «Bikini Blonde» beer, twenty minutes later a Piña Colada came out. WHAT!!! This pretty much sums up our experience… Weird! My mom ordered coconut shrimp and broccoli and loved it! I ordered a salad, it was WAY overdressed. And my dad ordered the Short Rib loco moco, I believe it was risotto, mushrooms and short rib with a rich brown gravy over the top. By the time I strong armed the plate away from him to get a bite there was only short rib left, was decadent and as good as Roy’s restaurant. Overall, the food is good but the service is a major disappointment. I wish I could put the Ocean menu together with the Pailolo staff, then we would be on to a 5 star review!

Better than most bar/grills in the hotel areas. I had the veggie burger and it was pretty delicious.

We tried the farm to table menu and were very impressed. First course consisted of polenta with a 63 degree Celsius poached egg with a pomegranate Demi-glaze. Second course was a flatiron steak with chimichurri sauce. It was accompanied by a cauliflower purée, local multi colored cherry tomatoes. We enjoyed this while watching a lovely sunset. For resort food it was very very good. Our server, Jessica was so very very attentive. Aloha

Staying at the Westin resort, I wanted to try the property restaurants even though the reviews weren’t stellar. I admit there’s some perks associated with being an Elite property owner, which include Starwood points. Yes! I’m a point junkie, which lured me to dine here even with some mediocre Unilocal reviews. We were seated promptly with professional staff and plenty of Aloha greetings. The restaurant is setback from the ocean, so the views aren’t necessarily striking, although the resort property is eye pleasing in itself. The seating is outside, so the ocean breeze is present. We came here for breakfast and passed on the buffet breakfast, as it usually leads to gluttony and regret. I ordered the French Toast, made with Molokai sweet bread filled with coconut jam and Kula strawberries compote on the side. If you prefer your French Toast savory, stay away as this was quite sweet. I did like the thick slices of sweet bread. The coffee was excellent with a robust flavor served in a self-serve stainless steel carafe. Beware of the birds flocking the tables, so don’t leave your breakfast unattended unless willing to share. It adds to the tropical dining experience. This is a resort restaurant, so expect higher prices.

This is literally next to a pool. A nice big pool. Different vibe. Nice wooden tables. Partial roof over your head and a few umbrellas to the side. Your choice. This is more for a quick visit before or after the pool visit and is located in the south tower area. South tower is the older location of the Westin. Friendly local staff trained well by the SPG group. No monku!

Nice outdoor atmosphere and view of the pool, but way overpriced breakfast and watch out for the killer birds! Breakfast buffet($ 25)(3.25 stars) — gets you 5 – 6 basic buffet hot foods(scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes), usual sides(fruit, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, smoked salmon), and drinks. But no custom omelettes or anything. Fresh pineapple and papaya were great(but hey, no surprise, you’re in Hawaii). WATCHOUT for all these tiny, amazingly swift and clever birds that hang around all the rafters waiting to pounce on your food. The second you walk away to the buffet or leave your food unattended for a few seconds, BOOM, they pounce on your food like a B-52 bomber. Bottom line: Nice atmosphere but get ready for way overpriced continental breakfast and to be in a live game of Angry Birds(well Hungry Birds). Not relaxing.

We had eaten here before on a stay at the Westin Ocean Resort Villas. This time we had lunch on the day we arrived and it was a good meal, although pricey. My mom and I ordered quesadillas that were quite good. My husband had the guava pork sliders that he definitely enjoyed. We all had drinks — my mom and I had yummy Mai Tais and my husband a beer. We ordered a kids quesadilla for my 2 year old. The total bill for lunch came to more than $ 100 before tip. The atmosphere is very nice, located near one of the big pools on property and a little lake filled with koi fish. They do have specialty dining nights including BBQ, crab and prime rib nights. We have also enjoyed their breakfast buffet.
