Thanks to Kelly I had the BEST first Brazilian wax experience! At first I was shy but she made me feel comfortable and it was quick! It took about 30 – 45 mins. Which is pretty decent for a Brazilian (Research). I will definitely go back next month! If anyone is looking for a good Brazilian/​bikini wax in Lahaina, Plush is the place to go! I highly recommend Kelly :) Also Krizel who was at the reception at the time was also super friendly with calls, bookings and check in.

Barbie is always attentive and fun when I come in. She’s the best! She always checks to make sure my hair is exactly the way I want it and knows what styles would suit me best. Thanks Barbie! The salon is always neat and clean and everyone here is very friendly. I won’t go anywhere else!

Before going on vacation I was so busy and did not have time to get a wax before I left. Luckily I got one of the best Brazilian waxes of my entire life here at Plush. I was so skeptical going in, mainly because its a hair salon and doesn’t strictly focus on waxing which in my previous experience is the number 1 mistake people make when waxing. But to my surprise the lady who did my wax was truly an expert. (I want to say her name is Kelly but I could be wrong, she said she recently starting working there about 3 months ago but had been waxing for a long time before). Anyways, the waxing room is calm and relaxing. It is also very clean. I only use hard wax and swore away strip wax long ago. The wax they use is so amazingly gentle and worked really well with my hair type. It literally felt like someone was just pulling tape off my skin, I have had bandaids ripped off that were more painful than this entire wax.
Highly recommend, its not the cheapest but these things never are!

First off, I have never trusted a hair salon before coming here. I knew I wanted to get my hair done, but I was hesitant since I’ve always had horrible results in other places. I haven’t had my hair colored in about 5 years, so I wasn’t sure where to go. This place was the first to come up on Unilocal and all the reviews were amazing so I called up right away to make an appointment. I had no idea they would be able to fit me in the same day I called so I was planning on getting my hair done a week after calling, but they were able to get me in. Jess was my hair stylist and she was very sweet and professional. She knew exactly what look I was going for just by giving her a short description and a few pictures of the look I wanted. After about two hours, she finished my hair beautifully and exactly what I had in mind! I was amazed a hair salon actually made me happy since I’ve never had good experiences with them. Thanks Jess for everything! I will be back for sure.

I was referred to Plush by one of the gals at Napili Kai where we were staying. I went for color, highlights, and cut. It is the first time while I have been on vacation that I stepped out to have my hair done so I was a little anxious at first. Well, there was no reason for that at all! For starters, I called the salon on Sunday when they were closed and left a message. Tiana called me first thing Monday to follow up and set up an appointment. I went in later that morning. The salon was clean, open, airy, friendly, and is in an easy location to access and park. My appointment was with Jess and she did not disappoint. I love the color, highlights and cut she gave me and I have received compliments since returning home. I told my husband that now we need to go to Maui more often so I can get my hair done :-).
Thank you Tiana, Jess, and Plush for a really nice experience.

Went here for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting Collin, who has come highly recommended by several people here on island. His work speaks for itself and is truly a master at what he does. He’s a real character but nonetheless a gentleman from TX. I was sad to hear (once I found someone who can cut my curly hair without making me look like a Loofa) that he will be moving onto his next endeavor in the barber shop world. I wish him nothing but the best in all he does and who knows, there might be a day when I walk into the barber shop asking for a fade, cut in and/​or flat top just like Kid in Play! ;-)
Keep up the spunk, I dig your style and who knows, maybe one day our paths will collide (flat top or not!)

Just got highlights and cut done by Jill and couldn’t be happier. I was worried I wouldn’t find a hairdresser I trust in maui but Jill did a great job! She’s also super sweet! The salon in general is very nice, clean, and welcoming. Definitely going back during my stay here!

Just had a life changing experience with my hair! After 2 years of great haircuts & colors from Tiana, I finally let her do a Brazilian Blowout. Wow — best thing I ever did — Thank You Tiana!

Great customer service, professional aspect to the environment and great updo service. I took my friend for her first time at getting dolled up for prom. I am happy to say it’s not going to be her last time visiting Plush. We both plan on coming back! I would recommend more seating area for people in the waiting area but overall we are stoked with our choice in salons. Mahalo

I was referred to Veronica by my colorist at another salon in the area. This review is for waxing services by Veronica. Two words, The Best. I have lived in South Florida, Miami (land of the Brazilian Wax) and San Francisco. Great services available in both cities. Veronica gives them a run for their $$. Professional, Fast, Courteous and Thorough. Look no further, trust me!

I have had a shaved head for most of my life. I decided to grow out my hair one day and had no idea what I was going to do. I went into Plush Beauty Lounge and had my hair cut by the owner, Tiana. She asked me all of these questions for the initial consultation, which I had no idea what I wanted. So, I said just have fun with it.
The results, spectacular! I will go back to Tiana every time I get my hair cut. Thank you so much for the awesome cut:)

I had a special event and couldn’t find anywhere to get my hair done on a Sunday. Tiana, the owner, opened up the salon special for me on a Sunday! I’m very impressed with their customer service! And my hair looks amazing!

I absolutely love Veronica, she is one if estheticians at Plush. She is always so sweet and makes you feel comfortable. I’ve been going to see Veronica for a few years now and would not go anywhere else. She is very busy so schedule in advance. Her prices are so reasonable!

NEWS FLASH!!!
Sadly, ‘my’ Ivy is no longer at Plush. The Ivy I really love is now at Art & Soul, just over on Dickenson street!
The owner of Plush emailed me tonight (I had put a 1-​star rating on this update, as in ‘boo-​hiss, Ivy has moved’) so I am updating this to a 5-​star rating so it does not ‘harm’ Plush.
Here is the scoop: Plush hired a new person named Ivy (so this might get really confusing)…but I previously reviewed the Ivy who moved to Art & Soul salon. I just want to clarify because I think a lot of people read my posts (along with others) and booked with Ivy Campbell as a result.
Plush is a great salon, and I’m sure the new Ivy is great! ;)
