I could’ve gotten over the $ 5 diet Cokes if the burgers had at least been good. Mine was so well done I probably could have used it as a discus and thrown it to Molokai. The shrimp rolls somehow were overdone and dry and completely fell apart after one bite. Plus, we waited around 25 – 30 minutes for the food to come out of the kitchen because they were«backed up»…at 9 o’clock on a Sunday night. One of the few very disappointing meals we had on our honeymoon– would never go back.

We had a food credit while staying at the joint hotel and also came here for breakfast everyday as it was free with our room. The steak fries were good and most of our servers were pleasant. That’s about it. The breakfast buffet was nothing special and birds kept flying in all the food areas. We both got stomach sick.

I don’t have a lot to say about this place, I have only had the chance to eat here once. It is outside on Maui, near the beach and pools with plenty of scenery to look at like flamingos… My wife and I had food and drinks after our wonderful spa treatment. We sat down and had some fruity drinks which were good and the food was very good. My wife had the Chop Chop Salad and I had the Tex Mex Burger — both of which have pictures posted for your viewing pleasure. We both enjoyed our food. The service wasn’t the greatest but we enjoyed our time here… Aloha!

Got back to the Westin late from cruising around Maui. Decided to grab a quick bite from Relish Bistro(we should have gone elsewhere). Wasn’t super crowded and we were seated quickly. Service was beyond slow. WOW so slow! Ordered the dynamite fries, Thai BBQ chicken pizza and Cobb salad. Fries came out and were really good. Interesting flavor almost like teriyaki sauce. When our other food came out, my pizza was hot and had good flavor. Wasn’t amazing, but good maybe not quite like CPK quality. Crust was good. My wife ordered the salad, which came with their sherry vinaigrette. The vinaigrette looked like turkey gravy and of that consistency. And the flavor was nasty. Salad was a huge pile of lettuce and other leafy greens. A few pieces of some meat, some chicken, a few slices of boiled egg and a little pile of blue cheese crumbles. When our waitress finally came by, we asked if we had the right dressing, she looked at it and said«oh no!» And went to exchange it for the right sherry vinaigrette. She came back and said that it was indeed correct(apparently no one knows what it should be??) and we asked for something else, settling on a balsamic vinaigrette. It came out with near same consistency and color but with a ton of oil in it. How hard is it to mess up salad dressing? We explained this when our waitress returned and asked for the bill. She offered to remove the salad, which was kind since it was really bad. Hard to believe this is the Westin’s main restaurant. Selection wasn’t amazing and service was terrible. Bottom line: unless this is your last option available, skip it. Drive 3 minutes to Lahaina.

Great hotel restaurant. First day here got in about 5 and still had time for lunch menu. The fried calamari was amazing to start off with! For entrée got the fish and chips, another amazing meal.

People in Hawaii on vacation need to get a grip — buffet food is never great unless you are spending top dollar on the buffet. And your dining outside by the pool of course there are birds insects etc. With that said good service — I came here for lunch –food was great –tropical monkey drink(add choco) was freaking amazing. Calamari great — nachos great classic relish burger awesome. (to clear things up I am on vacation in Maui) see Jackson good server.

We ate here for their breakfast buffet while staying at the Westin. The variety of selections was adequate. The BIGGEST issue is the amount of birds that swarm the food area and will start eating scraps on and around the buffet food items. Finches, myna birds and doves. It’s ridiculous! The finches will even eat food off of the serving utensils. Anything not fully covered, don’t eat it! The myna birds even eat cream cheese/yogurt as those types of items were not fully covered. And the workers don’t do anything. Not sure how this passes health inspection but they probably only stay in business because it’s the primary breakfast place in the hotel.

Our waiter Jackson and cook staff are attentive. We have a dairy allergy in our group and they took care in making the meals for the 3 times we dined here. We had burgers and fish/chips. They made tempura fried fish almost as good as Da Kitchen but with smaller portions. This is a great family friendly place to get a quick bite without leaving the resort for other top Unilocal spots in Lahaina.

We ate here two times. Once at the more casual side where we got burgers and fries. We thought the burgers were really plain, but enjoyed the fries and drinks. Then, we ate on the side where you can eat right next to the beach and get more upscale menu items. The view was amazing, but service out there is a little slow because it is separated from the rest of the restaurant. I got poke and flatbread which was just okay. However, my husband got the steak and it was so yummy. It was good, but I wouldn’t rush back when we go back to Maui.

This is the Relish that is poolside, not that oceanside one. Apparently, there are different menus and happy hour times based on if you go to Relish poolside or oceanside. Food: 1) Ahi Tuna Tostadas: After having poke at Tamura’s, Foodland, and the fishmarket, the tuna on this tostada just don’t seem as fresh and good. The texture and taste was just not there. It was also $ 17, and there were only TWO small tostadas. Expensive! 2) Kalua Pork and Pineapple pizza: This was pretty good! The kalua pork had good flavor and the crust was thin and crispy. In hindsight, we should have just ordered two pizzas. 3) piña colada: wasn’t that great, I’ve had better. Service: Sparse but they were nice. Ambiance: Dinning poolside was relaxing. I’m sure dining oceanside would have been even better. You see the pool and hear the waterfall, so it can be kinda loud. Price: Very pricey! We only ordered 3 things and it ended up costing us $ 45! I wouldn’t have mind if the food was really good quality… but that wasn’t even the case. Overall: I don’t think I’ll come back again. It was just convenient to eat here but I think I’ll venture out of the hotel for a good meal next time.

We came on Sunday to watch the NFL games, and while it was crowded, the service was attentive and quick, and the food was excellent. I had the eggs benedict and a bagel, and they were pretty tasty. It’s pricey, but that’s the price to be paid for convenience to Kaanapali.

We’ve had great experiences here for breakfast and lunch. With a toddler in tow, convenience is key, and we are so glad that we can get such high quality food right at our hotel. They treat the keiki really well: for breakfast, she eats free from the buffet with the purchase of one entrée. For lunch, they give her a pack of Crayola crayons and a menu to color on. Service is generally pretty good though we’ve had a variety of experiences. Here’s the breakdown of our food: BREAKFAST Banana pancakes: Very large, light and fluffy, served in a set of three. Could feed 2 – 3 people. Ask for coconut syrup to make it a true island experience. Greek yogurt parfait: Exceptional. We all loved the passion fruit pearls — the flavor was much more intense than any other popping boba we’ve had. The yogurt itself was very rich and creamy — tasted like dessert. The granola was also quite good with a tropical spin — dried blueberries(OK, not so tropical, but I was so glad they weren’t raisins), pineapple, mango, and coconut. We ordered this every morning because it was so good. French toast: Yummy and special to the islands since it’s made with sweet bread. Ask for coconut syrup. Breakfast buffet: I wouldn’t order this at almost $ 30 but the child ate for free. Her favorite? Hands down, the Portuguese sausage. We had to go back 3 times before she finally called it quits. Too bad they only had it on the buffet one of the three days that we ate there. LUNCH Loco moco: Heavy and filling. Tasty but the hamburger meat was a bit on the dry side. I’m not a huge fan of this dish in general just because it is so heavy. Spam musubi: I’m a bit of a snob so I would pass on this version. It wasn’t served warm. Saimin: Noodles were a bit too soft but all the fixings were great. Mochiko chicken sandwich with Okinawan sweet potato salad: This was good but I felt like it could have been executed better. The steamed bun was too thick and the chicken was not falling apart tender. I liked the purple sweet potato much better than normal potato salad but it was very filling — we couldn’t finish it. FROMTHEKIDSMENU Turkey sliders: We ordered this twice. The first time it was exceptional, tasty and juicy. The second time it was on the dry side. Bread was good. Quesadilla: Nothing too exciting but decent. The rice and beans were surprisingly flavorful. All in all, we were happy to have this as our most convenient option.

THISISTHESINGLEWORSTMEAL I’VEEVERHADINMYLIFE. I ate at Relish tonight and am running the Maui Marathon — I can’t even describe what a horrible decision it was. It is a complete travesty that the Westin promoted the buffet dinner there prior to the run. At $ 26 for dinner, this is what I had: 1) Chicken that was very pink in the middle 2) A baked potato that was literally rotten inside 3) Pasta that was not actually cooked(seriously, hard pieces of pasta in the dish) with no seasoning whatsoever 4) Flies swarming the salads The waiter also asked for a drink order and then never actually came back again until I literally waved him down to point out the rotten potato. I actually now am seriously concerned about food poisoning prior to the marathon and am actually considering trying to throw up what I ate. If you are considering eating here, I implore you to RUNAWAY!!! There are tons of better options nearby and I really wish I had done the same.

Breakfast and Lunch were delish. You cannot beat the view and the Loco Moco. The macaroni salad from the loco moco was so good, I had to order extra each time. The nachos had shredded chicken, which was surprising, as usually the chicken is chopped. The shredded chicken was very tender. Dine or Dash? I will Dine again, should I return to the island. Do yourself a favor and order extra macaroni salad. Then send me a picture…

If you read my review of Relish Oceanside, you’ll know that it was a disaster. But Relish Burger Bistro, which is essentially the same place(again, not Relish Oceanside) earned a much higher rating. Here’s why: Pros: Breakfast buffet was good. The proximity to the beach and the view — all good. The service was too, for the most part. Omelette! It is the best thing here. Rest of it is just okay. Cons: Breakfast buffer could’ve been better. No pancakes? Downer. Birds fly into the food area. They are apparently hungry too. A tad inconvenient. Two dining options: ocean side or at the burger grill. Gotta walk through the bathroom area if you’re on the ocean side property. Scrambled eggs tasted like they were there for ages.

Limited menu for being at such a nice resort property. Three burgers were $ 50+. Better options next door at the Whaler’s Village area. It’s great for poolside snacks and beverages but be prepared to pay higher than ballpark rates for average fare.

The food is great! It’s an outdoor eatery next to the pool at Westin Resort and Spa. You can park at the hotel or you can get lucky and find beach access parking. I’ve eaten the breakfast buffet many times and it’s usually the best one to go among the locals. it’s your standard breakfast fare with an omelet station. Now for the actual restaurant for their actual food. It is pricey but for a hotel restaurant it’s not terrible. Spicy Ahi Poke Tostadas — for the tourist please keep in mind that the style of this dish is raw. poke(poh-keh) is chopped raw fish with garnish depending on the style. they give you four pieces. good amount of fish on a dish with great flavors! Da Classic — Kobe beef cheeseburger with your choice of topping served with fries. They cooked my burger the way I like it and the mushroom and sautéed onions made it perfect. What’s great is that kid’s meals are free with adult purchase! My parents had the chicken katsu curry and bento box. The food looked great and they seemed to like it. Everything was eaten to say the least.

I LOVETHEIRBREAKFASTBUFFET! hahah and one more thing, TROPICALMONKEY! Once I learned about Tropical Monkey(alcoholic drink — chocolate banana, to sum it up), it was the onlyyy drink i would order. I even got my friends hooked on it. Shannon the bartender was amazing and very accommodating. I would always asked for extra chocolate on my Tropical Monkey. Their LOADEDNACHOS were soooo goood! As well as their AHITUNATARTARE both in a pupu section i believe. The bar area is a really nice place to chill at. They even have tv at the bars if you wanna watch sports and an even bigger screen next to the restrooms! That screen is great for games! It was AWESOME! Now about their breakfast buffet. I haven’t been soo full in soo long! They had a ton of fruit options! I LOVEMYPAPAYAS! They even have salmon, if you wanted to make your own salmon bagel with cream cheese and onion. There were sooo many varieties of food! I could go on foreverrrr. I loooved their korean fried rice! I would always get a scoop of that every time i went back to the breakfast buffet. They have an egg stand where the cook can make whatever type of eggs you want. Of course, I would get the omelette and add my own bacon from the hot foods area. Their pastries are very moist as well, just the way I like it. The service at relish burger bistro is great!

Is it affordable? No Is the service fabulous? No Is it conveniently located near Kaanapali Beach with more healthy options? Yes When a burger costs $ 17, you know you’re in for a pricey lunch. But with limited options and convenience a big factor when you’re covered in sand, Relish Burger may be your best bet. The salads are large with fresh ingredients and there’s a wide range of hamburgers and chicken burgers with different additions(avocado, mushrooms, sautéed onions, etc) to choose from. Great gluten-free buns are also available. The service wasn’t as impressive the second time we went as different parts of our order were mixed up(but then later corrected). Overall, the food was good and better than many of the other options walking distance in the area. Maybe not quite worth the price, but they can demand a higher premium when beautiful Kaanapali beach is just steps away.
