Beautiful park with BBQ stations, shaded tables and great beach. We swam with 4 turtles less than 6 feet from shore, amazing snorkeling too!

Great place to snorkel and see turtles. December 24, 2015. Pleasant beach and not very crowded. Not slot of parking but worth whatever it takes.

Came to visit Maui in February 2015. We just pulled over on our way to the airport to go home to get one more chance to watch the whales. and were pleasantly surprised to see HONUHONUEVERYWHERE! :) Not sure if the honu are always there or not, but the views from the beach are spectacular! I’m sure the sunsets would be epic. LOVEMAUI!

Beautiful beach with calm waters and soft sand. Not a lot of wave action so you can chill and enjoy the views. Palm trees swayin, light breeze and not many people on the beach = heaven. Mahalo and Mele Kalikimaka, Kama’aina

Wahikuli Park is a pretty long and narrow stretch of beach along Honoapiilani Hwy that fronts the Lahaina Post Office and goes north towards Kaanapali and a bit south towards Lahaina. There are restroom facilities, showers and charcoal grills. It’s pretty good for body and boogie boarding though the area south is all rocks. The sea floor drops pretty quickly from shore so it’s not recommended for little ones. Being so close to busy Hwy 30, some parts can be super noisy with tons of cars whizzing by. You still get the killer sunsets though.
