I had a 60 min. deep tissue massage. It wasn’t the best massage I’ve ever had but it was pretty good. Nice staff and nice masseuse.

Tried to book online, each time slot said to call. Called and left a voicemail. Called two more times later that day. Never heard back.

Fabulous! My husband and I had a 90 minute deep tissue couples massage. Best massage ever from Michele and Kawika!!! Going back again on Friday.

Overall the first non deep tissue I had was 4 stars from a female masseuse, The no stars for the bad and somewhat harmful deep tissue massage was from a male masseur. I should start by saying that I operated as a licensed masseur for five years at a health club working with a sports physical therapist when younger and have had at least a couple of hundred deep tissue (rolfing etc) massages. I told the masseur before we started I had an old injury where I broke a rib. He then proceeded to do a chiropractic compression (pressing down until you hear a crack.) and strained some cartilage.
As a massage therapist you have to be very specific with the person you are massaging and listen and ask. On the receiving end you have to take control and if you feel something bad is happening make sure it stops; no matter how embarrassing that is. One size fits all is not ideal for massages and never for deep tissue. I would stick with the other offerings here and if you want a the a little more pressure somewhere ask for it.

Having found and read about this place on Unilocal, I already knew that the fact that it was in a strip mall was nothing to worry about. My husband and I booked a couples lomi lomi massage. We had Kelly and Breezy as our therapists and they were both AMAZING. I wish we would have booked the 90 instead of 60 minutes because it was so relaxing and felt incredible. We both had some knots that needed some work and both ladies did a great job at working them out. We are here for 5 more days and I’m already considering booking either a facial or another massage at the end of the week before we head back to reality! I definitely recommend Zensations if you want an amazing massage experience without the big hotel prices!

The staff is really nice and the rooms are soothing. Great therapists! Have been here on two separate trips to Maui and loved it both times.

My husband and I were gifted massages for our honeymoon. Let me just say we were blown away with just how amazing our massages were! We both workout regularly and usually have sore muscles. We were excited when they offered deep tissue. The gal I had Jackie was incredible at reading my body. The pressure was firm and she worked on my knots but never too hard. It even was relaxing. Might be the first time I’ve had a relaxing deep tissue massage. I didn’t really know it was possible. My husband is very strong and his gal Amy was able to really get into his muscles. Both ladies were very professional and very good at what they do. HIGHLY recommended.

spa massage cost closer to 200 for one person. this place offered couple massage 60 min for 189 which is not bad compare to other massage place in most of high end hotel. the massage was pretty good good enough for me to relax for my trip. however, i gave four stars rather than five stars bc the quality of massage is not up to a really good massage place in Mainland but considering the price and the quality of massage we got it was not bad at all.

Super experience. A charming little spa, perfectly decorated. Treatment rooms have pleasant music, tinkling water features, and luxurious linens. Emily was friendly, skilled and very professional. I have some range of motion issues and a recent surgery and Emily was very careful to make sure I was comfortable by checking in with me verbally and also just being in tune with my body’s responses to her treatment.
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because the spa is just a reception area and two (I think) treatment rooms — no steam room or hot tub or meditation room. A larger and more corporate spa might have those features, but I loved the small, intimate feeling of this little spa. I highly recommend.

So glad we consulted Unilocal while looking to book massages. Odd location, fantastic place. We had a couples massage (with prenatal for me) and both absolutely loved it. What a find!

My husband booked this — and I thought «strip mall» YUCK — but THIS was outstanding. In fact, one of the best massages I have had… and I have had many. We did a «couples» massage and his was deep pressure, but I had a Bliss Maui… Therapist was Amy — ask for her… you will totally enjoy! (My husband’s therapist was Kelly and he liked her as well — but I’m writing the review!)

Started my vacation in Maui with an Amazing Lomi Lomi massage and facial! Spa is clean with serene décor and nice facilities. Great price and friendly service — I will definitely be back!

This place was everything people write about. Affordable, clean, great massage. Yes, would I have liked to go into a relaxing room after and take a nap. Yea, but this place delivers on everything promised.

The room was quiet, comfortable and calming. Definitely would recommend this for a couple or to anyone wanting an excellent massage.

If you’re on Maui, this is the only place to ever have a massage! From the warm welcome to the massage to the final adieu, this is one relaxing and wonderful experience. My deep tissue masseuse (Amie) demonstrated skill, sensitivity, and a keen interest in addressing a lower back issue. I left there feeling 1000% improved.
For those interested in an off resort experience, you can’t do better than Zensations! (For the record Zensations is better than any on resort massage I’ve ever had – and I’ve had a few.) The rooms are beautifully decorated and they’ve got that special spa feeling. But the beauty is that you’re supporting a local Maui business that really cares about its clients.
Every time I return to Maui, I’m booking a massage at Zensations. It’s so good I recommend the 90 minute session.

Don’t let the strip mall fool you, this place is fabulous! My husband and I did the 90 min Maui Zen couple session (AMAZING deal! Jump on this, people) and have no regrets.
The staff was really friendly when we arrived and quickly showed us back to our room. We each enjoyed our massages, the reflexology, and little facial. My husband said it was the best massage he’s ever had!
We stay in Wailea when we’re on the island and it’s worth the drive and we will be back!
I wish we could remember both of our ladies names (I think one was Bailey) because we would definitely recommend them.

Unilocal’s description for what a 2 star rating is exactly what I experienced here. I’ve had better. MUCH better. My girlfriend and I got the 90 minute Maui Zen Package and what we received was a very small portion of what was described. I felt like there was no variety in their massaging technique. To rub our necks and backs, they used the same 3 motions over and over again. The «foot reflexology» was just them doing small squeezes to the toes and the bottom of our foot that lasted a whole… maybe 5 minutes? They spent almost no time massaging our faces. It was really just them applying moisturizer.
What was also annoying was how many times they rubbed oil all over our hair. After every massage motion around the neck, they would run their fingers through our hair and scratch our scalps and repeat. By the end of our massage, our hair was so greasy it looked like we had just gotten out of the shower and it never dried. If you go, make sure that you have no plans afterwards because you would not look presentable in any way shape or form.
This was a nice establishment with very friendly staff, however, their massages really fell short for the hefty price we paid. I would not go again or recommend.

Zensations Spa has earned their five stars! I found this place based on the Unilocal reviews, and booked online for the best deal. Husband and I had a 90 minute Double Bliss Maui Zen package, which included the massage, a coco-​mango facial, lavender hand reflexology and mint foot reflexology. I was feeling just a tad guilty during my massage, believing that my masseuse Michelle was the BEST (therefore my husband could not possibly be getting as good a massage as I was), but our consensus when we were done was: A) it was the fastest 1−½ hours of our lives; and 2) we both had the most amazing massages.
I would highly recommend this spa.

We booked a Double Bliss Maui Zen package which included a coco-​mango facial massage, lavender hand reflexology and revitalizing mint foot reflexology. Zensation was so relaxing and fun. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but inside it is pretty nice. They were professional and accomodating. I gave the guy a heads up about all my disgusting bites/​welts so that he wouldn’t think I had some skin problem. The oils actually helped soothe them out.
Really relaxing and way more affordable than the massages offered at our hotel and on the beach.

My husband and I got a couples massage. He did the Lomi Lomi which is the swaying technique using all forearms and I got the island escape which had an exfoliating scrub, rose facial and massage. ($ 260 for 90 minutes)
The massage beds were warm, the oils they used were warm and felt SO good and the masseuse knew what she was doing!
