Sondra’s of Lake Arrowhead

Bought the cutest casual tops, necklace and matching bracelet, and heart shaped compact mirror. The accessories you can find at Brightons but I’ve never seen tops like what I bought here. I’m casual/​active/​lacy all rolled into one if that makes sense. Some of the clothing items in this store reminds me of Marshall Rousso, which I tend to like their short/​petite jackets. Nicki helped us and she was very helpful, fun, and friendly. I felt like I was shopping with a girlfriend. My poor hubby was annoyed though, understandibly. I did find a lot of their clothes to look «more mature», but I was able to find 2 cute tops here that I’ve never seen elsewhere, so I definitely will shop this store every time we are here in Lake Arrowhead!

I recently bought a beautiful floral blouse to wear to my daughter’s rehearsal dinner. I got so many compliments, it helped me decide to stop filling up my closet with cheaply made, inexpensive pieces and invest in quality, signature items.
Also, under the same roof is Tattle Tails… which has great kid clothes. So I can shop for myself and my granddaughter in one trip.

I used to love this store about 7 years ago and have spent hundreds of dollars there in the past. I remember when her store was in it’s original location in the village where Papagayos is now. Then for some reason, Sondra started buying really matronly, out of style clothing. I did voice my opinion to her and she explained to me that that is what sells in Lake Arrowhead. Apparently the affluent up here do not dress in hip, trendy clothes like I do, so that is whom she is now gearing her clothing line to and has lost me as a customer. All I can say is her clothing is now a big yucko.

Pretty great if you’re looking for that sparkly, rhinestone-​covered, faux fur trimmed clothing that some middle-​aged ladies go crazy for. This is in the same shop as Tattle Tails but is to the left when you walk in instead of the right. I look forward to dressing in this kind of age specific style when I’m in my 50s and wanting to look hip.
