— BBQ chicken mini meal: I didn’t finish; like I said, big portions of chicken. It was a little oily, but was pretty tasty. The chicken was tender and easy to cut, which was nice. And the macaroni salad was good, would’ve been better if it was chilled more though.
SERVICE & PARKING /​/​Sunday afternoon parking was pretty easy to find and close. There was only one cashier so the line moved kind of slow. I went to get a smoothie from juice it up and came back and still had to wait a while. Overall, decent.

Terrible service. Food took 30 minutes. When I asked if they could put the game on the lady at the register said she couldn’t change the channel unless I told her the exact channel. Just trying to watch the playoffs and they didn’t even give one attempt in changing the channel. Ridiculous never coming again

Terrible service very rude lady up front being disrespectful and not even acknowledging us. We asked her to change a channel and told us not gonna happen when no one else was in the restaurant. And it took forever to get our food never again!

Love the food so that’s the only reason I’m giving it a 3 star but I came here he other morning and the cashier girl had made a mistake on the previous order before me. Well as soon as she was done taking my order I stepped to the side and over heard the manager YELLING at the poor girl about the mistake. It was nothing to get mad at her about but he just kept yelling. It’s just very unprofessional to do that with customers still in there and especially the way he was yelling at her.

Place is pretty good! It’s not the best but it has it’s perks. For one, the have little specials during the week. So I believe it’s mon-​thurs… They have buy one get one free on certain items. My favorite is the spam masubi!
As for the actual meals, sometimes they’ll give you a full tray. While other times they give you enough. I say enough because I’m okay with eating a little. But still. I feel like it should be the same amount every time.
The employees do not like to smile. Very straight faced. Sometimes they even look like they hate their job. It’s just be nice if people smiled because then it’ll feel welcoming and people might actually go there more often. Also, service is on the slower side. It could be because there’s only one chef in the back. Other than that, everything’s okay. I haven’t had any issues with food tasting bad. Everything always tasted just right.

The wait was a bit long but the food is great! Big portions and cooked good! I would come back again if I’m in the area.

Wow, hands down the slowest restaurant on the planet serving «fast» food. 30 minutes after ordering and they still hadn’t started my order!

Coming here for 5 years but i haven’t been here since November 2015, love it then and not sure now after reading recent reviews. Not sure why it took me so long to review this place. Back then Great service, great food, atmosphere was good and the restaurant was clean. If you have not tried their katsu chicken, it’s a must, it is yummy! I also think that the price is super reasonable. It looks like they were pretty busy most of the time i have been there, so I am surprised they closed so early. I was there at about 8:55 p.m. I wasn’t aware that their kitchen is closed at 8:45 p.m. and the restaurant is closed at 9 p.m. I will go there in near future and review again until then for my last experience this is what i got for you:

Whoa. Ok, a couple years ago this place was great until a few employees ruined the business and now a new owner is totally ruining it.
The family meal option for short ribs was always 5 pieces. Now it’s only 3. The rice and Mac is not overstuffed into the container but just merely over half way line.
Food taste became bland. The laulau used to be good and the chef totally burnt it! Today I gained some muscles in my jaw chewing through that toughness.
Service is alright. Over the phone they sound rude but at least I person they smile :)
The place smells. It’s worse now than ever before.

Food was okay, a little bland. It did make me feel a little sick however. Girl working at the front taking orders is totally rude. Rolling her eyes and acting like we were stupid for the questions we had about the menu. Won’t return.

Love this place. Food is good and a great value. The owner is great and staff is always welcoming. I wish they were able to keep the riffraff out, who abuse the place, but it seems to permeate throughout this city.

Never been to a food place that smelt so bad. You walk in and it hits you with a strong sewer like smell.
Lady who took our order was really nice.
Meat is nothing but fat so be sure to ask them to trim it. Food was decent tho.
Also extremely slooooowwww service. They definelty didn’t seem like they could handle a big crowd.

My family and I have been here a few times. The first couple times were good, but they’re a little expensive. The last time we are here, which was today, the chicken was very dry and the person making our musubi wasn’t wearing gloves. Really unsanitary if you ask me. Debating on returning or not.

Came in and walked out immediately. The place smelled like dirty feet and cleaning products. Wanted to try some good hawaiian bbq but was really disappointed when coming into the restaurant.

Don’t get the Seafood noodle soup. It was dissapointing. The piture had abundant fish, large scallops, white noodles, and neatly atranged veggies. The soup had orange noodles, scallops the size of my pinky fingernail, and a scarce amount of fish.

I witnessed the owner of this establishment to be considerably abusive to employees. This is a place we stopped at during our trip to visit a friend. This place smells awful, the food was mediocre, and i couldn’t help but feel that the Manager is NOT doing what he is supposed to; Let alone doing anything. I am a manager myself and I would NEVER discourage my employees as the manager of this establishment has. In front of customers no less. I do not recommend eating at this location. I was sincerely put off my meal from the smell, and the horrific atmosphere.

If you are going to go here get the chicken bowl or chicken and rice with teriyaki sauce I got it today and it was really good!

The owner of this location is unlawful to his employees, and completely and totally rude. Probably why the place smells, and service sucks. If you have a good relationship with your employees and don’t ruin that relationship you would have an awesome running buisness. But instead… this guy Bön, is completely doing this to himelf. Have respect, or get out of the buisness.
Btw, he threatens employees. This place really does smell like ass, I think he needs to be given a reality check. I’m a manager myself and I wouldn’t even think of doing half the crap he does to his staff to mine. It’s not how running a buisness works.

Never again second day in a row I ask for milk tea boba yestarday after 15 min they said they had no boba got money back today u asked do you have boba they said yes after watch for my drink I get my drink again no boba

LOVE the chicken Katsu! That’s all we order now, with rice and mac salad! If you are a fan of mac salad (the real Hawaiian way) then you will love it at this place!
The terriyaki sauce is yummy and the hubby loves their Katsu sauce as well. I don’t care for it anywhere so its not that I don’t like theirs, I just plain don’t like it!
The service is pretty quick, and yes its high school kids that work there so don’t expect the greetings and attitude of a sit down restaurant! We go a couple times a month, and we thoroughly enjoy it!
It’s not like being in Maui, but its the closest thing to it in Lake Elsinore :)
