I am disgusted by their service and lack of professionalism. They charge you a fortune for an alright pizza and they can care less if your order is wrong. We watched one of the employees walk out from behind the counter, sit his butt on the table where we eat from, start drinking beer and then said out loud, he wasn’t making anymore pizzas because people are jerks. My husband was standing there waiting for our phone order that they forgot to make. We called to talk to the owner and he doesn’t take calls or respond to face book. Good enough for me… I WILLNEVERGOBACKAGAIN!

I didn’t want to write this. Really didn’t. This is my favorite pizza spot(there ain’t much in Lake Elsinore). I love their pizza and wings so much. But I have to write this because I have been feeling this every time I have gone here. The past few times I have gone, I was never greeted, or even spoken to, honestly. The only thing the cashier with long hair and a hat says is the total. I thank him because I have manners, but by then, he’s gone. Yesterday, it was the last straw for me. I walked in to pick up. Again, no greeting or words spoken to me. Oh, wait. That’s not fair. He did say to insert my card instead of slide it because of the chip. Most words I’ve ever gotten out of him. Well, while I’m paying, a man comes up behind me, and guess what? This cashier greets him! «Hi sir, how are you doing? I’ll be right with you.» I’m sorry, but when I walked in, I was standing behind someone too. Nothing was said to me. So after I move over to grab my pizza and leave, the man comes up to him and he greets him AGAIN! With a smile too! «Hi, how are you sir? What can I get for you?» Doesn’t even say anything to me as I leave. Not to mention, the man was Caucasian. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. I REALLY hope not. I don’t know what to think of this. I was very offended, and have been in the past but ignored it for the quality of the food. Please get a new cashier. Your pizza is good, but I won’t be returning if I continue to be treated this way.

I have driven buy this place for a few years, I finally decided to give it a try. I called and placed an order the staff was super knowledgeable about the menu. I order a large pizza and a pizza bread, never had one so why not. The staff told me my order would be ready in 30 minutes. My total was 26.99. I was a late. I got there in about 50 minutes. I took the pizza home, what a disappointment, very mediocre. The pizza was tuff very much like bread you would get at sit down Italian restaurant. I do like the that kinda bread but most definitely not in the form of a pizza. The sauce was ok nothing to brag about. The cheese was not stringing at all tasted old(more sauce then cheese). As for the pizza bread, just brunt bread overload with sauce and horrible cheese, something that could easily be made at home buy a 5 year old. Overall not worth my time and money. They only reason I give this place two stars because the staff was friendly. I will not return

We have been coming here for 30 years and loved how family friendly the employees where. Having Joe here and him knowing everyone was great. The food is still amazing but the service is ridiculous. You have employees here that have no manners, cussing out loud in the back and talking about the customer loud enough to here. We ordered something on the side of the pizza and according to the no manner«Manager» which he was argumentative as well since the food was ordered before the side it took almost 25 mins longer. I’m sad that the service will never be the same and may cause people to stop eating at this establishment. I hope the new owner reads these and realizes these new employees are going to drag this great place under. What a shame.

I have to change my review on this place. I have been coming here for 30 years and they are just Nickel and dimming you. They are already outrageously expensive but their pie is good. I think we will start going to MY Buddies instead. Sad but this will be our last time. Almost walked out this time but my kids wanted pizza. Sorry Joe we miss you coming in and running it but the kids here just aren’t that friendly and want to charge for everything.

I’ve been going to pizza bowl for years now. It is the best pizza in Lake Elsinore. The service is fantastic too. It’s a little on the expensive side, but worth it! I’ve never gotten anything that wasn’t good.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, wings, and dressings. I can be a dressing snob and love ranch with my pizza, so was happy to have some delicious ranch with the yummy pizza. Prices were higher than what you’d expect for a casual pizza joint, BUT for delicious made from scratch items, I’m ok with that. You get what you pay for!

Their wings and pizza are so good! I mostly love their wings from here than going to a different pizza spot. It does take awhile to receive your order and a little expensive for the amount of wings but they’re huge and somewhat worth it in the end.

Ok pizza, pretty expensive tho. Took almost an hour and a half to get two pizzas out to us and it wasn’t even busy. There were only four other people inside this crappy place! They couldn’t explain to my wife and I as to why it took so long. Save your money and time… Go somewhere else!!!

My family and I have been long time Pizza Bowl Fans! The pizza there is quality and you get what you pay for. The gentleman who are behind the counter are always friendly and seem like such hard workers. We had their pizza last night for dinner. My family wanted to eat in but as soon as we got there we were sweating. It is far hotter inside the restaurant then it is outside. Which made me think about the workers in the back they don’t have air either which is a poor working condition and they are sweating and cooking which is never a good combination. I know this restaurant makes money and it’s appalling that they do not invest their money in air conditioning which I feel would bring more patrons and I won’t have to drive 25 minutes to and from the restaurant to home and I can eat hot pizza there instead of cool at home. I would have given this place 5 stars if they had air conditioning. JOEPLEASEINVESTINAIRCONDITIONINGFORYOURWORKERSANDPATRONS!

Very good pizza, although much pricier than most pizza places. Fresh ingredients that you can taste. They are very generous on toppings. No delivery.

Ok. Let’s start out with, «I’m a pizza guy.» I worked at a pizza parlor in high school when I was a kid and I’ve practically lived on pizzas ever since. So the best place I have ever been in my life is no where near this town. My wife and I had decided to search a 30 mile radius to locate a pizza parlor that was exceptional. The two years we’ve lived hear we have not found one yet. To say the least most of them suck. Our plan was to «Pizza Parlor Hop» just ordering a small or when possible«by the slice.» Pepperoni and Olive pizzas all day long. We were on a mission. But the day was hot and I really didn’t want to do that. Against our better judgement we went to an area of Lake Elsinore we deemed unsafe, dirty, and just down right scummy. Yes, Riverside Drive by that green yucky lake. Only from the Unilocal Reviews this place had. To the person that had a problem with the fish bowl, I say thank you for your complaint. They were cleaning it when we arrived and although the fish were not home yet, the water and bowl had obviously been cleaned. When I mentioned your review they said they take the reviews seriously. Apparently they do. We got the clean bowl. We had only decide to even go there because of their reviews on this app. Like I said. I’m a pizza guy and no dirty fish bowl was going to stop me in my quest for the best pizza in town. So we ordered two extra large pizzas. One was Pepperoni and Black Olive and the other was Canadian Bacon and Pineapple. We ordered two Barq’s Root Beers. The place only had one other family or friend and it was the Sunday after July 4th. But I’d be gone to if I lived in that area of Lake Elsinore, CA. But being from Bakersfield, CA., and loving Mexican food, the best place was also in the worst area of town. On a scale of 1 to 100 I will say that for me they got a 90%. For me that’s pretty good considering every other pizza parlor in town doesn’t rate more than 30 to 50%. But I have traveled the world and had the best. That gives them a solid 5 Stars in my book. Because the next better place is 3.5 hours away. PROS: When we were there the place appeared clean. Anyway, it’s a pizza parlor and not a Ruth’s Chris’ or Shula’s. And if you have no idea who those two restaurants are then your dining experience there should be as good as any Sizzler. They offer FREE refills on your drinks. When I asked for a pizza serving tool they let me use a really nice one. The pizza is obviously the best around that I have had in my short two years here. I will be going back. CON: The room was a little warn. But I like it cold so it could just be me. There could have been more Black Olives on my pizza. I’m sure there would have been an extra cost had I requested it. Maybe not. OVERALL: I think they’re pretty good and I’m going back and would have no problem recommending this place to anyone brave enough to enter that side of town. Lol. And it’s not that bad of an area. I’ve seen worse. But I wish they’d move to better area. But 26 years in the same spot and your still open for business must account for something. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. But I wonder just how much more traffic they’d get if they dumped the name Pizza Bowl. Sounds like pizza that will leave you hungry in an hour. I wonder if they offer Orange Pizza. Lol. Go there. The pizza is GREAT. Now I need to try the rest of the menu. Doc

Place looks run down but the pizza is on point! Crust is crispy which I love. I normally have to ask other pizza places for crispy crust. The ingredients were delicious and every bite was just as good as the first. I always take my pizza to go so I can’t comment on dine-in experience.

First time here and it blew away the competition. It’s kind of a hidden gem, nestled in a mostly abandoned strip mall. I would have never noticed it was there except for Unilocal’s high rating. The Jack in the Box is right across the street and there’s a Circle K in the same parking lot as the Pizza Bowl. I called ahead and ordered a medium pepperoni and mushroom with extra cheese. They told me it would be about 25 minutes. I got down there in 15, ordered some sodas. They charge for refills. The restaurant looks like a slightly run down pizza place — what you might expect. They’ve got all the necessaries, a clean kitchen, a big pizza oven, big wooden tables with benches, a big screen, decent domestics on tap(and not to pricey and I think I saw 5 taps). You can see the lake for what it’s worth. Then, the pizza came(right around 25 minutes from when I ordered it — the guy called it) and it was amazing! The crust was that perfect lightness that only complements the toppings, The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The sauce is mild and they put it on light which made all the different flavors stand out … it worked! The crust by itself was, well, I don’t always eat the crust. I did today. Over all the pizza was so good it blew away the need for some sort of ambiance. And if I’d packed in a few friends, I wouldn’t have noticed. Pizza places are for making your own ambiance anyway.
