OMG the portion sizes are huge. Don’t pass this small store by the service was great and the BBQ Pork and Teriyaki Chicken was cut right in front of us to bite size yummy pieces. The price is excellent for the amount of food.

I get takeout here all the time. It is consistently fresh and always tastes good. Best egg rolls and cream cheese wontons in town as they are handmade not the frozen kind!!! Staff is so professional, aim to satisfy the customer and work with you on special orders! They’re always happy to see you and friendly! Best Chinese place in Lake Elsinore for sure!

Hole in the wall chinese food, but food is pretty good and the lady that works the counter is really nice! Cream cheese wontons are bomb!

This is the worst food ever, I would give them a 0 if it was an option. There food is disgusting. I am not happy with the service, I asked to swap my BREADED shrimp fried RICE and was told there is no other option to choose something else. Please be ADVISED, don’t waste your money, time or gas. They explained that the locals order know that the shrimp is breaded, ma’am I’m not a local!!! Thank God, couldn’t imagine living a block away from horrible Chinese food

I hate it here the people are rude and if the food doesn’t taste right they will not make u something different or fix it. I’m not happy with the service at all!!! Do not waste your money or time or gas!!! I put a 1 star but I really want to give them no stars.

We tried Shanghai Fast Food for the first time tonight and because we were new customers, they gave gave us free spicy chicken wings and Kung Pao chicken with our order. The food is delicious, and you get so much of it, at such a great price. The customer service is awesome too!
If you’ve passed by and wondered if this place is any good, you really should, you won’t be disappointed. I recommend the shrimp chow mein and mushroom chicken. Yummy!

Love that this place is very close to home and the food is also good. I like it because they have a couple unique spicy items on the menu that you can’t get anywhere else. Every time I have been here the food is fresh and the soups are very good.

They’re really friendly here providing really good customer service consistently. Their food is tasteful and portions are huge. It’s definitely affordable and quick. Would recommend to others and come back for sure!

Food lacked flavor and orange chicken was soupy

This is a good place if you want «standard» American Chinese. I love the chow mein and egg rolls they have.
Orange chicken is good, but the pieces are small compared to other places. Hot wings are HOT… Teriyaki chicken and BBQ pork are my normal order with chow mein and egg rolls.
Staff is very friendly, and the cooks even come out to say hi. From what I can tell, all vegetable dishes are fresh and crisp (I like the pepper beef)
Only wish they’d have a few shrimp items to choose from…

The food may not of been the most traditional but it was absolutely delicious. The woman working the cashier and dishing out the food gave portions that were generous yet not overwhelming. Definitely worth the money spent due to their reasonable prices. The only critique is the condition of the facilities. The bathrooms were clean which is a big plus. The overall look of the facility could do with some work. I would categorize the look of the place is clean but run down. Not so run down that it would deter me from coming back or to instigate a concern about The condition of the food. Although it is a small shop and not too many people were seated the woman still conducted herself professional and the service was the main factor in my wanting to write a review.

I’ve lived down the street from this unassuming Chinese restaurant for more than two years and tonight, really not wanting to cook and craving Orange Chicken, I decided to give it a try. Now I’m kicking myself in the butt for not stopping in sooner.
I did the combo two from the steam table after finding out the Orange Chicken wasn’t available that single servings were not available. The girl behind the counter gave me a sample, it was hot and tasty so I said «go for it.»
The combo comes with fried rice and chow mein. First I’ll get the bad out of the way, the fried rice was uninspired and it had peas mixed in… I hate peas and certainly don’t want them mixed into my fried rice.
Now the good. Chow mein was excellent, not over-​cooked as it often is when served from a steam table. My other choice for the combo was two egg rolls and they were excellent, especially with a dip in the sweet sauce that was provided. The Orange Chicken was also excellent, far better and more tasty than what you get at the cute bear express place across town.
Best of all, the portions were huge! If I wasn’t as hungry as I was and if the food wasn’t as good as it was, I probably would have had left-​overs for lunch tomorrow so I guess that’s a pretty good endorsement on the taste and quality of the food.
So why four stars? The fried rice wasn’t up to the standards of the rest of the meal and if I could give it an extra half star I would based on taste, quality and value. But I think that there’s room to get a higher rating after I try an entrée cooked to order so watch this space for a follow up review.

Was just passing by the city and decided to stop by for dinner… dont let the humble looks of this restaurant fool you… the service was awesome… They made our food to order and it came out exactly like we wanted it. Super cool staff and they speak fluent english… If you are down in lake elsinor you need to check this place out… Amazing food and a great dinner exp overall

Prices are great, pork is great, but everything else was extremely bland. The chow mein and fried rice was dry and had no flavoring. Might as well had been eating greased noodles. The teriyaki pork makes up for it, but only barely. Unfortunately, I wont be back.

My first time here since I’ve been craving Chinese. The food was great especially the Pa Tai. My 5 year old loved the noodles orange chicken &fried rice. Since it was our first time she gave us samples of the food. They were all good &just like being back at home. Staff is amazing especially the young lady in the front. Very helpful &since I was freezing she gave me some Jasmine tea. Aww I was getting home sick. Just like the Chinese restaurant tea. We will he coming back. It’s worth the drive

Food is just ok– Nothing great– But witnessed the staff show less then human decency– A well dressed woman entered asked to use the restroom– They state you have to buy something– She quickly returns from her car money in hand asks to purchase a drink they say you must spend at least $ 4 what a joke– You have lost me as a customer– I hope you use this as a lesson to treat people as you would like to be treated–

Id give it a 3 ½…I have eaten here a couple of times and it pretty good but i’ve had better. I’ve had better orange chicken. which is my fav! They do seem really nice and friendly though.

The food is always delicious. The staff is always super friendly! I work at the bar next door and although I’m pretty sure they do not deliver they always bring my order to me while I’m in shift. And they do it with a smile! Couldn’t be more satisfied!

Sorry, I don’t get it. The place is a dump and I was honestly surprised when I looked for the health inspector rating and it was an A. You have to ask for a key to use the restroom! Anyway, maybe because we ordered from the steam table and did not order something made fresh, I rated our combos a 2 at best. Very mediocre!
Cheap? Yes. But I think the guy at the counter was asleep when we walked in. He didn’t even say Hi to us after we said Hi to him and he didn’t initiate taking our order. It was awkward and I felt kind of ignored. Can’t say I’ll make the trek to Lake Elsinore for this place anytime soon!
