Sizzler

This Sizzler closed down around the first part of 2013. too bad because they were the only place on this side of the lake that had a decent steak. The salad bar was a cattle trough and the Ice tea was way over priced. but all the same … all we have left is the Casino. And my girlfriend wont go in there ;(

This Sizzlers has closed. It was in need of a refurbishment but the owners say they lost their lease and are looking for a new location in the area.

Food was good. My kids love the variety. The only problem was the cherry tomatos were frozen. This is one of the best Sizzler location as far as food freshness, polite workers, and cleanliness.
Always a favorite when it’s time for a night out with the kids!

this is a typical Sizzler. a bit run down, outdated décor and honestly mediocre food and salad bar. I have eaten at more than one Sizzler here in so Cal and they all seem to be the same. The service is always good and the people are friendly but it isn’t somewhere I would go often.

I do not understand how anyone could ever give this place a decent review. My bf loves it for some reason and has asked me to give it a chance… twice and twice I found it pretty foul. Everything is over salted and over seasoned. The salad bar is ok and you can make a decent salad because they do have enough of a variety of fresh veggies, but the soups, the pre-​made salads all are so sodium laden that I found them fairly inedible. I just do not get the appeal of this place!

Service was friendly and accurate, food was quite good and made accurate to order except seafood was bland though happily replaced with different choice. Pleasant experience overall.

this sizzler is great clean and the employees that work there are very nice and helpful. The food there is very fresh as i am from the midwest i love salad bars and i go to this one often and food always full and fresh veggies! salad bars are a dying art kudos to this sizzler

Really can’t say too much about the food — it’s Sizzler. Now that’s not a knock against Sizzler — I think the food is fine. But I’m not going to call it «Destination Dining.»
However, the salad bar is pretty good. I mean you have the regular components of a salad bar, but you also have soup, taco bar, mac and cheese, etc. No real reason to order off the menu
Also, the server we had was great. She was very attentive and friendly. Don’t forget to tip her.

This is the friendliest little place around. Always consistently good… food and service… reasonable. perfect for singles or to get some work done. Just an old fashioned Sizzler with 60’s Rock N Roll playing.

I’m a fan of salad bars and been to plenty of Sizzlers and this one is by FAR the nicest and cleanest. My hubby usually orders steak even though he never likes the outcome of how it was cooked (hello it’s not a steak house!) but I always get the salad bar with a chicken or fish entrée and I’m happy.

its a sizzler as far as sizzlers go, clean, busy very polite at the entrance. I saw they had the steak and lobster and it was on special for 15.99, $ 6 off the regular price, so i said «i’ll take it» medrare. Ok, they should have been charging 9.99 for what i actually got. The tail was barely larger than a large shrimp, not very tasty, the steak was the same size but was tasty and cooked the way i wanted. they don’t have corn balls, the desserts are lacking, but the salad bar had good salad fixings, fresh, good quality. For some reason no matter what i order my bill ends up being $ 30 or $ 50 for 2. way too much as far as im concerned. So i don’t eat here very often.

I went here tonight with wife and teen dotter (I know its spelled wrong).
The location is convenient and the parking was ample for the amount of people that were there. The atmosphere is very causal and a step up from other diner chains. They greet you at the menu on the wall and are very courteous and helpful. The service was excellent and we were all very pleased. The food believe it or not was quite good. The steaks we ordered were cooked nicely and the vegetables were fresh not frozen. The dotter had the mega burger and it was awesome according to her. If you like a good salad bar as well it is stocked with all the fixins including spaghetti, tacos and breads. The layout is good for everybody if you want to be close to the salad bar or seated away in a quieter area. The value is great as the portions are decent and the salad bar is endless. management was present and attentive and he was pitching in and making sure everything was stocked and clean.
Do not be afraid to visit Sizzler again if its been a while its worth the moderate price.

As Sizzlers go, this one is very good and very consistent. Very friendly staff, and I still love the buffet hot wings, always fresh, along with the rest of the salad bar. They have many coupon specials, but they make up for it with slightly higher alcohol prices. I know they call this a steak house, but that really isn’t their forte. Pretty large menu board, and the steak combo plates are still good for what you pay. Booths are comfy.

I took my wife to Sizzler for Dinner, I tried the tri tip, very tasty, and my wife had unlimited shrimp, the food was great, no complaints. I have come here on several occassions and each time its been a pleasant experience, the wait staff is courteous, the place is clean, and the price is right :)

My daughter and I usually come here for lunch when it’s just the two of us. It’s the perfect place for us! We always have the best service and the food is always really good. We usually get a server who is kind, upbeat and completely wonderful. For what you pay for, you get quite a bit making it a good place to get a good, inexpensive meal!

We’ve been many times & one of the gals at the counter, Coleen was awesome. She has gotten out from behind the counter & walked up to us, which is a great touch. She covered everything needed to take our order and was so nice and professional.
One of the other gals Elise, is sweet and gorgeous. and I’m not sure if she’s new to where it would be understandable, but she is excruciatingly slow. There were just a few parties in front of us one time & we had to wait about 25 minutes in line. That may be a new record. We’ve all been new & slow before, but I think it makes the most sense for management to let her learn a little more first & put her back on the front lines when it comes more easily.
Our server, Audrey is always five stars. She is always on top of everything, even steps ahead & we didn’t have to ask for a thing. Audrey has even caught something that dropped in midair! Audrey is always kind, considerate, and the best server we’ve ever had, anywhere. I’ve been eating out for all of my 34 years & have never encountered a waitress so on point. Unfortunately, Sizzler never pays their servers more than minimum wage (wtf!!), so I’d like to encourage ya to ask for her section sometime & see if ya don’t feel the same.
I love how they have you cut into your steaks first to make sure they’re cooked to your satisfaction. But unfortunately, the cooks don’t know what the different terms mean. (For instance, a steak ordered well done should never come out as medium rare. wtf?) There are even little pictures on the menu to know what the terms mean. They even have pictures! Well, clearly the cooks have never seen them. Multiple times the steaks have been cooked as ordered.
The manager has been able and willing to get something for a server when asked once. He got right into the thick of it on a busy night, instead of simply supervising. Unfortunately Sizzler won’t hire more than one manager, thus making them work sun up to sun down, seven days a week. Who does THAT? That means the manager can’t have a life or even a family. I wish Sizzler would get it together & treat their employees right.
But the food is very good & fresh and there are even entrees on the salad bar like chicken wings, corn fritters, tacos, spaghetti & meatballs, & baked mac & cheese. I do recommend signing up for their deals on their website– you’ll get a coupon for a buy one, get one free entrée up front and every couple months or so. We ended up getting a 6 oz steak & malibu chicken, two loaded baked potatoes, cheese toast, 2 drinks & all we could eat at the salad bar all for 16 bucks! Can’t beat that, plus the food is always great and so is Audrey, so we keep comin back.

I’ll probably lose any credibility I might have built up on Unilocal (probably not much anyways) but Sizzler is way better then people give it credit for. I’m giving Sizzlers 5 stars because of the negative stigma it has to deal with. Realistically it should get 3 stars but hey that’s 1 more star I’d give to Cocos and Denny’s.
I got the unlimited shrimp and it was tasty and freshly cooked. The steak was decent and for $ 14.50 what more can you ask for.
A couple of my friends got the salad bar in addition to their meal. Salad bar is a misnomer, they have chicken wings, pasta, nachos, fries, onion rings, among other things and of course salad.
What made my visit especially memorable was our waitress. She was extremely friendly and attentive. She was very concerned about making sure we were satisfied with our meal. She waited around until we each cut into our steak to make sure it was cooked the way we wanted and when we sent one back to the kitchen within minutes she returned with a steak cooked the way it was suppose to be.
Go ahead and call me a bullshitter but Sizzler is legit.

This place is terrible… Last time i was there i got a hamburger and it was so nasty i couldnt even eat it. I took one bite and the middle of the patty was filled with a grease pocket that exploded. The fries were stale and cold too.
They get one star because they have a salad bar with all the fixins.
My friend used to be a cook there and he even told me everything is precooked and microwaved to serve.
