Bellaria Coffee House

I literally come here every week! Sometimes even twice a week. Nadar and his team make the best sandwiches and are so kind and welcoming everytime. My two favorite sandwiches are the tuna melt on panini (super bomb) and the tuna salad sandwich on ciabatta. Ciabatta is a must! Great atmosphere and the sandwiches are always made fresh to order.

A charming independent mom/​pop coffee shop that is NOT a chain! This place has it’s own character with a high ceiling & interesting added chandeliers, arts, etc. The décor is warm/​pleasant with colors of bright orange & dark brown. Various indoor seating (couches, tables, communal table) & outdoor seating. Located in the same plaza as Ralph’s but at the corner end of the plaza. Bellaria faces the Borrego Trails & seems to share the same parking lot as them too. But there are plenty of parking all around. I’ve seen customers come here to study, read, do work or for a social meet.

Very welcoming & friendly staff. I usually come during non-​peak hours, generally around 2 – 3 PM. I’ve only seen 1 person working behind the counter — a lady or a gentleman to take your order & then a different staff member brings out the food from the back.

Extremely reasonable prices. A good variety of savory to sweets options offered here. So far I really liked what I have been able to try here & no disappoint yet. I am definitely am looking forward to trying out more menu items from Bellaria. Note — food sometimes can take a lil longer to come out. So be patient for they are making it fresh!
FYI — if you don’t want your sammies or bagels toasted you gotta tell them up front about it.

Let me start with the fact that the owners are about the two nicest people you’ll ever meet. The store is eclectic beautiful chandeliers and wonderful tasting cappuccinos. There’s a large biking community that likes to come by in the morning as well as the locals. I was very impressed and we will be coming back.

Really great place! Good menu with delicious options. A bar of different coffee’s to choose from, and the customer service is always great! I highly recommended!

Coffee/​food selections are good and the interior décor is nice. Service since the new ownership is not good. The owner or who I think is the owner is not friendly nor even says thank you. If a customer is giving you business the least you can do is say thank you.

This was my third visit, Nader the owner is a very kind man which has a great welcome greeting for everyone. best environment for meeting. Excellent coffee; waffle and panini. I cannot wait to come back again. I’ll be back surely every day even for a cup of coffee. Two thumbs up.

Great environment. Tasty breakfast ever. I asked about the recipe; the taste is much different, surely European taste. Can’t wait to get back again. Ask them about secret menu ;)

Bellaria’s is an awesome find, right by the trailhead to Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park. After our hike, we felt the need to treat ourselves and Bellaria’s didn’t disappoint! We tried the turkey pesto panini – YUM– all melty and gooey on yummy buttery golden pressed bread and with a side salad to boot! This was an entrée big enough to share.
To finish things on a sweet note, we got the giant shortbread Cookie with raspberry thumbprint filling – Ok this cookie was a game changer. Last but not least, we got an iced blended mocha – which was perfectly made. It had a smooth frappé texture and the flavor of the coffee was great in combination with the mocha powder used in the drink.
We would workout again just to eat here another time! :)

When you go to a coffee shop where the owner really loves his coffee, you won’t go wrong. Bellaria is just one of those shops.
Coffee at very reasonable prices with L sizes having the right amount of espresso shots. You’re paying for espresso with each size increase, not just being topped off with milk.
You’ll leave this place fully caffeinated and ready to tackle the day.

Cute coffee shop that located right next to our usual hiking trail. This place is great spot for many reasons!
Location 5*: they are located on the corner of the shopping center that has Ralphs, and there are plentg of parking.
Food 5* Even though this is a coffee shop they offer great selection of food like bagels, sandwiches, paninis, waffles (my favorite) and omelette. They make it fresh and from scratch they taste really good. Some food items take a little longer but it’s all worth it. Their belgium waffle is my absolute favorite! If you want your favorite bagel make sure to get there earlier, because they get quite busy!
Drink 5* they offer so many different types of drinks that everytime i have such a hard time to decide on what I really want. They even offer boba!!!
Overall, really cute coffee shop and I recommend this place for all my friends!

Horrible customer service. Waited 23 minutes and still didn’t get our drink orders. Several others came in after us and got their orders before us. We told the girl behind the counter we were still waiting for our drinks and she just gave a blank stare and kept taking new orders. We just had the owner give us our money back. If I could give minus stars I would.

I never make Unilocal reviews, but there were some extremely rude and impatient customers (Shannon G) who came in and walked out preaching that they would make a bad Unilocal review that this place does not deserve. The workers were super polite about it and the owner even came out to apologize.
When these people make the Unilocal review about their «22 minute and 35 second wait» let’s all thumbs down THEM for being snobby and obnoxious.
This place is bomb. I got the milk tea, my cousin got a mocha slush, and they were both great and the employees were extremely sweet.

Tried this place out on a slow Sunday morning. The décor and menu looks great.
Unfortunately we waited at least half an hour for our food, which consisted of the waffle plate and OC bagel. I said slow, because it was not busy at all. So I am wondering why it took so long!
I also put an order in to go and had to wait and wait.
That was very frustrating.
Spent an hour there total. Crazy. There was no line. I don’t know what was up.
Now I need to say, the food was delicious!
Loved it. Waffles taste great and that OC bagel with avocado and lemon pepper was so good. The older couple who may be the owners were very nice.
They just suffer from horrible speed of service.
I really, really, hope they fix that. I will be back. I want them to succeed. But not if I have to wait for a half hour to get a bagel.

I REALLY like this place and I REALLY want to upgrade the star rating to 5, but I just can’t until I have a better service experience.
Bellaria earns 4 solid stars from me because the place is adorable (think anti-​Starbucks quaint) and they produce delicious food & drinks.
Bellaria’s Croque Madame is the first sandwich I’ve ever pledged my eternal allegiance to, to be honest. If I could slap a diamond ring on that goddamn panini, I’d marry it.
It was love at first bite. And I had to have it again. I worry that if I transfer with my company that it might lure me back to FHR from Huntington… that’s how good this sandwich is. Ham, melty cheddar cheese, a fried runny-​yolked egg, toasted sourdough? #wherearemykeys #illmakethe405myb*tch
With all that being said, I called this past Sunday to place a carryout order for the crew at my workplace. The owner was kind enough to text me pictures of the menu which wasn’t available online (I’ve posted them for you guys).
I called her back with an order for four people and left to pick it up about ten minutes later. Upon paying, I waited an additional TWENTY minutes. For bagels and ish? WHAT?
And then one of the orders was wrong, which we paid extra for. *sad face* The owner gave us a refund of the mistaken non-​upgrade and offered a complimentary coffee, which was nice.
All in all, I’ll be back for that Croque because I’m bewitched… I just don’t think I’ll be placing anymore orders for the whole office because they seemingly can’t handle kitchen volume on the weekend.

I love local mom and pop places. This cozy coffee house kinda reminds me of how it might be if you were at Central Perk from Friends. Cool décor, warm inviting sitting areas and nice holiday touches. Love the funky chandeliers. A fun place to meet up with friends for a coffee and a sandwich or sit and get some work done.
They have a terrific selection of cold and hot coffee drinks, smoothies, bottled beverages, etc. I like that they serve some of their brewed coffees iced. It is nice that they have non-​dairy options, also, for us lactose-​challenged. I enjoy the vanilla nut iced coffee and their lattes with soy milk.
I have only visited so far in the mornings, so I can only vouch for the breakfast sandwiches which are fantastic. The Sunrise Surprise is a humongous sandwich with breakfast meats, egg and cheese, lettuce and tomato. OMG. I was scared when I was handed this sandwich just by the weight of the thing. I split this with a coworker who declared it amazing. I have also enjoyed the Whiting Ranch and OC bagel sandwiches. Filled with lots of quality ingredients, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and fulfilling. There are many other food offerings like acai bowls, pastries and many lunch food items which I have yet to try.
The owners are awesome people. I always feel welcome here. I see a lot of regulars here in the mornings. Being that I have to be at work very early, I appreciate the fact that they open at 5:30 am during the week. Yay for early opening coffee places! I love all kinds of delicious Java and tasty, fast breakfast options. I am ecstatic that I can find those things in a warm, friendly place at my local Bellaria Coffee House.

Newly moved to Foothill Ranch… Discovered this place and I am so glad I did! First the interiors are just lovely! I am a fan of family owned places who put in a lot of effort into their business… You see this café and you know it’s made with love…
Second the lattes are great! I have just tried their iced lattes up until now and they were perfect… I had the Lox Bagel and it was good! (perhaps add capers to it please?)
Third, such a great place to study or getting your work done, the wifi also works well!
Only if this café was open until a little later like 8−9pm!
Nevertheless, I am gonna be a regular

I wish I could give this place more stars, but I had to knock off a few stars for two reasons. 1) They don’t serve a decaf iced coffee! I had to settle for a frappé. Luckily the frappé was delicious! 2) The cinnamon coffee cake was dry and stale tasting… probably one of the worst I’ve had at a coffee shop.
The décor and ambiance is really nice though, definitely relaxing and super chill. I’ll give it another shot one day, but I’m staying far away from the pastries.

Recently relocated with work to foothill, had some of my lunch breaks here, consistent great tasting sandwiches/​bagel, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, will definitely hit this place more often
