Price of AYCE wings has gone up to $ 12.99, but still totally worth it if you’re a piggette like me. Faves include traditional hot, lemon pepper (naked), Samurai (breaded), our server Danielle’s fave Daytona Beach, and occasionally parmesan garlic or traditional medium. Step it up to 911 every so often also; do it for the kids.
Anyway so big bro Alvin D. and I got conned into trivia night by a spectacularly beautiful trivia lady. THANK GOD THEY REPLACED THAT OTHER LITTLE ASIAN GIRL WHO WAS SOOOOOO FRIGGIN ANNOYING!!! There are 30 questions, so caveat emptor. But we took the lead early on in the 2^nd round and never looked back. My brother being a shy lad sent me to go spin the winner’s wheel. Big Bucks! No Whammies! And BOOM! I WIN A VIP WING PARTY FOR TEN!!! 200 wings and veggie fixins.

If I said I came here for the wings, then I would be LYING.
Hooters have a reputation to have hot servers with big boobies. For the most part, this location meets those standards. When I went there a couple months ago, our server was probably a perfect 10. Yes, she was a ditsy, blonde bombshell, but cares? She provided the friendly, customer service that Hooters is known for. Our server turned out to be one of the Calendar girls and Hawaiian Tropics competitor. She urged us to check her out on the website, so being the supportive Hooters customer that I was, I checked it out. I found her plus 2 – 3 other servers that worked at the Lake Forest location at
Seriously though, the food here is just okay. I feel a 5 – 6 extra pounds on my cheeks and double chin when I leave this place. I honestly go here for sporting games and that’s about it. The best time to go is during football season because they have this frequent visitor program where the more times you visit, the more prizes you get. At half time, they have a couple mini games where you can win free food, gift cards, t-shirts…etc. My place is completely decked out in Hooters gears because I would go there for Monday night football and just dominate everyone. At one point last year, I had vouches that accumulated to 150 free wings. I would basically go there after work, play some games, win some prizes/​food and eat for free the following week.
This hooters is hard to find going 5-​South. It’s kind of hidden in a shopping complex.

A little about my credentials:
I first got into cooking & food when I was in college. After being rejected by numerous girls and getting zero action, I decided it was time for a change. I needed a new makeover to boost my geeky, engineering image. I applied for a cooking position at a Mediterranean-​Italian Restaurant near my home and learned to cook all sorts of pastas and dishes. I never became a professional chef, but I continue to enjoy & love food. 8 years later and 55 lbs heavier, I am now an engineer that travels all over the world trying new foods and learning about different cultures.

I must say the talent here is better than at some other locations and my dining mates agreed.
We came for the AYCE lunch and it was my first trip to Hooters in a long time. I really liked the breaded wings here over the naked ones. The Cajun ones were my favorite by far and the garlic parm were terrible. Why does hooters, wingnuts and BWW thing they need to make some nasty, putrid garlic crème salad dressing sauce to put on wings. You all need to copy Wing Stop. Add butter, shake on a mix of parm and garlic powder, bingo. I could be talked in to coming here again. =)

I highly douby anyone comes here for the food; it’s dogshit. Honestly, aside from the bland and surprisingly healthy grilled chicken sandwich everything here could conceivably kill you with a caloric intake intended for a rhino. The «world famous» chicken wings require at least 2 paper towels EACH to sop up all the oil oozing out like an Olestra-​induced leakage.
The reason people come here is for the supposedly hot wait staff. You’d think that in Southern California, the waitresses here would be outta sight hot, right? Wrong. Did Captain Creams send over their rejects or what? Even worse, they all flirt so over the top they might as well wear a shirt that reads «desperate for your tips». The only guys who seem to come here, myself excluded, of course, are those who probably don’t see an actual hooter unless it’s on a Dell computer monitor.

Sad it closed. Service could be a little slow, but when you’re watching the game and already been served food and drinks you got over it. Was the Best Hooters in OC with the most TVs and booths. Went to Costa Mesa instead. Same food, same uniforms, but bleh not the same.
