My car battery had died and just been jumped. I directly came to this O’Reilly. The whole team was friendly and looked out for my best interest. Erik went above and beyond to change out my old battery and install the new one. He was quick but thorough. He was such a lifesaver! Please recognize him for his stellar customer service and knowledge!

This morning I was driving my mom to a doctors appointment in her car when the mud flap/​front bumper was coming loose (reoccurring problem). We stopped in at this location. I bought some duct tape and Edgar came out and taped it all back in to place for us. He took his time and it stayed in place on the freeway — also he taped it nicely and made the tape as discreet as possible.
We were having a really crappy morning (besides the car) and Edgar helped us out with a smile on his face and saved the day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Both times I was seen by Edgar. He was more than terrific — professional and extremely helpful.
He suggested black floor mats for my beige interior floor and also a magnifying rear view mirror. He helped put it on as well as glue it, so that it won’t fall off.
Edgar, is friendly and just a great employee, going beyond.
If you have a chance, ask for him, he’ll be glad to help you.

And I’m being kind only for the reason there is one or two employees that have any clue about customer service there lack of concern for customers is why I won’t go there again oreilys might want to reconsider there training

MIGUEL is a life saver!!! I have had an issue with my Chevy aveo shifter lights not working I came in this afternoon not really knowing what I was doing… Asked and he didn’t hesitate to offer his help made the process seam like a piece of cake.
Taking customer service to the next level, after seeing the work that he did just because I came in to get the light bulb, this will be my one and only stop for auto parts! Thanks MIGUEL! :)

Excellent experience in purchasing replacement windshield wipers. Grant, mgr waited in me. got my military VA discount and he personally installed them for free. Total 5 minutes! Highly recommend Oreilly’s!

Had to get a headlight bulb replacement for my vehicle. Not my first time, so I have an idea of how much something this will cost. An associate, (wish I remembered his name) helped me and brought me to the front desk. I gave him my car model and he said they have the bulb and then went to the back of the store/​front desk to get it. This made me suspicious because replacement bulbs are usually in open/​aisle display. When he came out w/​the bulb, he said that it’s pretty expensive. Yeah! $ 90 expensive! I said that I’ve bought headlight bulbs before and they shouldn’t cost this much. He then pointed to the aisle behind me. Yeah, those were the ones I’m looking for. I felt like I was trying to get duped into buying something higher than it should have been. This isn’t the way to get loyal customers, buddy! Wouldn’t recommend this place and I’ll be sure to go elsewhere when it comes to auto parts.

Some of the most honest people I’ve encountered in California! I can’t express the quality of customer service i experienced here. Will always come back to see Debbie and the gang whenever I’m in need.

If I could rate this location negative stars, I would. My fiancé has bought parts here in the past but NEVER AGAIN.
He is a British born and raised polite gentleman, but knows his cars.
The past two times he has gone in to purchase an item he has been insulted by the staff, racially and otherwise, accused that he doesn’t listen to the employees because they «are Mexican.»
WTF!!!
That is the most ridiculous, uncalled for statement I have ever heard. Reverse racism much, O’Reilly?!
We will give our business to other places who don’t insult their customers from now and being that my fiancé is a DIY-​er that is serious money.
Footnote: I made a comment to O’Reilly on Twitter about this and they recommended we call an 800 number which goes straight to voicemail so I guess they just do not care if they lose loyal customers.
CYA, we’re off to AutoZone and Pep Boys, they treat their customers with decency.

Hate this store. Stupid and rude.
Called a few months ago looking for clear rubber hose to bleed brakes «yeah we have that» went in «you needed steel brake line right?» Uh. Nope, like I said on the phone, clear rubber hose. Takes me to the tool aisle, nope again, I need clear rubber hose. Takes me to vacuum lines, CLEAR. RUBBER. HOSE. oh I guess we don’t have that.
I grabbed some brake fluid off the shelf, went to pay «oh you just needed brake fluid?»
I don’t even know how or why I still managed to stay calm, pay and leave.
Went in today «do you need help finding something?» «Nope, that’s OK.» I know what I want and where it is. «Why would a Mexican know where something is» I hear as I’m browsing what I need. Well wtf, now I’m racist because I don’t need help? As I stand and contemplate if I even want to buy anything here, and what it is I want to buy here he comes, big s##t eating grin, «did you need help finding something today?»
I’m not a super perceptive person, but I know exactly what he was saying in his head «yeah, guess you don’t know what you’re looking for idiot, guess I am smart enough to help you after all «
Again, nope.
Told him I was considering my options, and I’d come back when I had a better idea what I needed.
Never again. I’ll take by business where it’s appreciated. The Autozone on Los aliso is always busy. I wonder why.

I needed a new battery and the young man that helped us also changed out my battery. The battery was pretty stubborn to get out and replace but he was patient and helped us out to the end. Best experience at an auto parts store ever.

The guy to go to is Andy. I went in to buy oil to top it off myself and he personally went outside and checked to see how much oil exactly I needed. I was lower than I thought since I last checked, (I drive a lot) so I needed to purchase two bottles instead of one. I have been learning my oil types and viscosity and he was also really knowledgeable when ‘talking shop’. He helped me select the right oil, recommended a few great tips for me for next time, dumped it in and off I went! ;)

Very knowledgeable and friendly team helped me find the right paint. Since it wasn’t in stock they looked it up in another store nearby. Will be back!
