Food is ok. Small portions. The problem comes when they ran out credit card twice. We spent the entire meal trying to figure out how many times they’ve charged us and voided our meal. Being on the phone for an hour whilst trying to eat with BofA ruined our meal and evening

Went here on a date. We really wanted to like this place! Unfortunately it is overpriced, bland, and the portions are very small. I liked the cali sushi, but the soup that came with it tasted like cat puke.

Ordered the cheeseburger with salad. Don’t let the looks deceive you. This is filling and tasty. The«bread» is a Japanese curry marinated grilled onion dried to be like a cracker. Not normally a vegetarian, but I would go back again.

If you like onions and enjoy the vegan lifestyle, this place is for you. It’s hidden away near the Smart & Final. Ask Maria to open up the young coconut and enjoy. I like the lentil soup and the lasagna made with coconut cheese. Onion bread is home made and so are the amazing salad dressings.

The place is unique gem. They have a good selection. I wish they had more options as far as food. But the place and employees are charming. Their products are organic and purely vegan which is great. They have the most delicious brownies. The cocoa raw chocolate kale and almond milk shake was awesome! I don’t give it a four or five star because I wish the cup size would be a bit bigger in size for the $. Overall, is was a good experience.

Excellent raw vegan food– very tasty and flavorful even if you weren’t vegan you would enjoy this place. Wish it was closer to my house I would go here all the time! Definitely try their almond joy dessert it is amazing.

Unfortunately this place was just plain bad. Not sure about all the other raving reviews but my sister and I went and we both got food that was horrible. She got a sandwich and I got the sushi. First off, there was no rice in the sushi. It was essentially salad wrapped with seaweed and called sushi(it was also expensive). It came with a side of salad but at that point my whole plate was just lettuce.(I didn’t come just to eat lettuce and left very hungry). My sisters sandwich was a little bit better, but the bread wasn’t really bread, it looked like a sandwich made with rice cakes(those things styrofoam things girls eat when they try to diet). I wish I had liked this place! I am vegan and like to support these kinds of restaurants but I think it was too funky for me. Expensive too. *edit-I also did not know this place was raw vegan– so I was surprised when there was no rice in the sushi!

The pizza is so good. That’s all I get there so unfortunately haven’t tried anything else but I go as much as I can for that pizza.

This place has the most flavorful raw food entrees I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find a raw or vegan eatery with this much creativity and flavor. No flour, honey or agave in anything I ordered huge plus for me. Veggie pizza was so good, the almond cheese and mushrooms are delicious. Cheeseburger was really tasty, love the crunch from the«bread»(made from crunchy onions and flax). The sweet potato soup tastes very clean and light. The owner is a delight.

My boyfriend and I shared the tapas plate, nachos and Laguna pizza, practically racing to the finish. Everything was fresh and so delicious. The cashew cheese in the nachos went perfect with the guacamole! The oriental noodles were crisp and refreshing, and I’ll definitely be back for the Laguna pizza and cheeseburger. Took home some almond joy too for dessert!

It was a long and rainy day. Work had drained me physically and mentally. My stomach rumbled and grumbled, sending out hunger pangs. «Go eat now!» demanded the stomach. Essentially, I heeded my stomach’s demand for hunger and went for the nearest restaurant of interest… and Veggos fitted that description. Veggos in a few words: delicious, healthy food that is affordable – although not as aesthetically pleasing. When I entered Veggos, I was greeted warmly by the boss Ron himself. He’s genuine and talkative – in a good way. He took my order, and we chatted for a bit. While waiting, I took in the layout and décor of the place; it was simplistic and minimalistic – my kind of setting. The food came out fairly quickly; I would say it took about 3 – 5 minutes(during a non-busy time). Notable Foods: Laguna pizza(personal favorite): Is this really a pizza? It doesn’t look like it, but it guess it qualifies(e.g. base, toppings); it’s an unconventional-looking pizza! Anyway, this pizza is good! Its appearance is deceiving which could possibly boost the taste – the lower the expectations, the better it is I suppose. I recommend this for this first-timers. Cheese burger(no, there’s no actual meat): Small, but appetizing. This is actually good too. I prefer the Laguna Pizza though(obviously). When you order either of the entrees above, you can choose a side: a salad or soup. The sides taste alright. Nothing too special about them. After the first experience, I’ve been here plenty of times now and brought a friend or two here. I’m still satisfied with the service and food, so I’ll continue going here with the quality food they’re serving. Who knew veggies could taste so good?

Wanting to get a taste of more than one dish I went with the veggos tapas for lunch. This has three smaller servings of the oriental lomein, hummus sandwich and v’gos cheeseburger. I also tried the Harvest pumpkin tea. Which was pretty interesting but not something I would try again. The lomein was so tasty, but was missing a few of the ingredients it noted on the menu. In place was zucchini chunks. Based on the photos it’s definitely lacking. The cheeseburger came as described in the menu and I really liked the cheesy crème. It did fall apart and I don’t think it’s something I would order again. The hummus sandwich also came as described and for someone not used to raw foods, I think this would be a good starter dish. Some of the other menu items sound very yummy and I hope I get to make my way back over soon to try them out!

I love this place! Excellent food, it’s SO filling and keeps you full for hours but you feel incredibly light! Not sluggish at all like cooked food! I’ve been a few times, got the tappas, then the Laguna pizza. I love the cheeseburger, too. I’ll keep coming back! Very happy to see such an amazing raw vegan establishment! Also, I don’t know what the previous commenter(the other review from today) is talking about. This place is spotless whenever I’m here, and the service is so friendly! And the lady upfront speaks great English! That just sounded like a racist review… I would ignore that woman.

My daughter and I decided to eat here today for lunch. We(devoted meat eaters) are attempting a raw for 30 challenge and day two seems to be pretty challenging! So, when we happened to be in the area, I was hoping to prove to myself and my daughter that vegan isn’t limited to chopped up fruit or veggie salad! The restaurant is very casual with a bit of a homey feel and *big smile* it was super clean. We arrived later in the afternoon and had the place all to ourselves. The gentleman behind the counter(who I assume was the owner/chef) was busy making onion bread(I asked) the whole time we were there. He was very friendly and helpful and we enjoy fast and prompt service. We decided to share our dishes, which was a great choice. We started with the nachos supreme and we were both super happy that we did! The onion bread used for the chips has a great texture and delicious flavor. The toppings were so fresh and flavorful! The presentation was beautiful too. My «favorite of the favorites» on the menu! For our first entrée, we shared the Laguna pizza with a cup of creamy veggie soup(ok, the soup isn’t truly raw, but it was tasty)! Like the nachos, the pizza was was fresh and flavorful. We had him substitute cucumber for the mushrooms, which was a perfect choice for us. The serving is two good-size squares. Love the crispy onion topping. The squares didn’t really hold up as we were devouring them, so they broke apart, but they were not soggy! I didn’t mind finishing off my square with a fork. The soup was hot, but not too hot and it was very flavorful. Not certain about the ingredients, but I didn’t even feel the need to add to salt or pepper — it was perfect as served! We also split the oriental lomein noodles with a side salad. To be upfront, the dish was beautiful and all the ingredients were fresh, but neither of us cared for the flavors of either dish. Maybe it was my ignorance, but I wasn’t expecting the lomein noodles to be served cold and even then, there was a seasoning or spice that didn’t work for me. Same with the salad dressing. I think it was an apple balsamic, which the chef suggested would complement the flavor of the noodles. I’m certain he was probably right and that was probably why we did not care for either. That said, I still think the dish was well made, with fresh ingredients, they just weren’t for us. It didn’t help that these were the last two dishes we tasted and we loved the first ones and the bar was already set pretty high! My daughter also ordered a small strawberry kisses smoothie. I thought it was delicious, but for her there was too much banana and not enough strawberry flavor. Lastly, we shared a piece of cheesecake. No fruit, like in the picture, but it certainly was delicious! No idea what was in it, still, I was more than happy to eat my share. The texture was much more dense and firm than a traditional cheesecake. I am not complaining though, I didn’t think anything I ate there was going to mimic the traditional food of the same name. What I was hoping for is exactly what we got — fresh, flavorful, and creative raw dishes! I was even more thrilled than I expected! I’m guessing I’ll be dreaming of onion bread tonight and we’ll be back there again soon for the bread, the nachos, and more!

This place was ok. I’m sure for the die hard health nuts it’s a gem. However I’m not. I like finding great food for good price. On a Friday noontime, we were the only customers in the place. Sign. 1 person works there & she doesn’t say hi, welcome or anything until we literally walked right up to the counter & got a quiet hi, I think. I think the price for what I got, was a rip off! I could have made the same thing at home for like 1⁄6 of the price. I got the hummus sandwich, where’s the hummus? Thinnest layer of hummus I have ever seen! Come on, it’s garbonnza beans which is not expensive, put a good amount on! Only think I could taste was the onion bread so it was ok. Friends got the sampler. The loved the cheeseburger item the best. Noodles look d good but again, my opinion, not worth the price. Portion sizes are small! The ones saying they are large need to get their eye examed! Totally personal preference but really nothing Impressed me. Sorry.

YES! I finally got to try this place after many failed attempts(they are closed Sunday’s) The location is kind of a bummer, but that doesn’t matter considering the food, it’s so worth it. I got the v’gos cheeseburger while my sister tried the heavenly hummus sandwhich and neither disappointed. Great portion size for the cost & tons of yummy flavor. And seriously– vegan & raw; STOKED! They had yummy looking desserts I’d be interested in trying in the future. The whole menu seems so great, I can’t wait to come back! Hooray!
