Veggie Grill, be still my heart. If I could eat here every day for at least 2 – 3 meals, I could easily be vegan. It’s THAT good. You can’t go wrong with their quinoa kale salad, it’s my favorite! Their«chicken» sandwiches are pretty darn good too. My toddler LOVES their«chicken nuggets» and french fries. I think she actually likes their chicken nuggets BETTER than a typical fast food chain! I’m salivating right now, I think I’ll stop by for lunch or dinner again soon.

Wonderful, as usual. Love their service, the santa fe burger(my normal go-to dish), and the shopping center it’s located in — The Grove’s Farmer’s Market! Always park in the Farmer’s Market — that way, you get validation for complimentary parking. It’s a good place to go if you want gluten, the healthy kind. Although, to me, the taste does not differ from that of actual meat, and meat lovers of all kinds have been amazed that, «it’s not meat!» Solid food, clean establishment, and great location — what more could you want? Stop by and try it out!

Everything met my expectations! From the service to the food, everything was fantastic. Their iced tea is also delicious. I thought everything was fairly priced, being that it’s healthy, fresh and completely vegetarian! I came here after I heard great things, and I was not disappointed. I want to come back and try everything on the menu.

I ordered my salad for delivery and indicated no quinoa just because I didn’t feel like a lot of quinoa in my salad. I’m not allergic. They honored my request, put the extra quinoa in a separate bowl and delivered it as well, along with a note to warn me that some quinoa may still be there just so I’m aware. So nice of them to take the time to do that in case I wanted absolutely no quinoa or was allergic.

This place is AMAZING! I’m so happy I found it! Even though I’m a meat lover. I don’t eat meat outside. And since I found this place every time I’m in the spectrum area this is where I eat. The food there is amazing you never can tell it’s not a meat. I tried the cheese burger, crispy cauliflower, Santa Fe and the power salad and everything taste delicious! So if you’re in the spectrum area, try it you gonna love it!!!

As a lifelong carnivore I must admit this place actually rocks. Been here twice for lunch with a group from my work with each visit being just as good. Ordered the crispy ‘chickin’ sandwich on my last visit and was surprised that it wasn’t real chicken but tofu. Tastes exactly like the real deal. Their food is tasty, well proportions, serve healthy alternative fountain drinks and even beer if you wanna switch it up. Definitely will be returning.

I am a meat lover so stopping by here was very out of character. However, I am very glad I did! Ordered the B-Wing salad, and honestly you could barely tell it was a meat substitute. The buffalo wing sauce was spot on for a «real» wing taste and it was surprisingly filling. I could eat a full burger with sides and all and not feel stuffed — but I’ll feel guilty. I didn’t get that feeling here.

I have gone to this veggie grill for years now, but lately the service has gone down significantly. The food I ordered has been burnt with plastic parts in it and the taste was not the same. I hope they care to read these reviews and consider putting some much needed repair to this branch(spectrum) for future customer satisfaction.

I ran into this place while shopping at the Irvine Spectrum. I needed a quick bite but did not want to sacrifice quality by going to a «fast food» joint. The Veggie Grill was somewhere in between a fast food place and sit down and it did not disappoint! I am not a vegetarian but I am an instant fan of the vegetarian options at this location. I got a craft brew with my tapas style veggie dishes and left happy. The guy who took our order was cheerful and helpful in helping us decide what to have. He gave some great recommendations. I will visit Veggie Grill again.

First time trying out Veggie Grill and I give it two thumbs up! Pretty good for vegetarian/vegan dishes! My boyfriend ordered the grilled chick’n sandwich with yukon gold fries, I got the banh mi salad, and we shared the b-wings. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food you get. MMM the b-wings are really good! I would eat these over the real buffalo chicken tenders! It has a nice tender texture and the buffalo sauce makes it good! The banh mi salad was delicious! I really enjoyed the marinade on the tofu and the salad is on the sweeter side from the dressing but overall not bad. I tried a bite of my bf’s chick’n sandwich and it wasn’t bad either. Overall, it was a good first experience eating here!

First time here and everything was delicious! Felt super healthy afterwards too as a bonus! Ordered the Santa Fe Crispy Chikin Burger w/sweet potato fries, best veggie burger I’ve ever had! My girlfriend got the Quinoa Power Salad w/tempeh, also bomb AF! On top of that the service was super friendly even on a busy dinner night, guy named Daniel was super nice and even helped us decide who would pay the bill(a game my girlfriend and I play all the time)! He also hooked it up with some free Carrot Cake and drinks! Someone give this guy a promotion yo! Overall experience was a 5⁄5 for food and if I could give a 6⁄5 for service I would! I’m addicted to this place, definitely coming back for more!

Although I’ve been to the Irvine Spectrum a few times, I never walked towards the food court area until this past weekend! We made a stop to Veggie Grill before heading off to help out for a wedding. The restaurant was about 65% occupied by 12:15pm. Order at the register, place your number at your table and wait for your food! Utensils, napkins and hot sauce conveniently placed near the drinks — self serve. Sonoran Summer Bowl(9.25): Jalapenos, avocado, tortilla strips, black beans, corn, and red sauce on a bed of quinoa. The pictures made this dish more appetizing than it was for me. I enjoyed the roasted corn but the beans took over the dish =/If you love beans and looking for something that will fill you up, this is definitely it.(Good) Carbs all over! B-Wing Salad($ 11.50): Strips of buffalo«chicken» on a bed of romaine, celery and corn salad topped with creamy ranch dressing. The«chicken» is tender and delicious and might I add, almost better than real chicken!

Been there once after hearing very good feedback on this location. Ordered the crispy cauliflower and really enjoyed it. Also very good service. I’m sure I will be back to this location again.

Located next to Yogurtland, across The Melt. I like this place, but nothing really wowed me. It’s a good, standard vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Walk in and there are menus located on the wall. You wait in line and order at a register, then they give you a number. You then seat yourself. Outdoor seating is available. I ordered the Banh Mi Salad: Glazed tofu(which was delicious) with carrots, white cabbage, basil, cilantro, mint, and kale. I liked the glazed tofu, but I feel the glaze sauce on my salad/kale was a bit too much. The glaze is basically chili sweet and sour sauce. which is good… but a little too much for my liking. When the server brought me my plate, he went to grab utensils for me, since I forgot to grab them. Haha whoops. Great service! Also, when I first walked in, the cashier walked up to me, greeted me, and asked if I was ready to order. Rather than having the cashier yell out, «Next!», this was a different but nice change. Overall, Veggie grill is OK. I don’t crave it; I eat here if it’s conveniently on the way to my next store destination.

Very pleased with this place! For what it is, a vegan/vegetarian joint, it’s certainly deserving of 5 stars. The location itself is extremely clean and modern, w/staff constantly wiping down tables as needed. For the lunch crowd, we got our food fairly quickly. I ordered the Quinoa Power Salad, which was pretty good! I wasn’t in LOVE with it, though, and would probably try something else next time. My sister had the Savory Kale Caesar salad with the Sweetheart Fries. The chipotle aioli served alongside it was amazing, I’d come back just for those two! The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the tempeh bacon. Faux meats just ain’t my thing. Overall, I was really impressed and glad I came here. The service was also great. After our food came out, I got up to grab utensils and napkins(you’re supposed to get them yourself) but before I could even get them, one of the workers was on his way back with them for us. Til next time!

Located at the Irvine Spectrum. Plenty of tables inside and outside. Order your food and then they will bring it to your table. I didn’t realize that everything on the menu is vegetarian! What I got: Pick A Pair: All Hail Kale Salad & Yukon Gold Fries($ 8.25): so I heard the hail kale salad was pretty good so even though I’m not a fan of kale at all, I tried it. Comes with a lemon dressing, walnuts, tomato salsa ish thing, and shredded carrots. I’m not a fan of the taste of kale, but overall it was good? I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t really like it either. They give you a good amount of salad too! Definitely got full from eating just the salad. My aunt tried the salad and really liked it. So if you like kale then get it, if not, get something else. The fries weren’t that good though and probably wouldn’t get it again. Service: I don’t know if it was Friday and some people couldn’t eat meat, but the wait was pretty long. Took around 30 minutes for me and my aunt to get our food. Togo boxes and all the other condiments are near the soda fountains.

TRUTH — you are the product of your diet. The energy that fuels your body, your state of mind, mood, complexion, and body weight can all be influenced by the kinds of food you eat. Currently, I take supplements to enhance my gym workouts, but I often fail to realize that eating the right kinds of food can repair my muscles and tissues, boost my immune system and metabolism, restore bodily function, and help prevent sickness and disease. As many of you claim, abs are made in the kitchen. Vegetables are a huge part of this process and Veggie Grill is trying to make a profound statement. It comes from nature, with powerful antioxidants and vitamins to promote your health. The ones you want to get at this healthy restaurant chain include — broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, cabbage, spinach, leafy greens, onions, garlic, avocados, mushrooms, and sweet potato. Don’t forget to also celebrate fruits, nuts, and grains. BTW, in regards to that, I think Jim Davis(creator of the Garfield comic strip) said it best — «Avoid fruits and nuts. You are what you eat.» But, not in this case. For my first experience at Veggie Grill, the food just didn’t appeal to me. The CRISPYCHICKIN’ PLATE comes with fried chickin’, caulk-mashed potatoes, porcini mushroom gravy with fresh rosemary, fire roasted carrots or steamin’ kale. The poultry wasn’t bad, in addition to the gravy, but the carrots I selected were rather burnt. Really wasn’t expecting all that char. The TRESFISHTACOS were a lot better. It’s crispy fish, green cabbage, original baja sauce, cilantro, fresh limes, with mashed avocado and tomato salad. The salad was refreshing and tangy, with the fish cooked evenly and seasoned right. I thought the prices were fair and the service was decent. Maybe, I just need another take? Veggie Grill works for a light and healthy lunch option in Westpark Village, Irvine. After a savage Crossfit session I found myself in the area famished and the last thing I wanted to do was sabotage the work I already paid forward, so I figure it was about time to try Veggie Grill. The fast casual concept and feel is familiar if not a complete page torn out of the Native Food playbook. Salads, Bowl and Wraps are offered with alternative(read: meatless) proteins made of Soy Curd, Wheat Gluten and whatever else Vegetarians use to create faux meat. As a side note this is an idea I always found curious. One choosing not to ingest meat yet creating a food product that imitates the look, taste and even mouthfeel of the very sustenance that was to be avoided in the first place. It makes no difference to me what another person eats, I just was always intrigued by the principal. I digress… I went with the B Wing Salad which is(you guessed it) The Veggie Grill’s take on a Buffalo Wing Salad. Crisp and piping hot imitation Buffalo Wings are tossed in a spicy and rich sauce and then placed over chopped romaine, avocado, celery, roasted corn salsa, and a ranch dressing with a somewhat thin consistency. The Wings were surprisingly on point for«Chicken» that has never roamed the Earth. They do a particularly good job recreating the crispiness and chew of a hot Wing. The sauces are all very flavorful and it almost felt as if I was cheating. All of the ingredients seemed plenty fresh and the Romaine had a nice snap to it with each bite. I would have no issues trying this again. Although Veggie Grill is not a replacement for my beloved Native Foods Café, it certainly scores solid marks for Vegetarian in this devout carnivore’s book.

Haven’t been to this location for a long time and so this past Friday I met up with my friend to watch a movie at the Edwards and had dinner here afterwards. This has to be one of my favorite places to get a vegetarian meal… since I’m not a vegetarian — I appreciate the taste of their«chicken» meat… it’s not the real stuff since it’s made with soy and tofu or something but it sure is delicious. I ordered my favorite Grillin’ Chicken once again — even though I did notice they have new stuff on their menu… but I just love the sauce they have for this sandwich and with the side of Cauli-Mash. Super tasty and delicious and guilt-free. The service was pretty nice… cashier was friendly and they clean up pretty quickly too. It wasn’t very busy but there’s ample seating since there’s also outside seating but since it was pretty cold we sat inside. I really hope they open more up in the LA area since that’s where I’m at most of the time.

This place has consistently great food. I’m not a vegetarian but I’ve tried a good number of their dishes. Their«Chicken» Cesar Wrap is my current fave and everything is super fresh. The only thing I’ve tried that I didn’t really like was their Vegan Mac & Cheese. It’s a little gummy and sweet of all things. However, that is a minor blip compared to all the yumminess here.
