tl;dr Food was soooo good we came back the next day. Don’t miss out on this breakfast. Let me start by saying I’m not much of a breakfast guy. I’d rather have leftover pizza in the morning than eggs or pancakes. My wife on the other hand loves breakfast, so I’ve been trying to find the best of the best for her and to sway my tastebuds. Arrived 9am Saturday morning and we were seated immediately. At our table was a pitcher of water with lemon in it. Nice touch. We were offered their house strawberry orange juice, and were so tempted, but we needed caffeine. My wife ordered coffee, I ordered a soda(I’m one of those weird coffee haters). The coffee arrived in a cool pottery mug, with a carafe for refills. My soda arrived in a mason jar, with a pitcher for refills. Impressed. I took a chance on the lemon poppyseed pancakes, with a side of harvest potatoes. Soooo glad I did. Three thick and fluffy pancakes, coated in a sugary lemon topping. I almost ate them all. The potatoes I devoured. Just the perfect amount of crisp. My wife couldn’t decide between the smoked salmon Benedict or the lobster scrambler, so our waitress surprised her. Smoked salmon Benedict it was, and it was supposedly amazing(she wouldn’t share!!!). Couldn’t have asked for more. But wait!!! After getting our check, we were both offered to go cups for our drinks, no charge. Perfect ending. We came back the next day and had yet another great experience. Couldn’t have been happier.

Great breakfast/brunch place. I was going to try other places in town but had to come back. Strawberry orange juice is a must. Pancakes or cinemon roll French toast are good options. Bacon cut generously and well cooked. Great service.

Sooooo good here. Food is piping hot, fresh and very well seasoned. It was so good we are here for two days in a row instead going to try some place else. You can’t go wrong here!

Great spot for a quick breakfast in Lake Geneva. Very kid friendly and good food! Tons of choices! My toddler especially loved the gigantic rainbow pancake, haha. My husband had some crepes that were great and I did the egg white omelette, which was great! The fruit is also good, they don’t just give you the hard melon like a lot of places, haha. Food is quick to come out and there is a great parking lot in back we didn’t know about until recently. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food and best coffee ever! Plan on a wait if it is the weekend, very popular place, but for good reason. Food is fresh, tasty, and good size portions. This place has a great menu with wide variety of breakfast items. While waiting you can enjoy a cup of their amazing coffee(little self serving station behind hostess table). Ate at Simple the next day and it is a close second, but I am putting Egg Harbor at the top of all breakfast establishments I have ever eaten at. Nice job!

I haven’t been to Egg Harbor in quite a while, but made a stop during the weekday lunch hour with some co-workers. Food good as usual, service was good, but as I left I was never so insulted in my life by the hostess(pretty tough to insult me). Instead of making a scene I felt a post would be better heard. Sorry Keith love your place, but in the hostesses words, she«shouldn’t take this personal» you’ve had better more friendly people working in the front counter.

Meh… Was okay but not amazing. Greasy breakfast food. Lots of variety but I doubt they do anything amazing.

Very good place, it does tend to fill up fast so make sure you go with enough time. Well worth the wait.

We got there at about the last seating of the day during Winterfest. They weren’t crowded and could accomodate the six of us. Service was good. Food was basic and okay. To be honest there was nothing particularly memorable about it,

We really like this place. It can get very packed during spring/summer but it’s worth the wait. Their pumpkin pancakes are spectacular. My favorite thing to get there is one of their skillets. They have pretty good coffee and a good selection of drinks. If you get a table without waiting for a while, I highly recommend you try this place if you want a good filling breakfast!

I am so happy Lake Geneva was the half way point for me and a couple friend yesterday because I think I had one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Blue Harbor Café is a cute restaurant with tons of rooster decorations adorning the walls and shelves. We waited for maybe 5 minutes, nothing long. Our coffee came in mugs that I thought were fantastic(you can buy them for like $ 14) and you get your own coffee pot for the table so that’s convenient. I stated to my friends that I wanted to Bavarian Benedict and they both laughed, saying they were also ordering the Bavarian Benedict. It was so good! Potato pancakes, bacon, cheese, poached eggs, tomatoes, chives, dollop of sour cream, all in a skillet with English muffins and a fruit on the side. Seriously amazing. I actually considered driving back to Lake Geneva this morning to have the Bavarian Benedict again. I plan on going back in a few weeks :-)

Busy place especially on the weekend. Be prepared to have a bit of a wait on those days. Food is good and consistent with good service. One of the better places for breakfast in LG.

I wish we had an eggsperience in Lake Geneva. Egg Harbor is okay but the portions are pretty small making it tough to get a big hearty breakfast without ordering two items. Which is weird given we are in wisconsin the land of plenty and bit portions.

Today is our last day in Lake Geneva. We’re trying Egg Harbor for the first time. Our server(Kelsey) is super nice. The décor of the restaurant is quaint and friendly. Lots of space. We were sat by the window so that we could see main street Lake Geneva. Kelsey saved breakfast!!! I personally thought the green onions, and sweet onions weren’t fresh. The green onions were garnish for the homefries, and the sweet onions were sautéed into my scrambled eggs. Both were not very good. But Kelsey replaced everything. The harvest potatoes were burnt… the second round was much better. I cooked for a living for a bunch of yrs. I expect everything to be prepared right the first time. I’m going to have to take a star or two off for food preparation. Service is excellent!!! I won’t be back unless my wife makes me…:)

A cute little breakfast place in downtown Lake Geneva. They have crepes, skillets, omelettes, and a variety of other dishes, mostly served with their harvest potatoes and English muffins or fruit. I love that they have turkey sausage and chicken sausage. Good fresh squeezed juices and strong coffee, too. Family owned, although they are a chain with a number of locations in the Chicago area. I like it a lot.

Amazing!!! Our server was so nice and accommodating. She let us know exactly what we could add or substitute so that we could tailor our meals to our preferences of we couldn’t make up our minds. The Javier special was solo delicious with hollandaise sauce that’s to die for and their special seasoning was so unique that we bought it too. The pancakes, Belgian waffle, French toast, chilaquiles, pumpkin pancakes, bacador, and the Popeye crêpe were really really good!!! We finished everything and can’t wait to come back in 2 weeks because they now have a Schaumburg location which is closer to where we live!!! Yay!!!

Best breakfast in Lake Geneva! Super cute décor. Plenty of seating & not crammed together like some resturaunts. Our waitress was friendly. And the food~ ohhhhh! Hubby had the biscuits & gravy, with eggs & potatoes. I could have eaten a heaping plate of those delish potatoes! I had the Autumn in Italy blueberry bread French toast. It was perfect! The blueberry cream on top was the best! We loved everything about our meal & would for sure go back.

The best breakfast restaurant ever! We have eaten here many times over the years — and this past week on our vacation we have excellent service and food. They have a great gluten free menu and altered their Italian french toast to be gluten free for me as well. My husband always asked for extra grilled sausage patties and received them without any issues. One day I requested the gf toast with a piece of cheddar on one slice and jack cheese on the other for my egg sandwich — no request was denied. The new gf frittata is awesome, so is the french omelet. My son loved their large waffle and the bacon is delicious.(I wish their egg salad was gf!)

Went this morning for breakfast. We were promptly seated and immediately, the«juice girl» came over to ask when we wanted to drink. We just sat down, I need a minute to get settled. Then about 30 seconds later, our server came over and asked again. We had not opened our menus yet. Kinda irritating. We then ordered, got our drinks and the food came out super fast. Food quality was so-so. Probably won’t return.

I really like this place. The selection is large. The kids breakfast items are insane and awesome. For example, my son had two pancakes with chocolate chip candy in it, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausage, fresh squeezed OJ, all for around 5 bucks. We went on a Saturday in March(not exactly high tourist season in Lake Geneva) and there was a long wait, but it was worth it. You can help yourself to coffee while you wait and they ask you if you want a «to go» cup when you leave. They also offer a flavored coffee which I like. Definitely go and try to get there early to avoid the wait!

Seating– We had to wait about 10 minutes for a party of 8(2 kids) at 10am on a Sunday morning… not bad! Service– great service, helps when coffee pot, pitcher of water, and carafe of diet coke are left at the table. ALL restaurants should do this!!! Food– I had the signature pancakes with eggs and sausage patties! Great! You can taste the quality of food by the amazing taste of the eggs, sausage and pancakes. I could eat this for lunch and dinner its so good! Environment– resort town feel, busy on the weekends, lots of parking available in November! I know this is a franchise but its amazing all around, better than Yolk!

Overall: everything you could want in a quality breakfast brunch lunch place. Good food, good prices, good service. No complaints what so ever. The good: good food with a lot of options. A lot of healthy options too. There is something for everyone to pick from. It came out quickly too and the service was fine. Cool homey atmosphere with some interesting art. Pretty reasonable prices. Even get coffee to go! The bad: it looks like it can get super busy. Atmosphere: 9⁄10 Service: 9⁄10 Food: 9⁄10
