Denny’s

Went in yesterday afternoon, for the price the food was pretty good and the service was great. Normally I don’t like Denny’s and I fight my fiancé on going but yesterday it was very good and I left very full and satisfied. The waitress was lovely, and attentive. I will be on board when going back again and I recommend the $ 4.00 biscuit and gravy!

I woke up with a serious craving for a sandwich with turkey, bacon, cheese, and tomatoes grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich. I have only found this sumptuous slice of Americana in two places: Denny’s and my kitchen. Since I don’t want to spend the night making one, I called Denny’s to see if I could call the order in and pick it up. Sadly, I’m out of luck; after 10:00 pm I have to come in to order (sort of obviates the whole idea of a pick-​up order).
I offered my credit card. I told him I’d pay extra. He chuckled and said he couldn’t do it (I think it was the chuckle that sent me over the top).
I spent 17 years in retail where I watched the slow demise of customer service. I will always, ALWAYS, reward proper customer service; likewise, I will avoid poor customer service. Denny’s will never prepare a Super Bird for me again. Never again will that yellow sign represent comfort and Americana as it did in the past. Service is Americana.
So, goodbye Denny’s; parting is such greasy sorrow.

There were four people in our group. We ordered four breakfasts, three of the breakfasts with hash browns extra crispy. When our order arrived to our table we reminded our server Travis that we had asked for the hash browns to be extra crispy, he replied that he had wrote extra crispy on the order ticket. He agreed that they did not look extra crispy and took them back to the kitchen, he returned with our plates and said the manager told him to inform us that they could not make them extra crispy. I told him that we have been to other Denny’s as well as other restaurants and have never had a problem with ordering them cooked extra crispy. We sent the uncooked, inedible portions of the hash browns back and asked if we could speak with the manager. Travis returned and said the manager would deduct 20% from our bill, I asked for the managers name and he replied that her name was Stacy. I was ready to leave, but my wife and inlaws didn’t want to go and wait somewhere else, I was the only one that didn’t order hash browns either. I was very disappointed on how Stacy handled this, although Travis seemed to be very understanding and apologetic of the situation. We did leave Travis a tip and would give him a five star rating and Stacy would receive a minus five star rating for the way this was handled.

We normally stop here after a hard night of drinking — while still intoxicated and the food tastes pretty good! This morning, we decided to stop and have breakfast before we went to work. I will say that, even sober, this is one of the best Denny’s I have eaten at. They weren’t very busy so we were seated immediately. We ordered a couple omlettes with hash browns. Everything arrived in about 10 mins and it was actually delicious! The service was efficient and friendly. .. we were out of there in about 25 mins. The crowd, on the other hand, is really the lower rung of «Havasu» but as long as you don’t look at anyone, you can still stomach your food! If you don’t enjoy being surrounded by all varieties of circus freaks, I suggest asking for a booth in the back!
It’s difficult to give Denny’s a 5 star rating but I really feel that this one deserves it!

we came in with a crowd of 11, it took about 10 – 15 minutes. the food was cold and we had to keep asking for stuff like butter, syrup, more water etc. the waiters looked frustrated… sad to say this wasn’t a good experience :-(

I had the pancake poppers which were way overcooked and almost hard. Their omelette I had (I don’t even remember the name?) was decent enough but it was so damn greasy holy hell my arteries.
The waitress was nice. For a Denny’s it was pretty standard, and that means a-​ok.

Worst Denny’s Ever! These Arizonians don’t know what the Definition of Busy Means especially since they thought they were busy Over an one hour wait for our cold ass food I only gave it a star so I can leave this review

Fast friendly. Denny’s … The food was good for Denny’s and the service was the best I have hadat any Denny’s. I would recomend this Denny’s to everyone in a hury for a decent breakfast.

Well, for a Denny’s this is probably a 5 star… but I just can’t give a Denny’s 5 stars. It’s the food quality, even when expertly prepared it’s still missing something. Like the bread they use for toast with breakfast… I imagine they pay like 50 cents for a whole loaf of this stuff.
Anyway, I would never consider going here from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Denny’s is definitely not worth a «wait» time OR having to deal with any of the seasonal boating whoooo-​hoooooo-​look-​at-​us crowd. This weekend after Labor Day the place is already like a ghostown in that respect.
So, I dig the build your own Slam breakfast, choose 4 items for $ 5.99. Cool. The NEW Pancake Hushpuppies? Damn, looks like I picked the wrong day to start eating a «little» lighter!!!
Service was quick and efficient as it usually is at this Denny’s.
Décor is still straight out of 1985. A recent fresh coat of lavender trim-​paint on the interior makes it seem like that theme won’t be changing anytime soon.

instead of 86’ing me, denny’s welcomed me back with open arms.
