Westlake Village, CA
This is one of the better dive bars in town.
We like them because they also serve food as well.
The bar staff are pretty funny and accommodating.
Drink prices are awesome here as well.
Darts, pool, and your friends = a good time here.

average sports bar. good thing is they serve Guiness and great stock of whiskey. other wise it is a typical dive sports bar. food was ok. nothing to rave about. had the shrimp. which was heavy on the breading.
will try a burger next time.

One of my favorite dives! Loud, smoky and cheap drinks. Staff is welcoming. I always go here at least once when I’m in town.

Monrovia, CA
I was a little worried to come here because I saw some comments about locals not liking outsiders. The bartender was cool, and the bouncer was super welcoming.
The ambience is definitely divey. There are a lot of bikers here, and pool tables. The music is pretty solid.
My friends and I came here for the food because everything else seems to close by 10 pm. Here, they have a little window you can order from until about 12.
The salad was awesome. Cheesy goodness, and the dressing on the side. My friends were raving about it. The balance between tomatoes, lettuce and cheese was good. A little heavy on the onions… But I hate onions.
The steak is decent. I asked for medium and it was well done. So, that contributed to the four star rating. The waitress also took my fork! But a security guard came by and asked if we were okay, rectifying the fork issue.
This place, overall, was pretty cool. I would definitely come back. :)

Everyone here is so happy and kind. it seems like they know everyone and out of town people like me they treat me like family. I can’t believe how cheap the draft beer is and they put a ice cube in it to keep it cold. Last night they had a great band

Best hot wings and onion rings I’ve ever had. My husband and I are on a road trip from California and made it to the hotel around 9pm. We were hungry and found this place on Unilocal (it’s open until 2am) so we stopped by and it did not disappoint. Best hot wings and onion rings ever! They are a must try if you’re ever in town. Heads up though, it is a bar so they card you at night. Looks like a hole in the wall type place but those are always the best!

Local dive bar, outsiders not welcomed. The bouncers are a bunch of crusty old penis wrinkles. GO TO BJ’s INSTEAD!!!

Lake Havasu City, AZ
Moved into town on Saturday 1/​3, and went to McKee’s that night. Bartenders were friendly and cracked jokes, the beer was inexpensive (like $ 3 for a draft) and the burger I had was out of this world. I forget what it was called but it had bbq sauce and bacon, and was cooked to perfection. Love the scene, and definitely will be returning!

Love going here! Avg priced drinks, great service, great low key atmosphere. Pool, juke box, darts, live music & djs, food is surprisingly really really good! Always has nearby parking. Love that the smokers room is seperate. Always feel welcome for sure. I enjoy going to mckees, and will continue to.

scrumptious!
i had the grilled chicken breast sandwich with potato salad. the chicken was a real chicken breast cooked perfectly — so moist and so tasty. the potato salad was different than i’d ever had, and it was EXcellent.
a big added plus… they serve diet pepsi! wooHOOO!
will be sure to stop here again next visit to havasu!

This bar was one of the firsts that I went to after 21. Have been here several times since. It is a nice low-​key bar. Never been there and it was packed. The staff are very friendly and have conversations with the customers. I do visit this bar whenever I am in town visiting. Way better than other bars within walking distance.

This place is super cool, I Use to live in Havasu about 4 – 5 years ago and this was the place (and still is) the place I go to hang out with old friends and family during visits.
4⁄5 stars…
Not that it really matters, but as a non-​smoker I just kind of dislike the really thick-​smell of cigarettes that cling onto my clothes, even if I’m only there for less than 20 minutes. I get home from the bar and it stinks up my whole apartment with cigarette smell.

Perfect neighborhood bar. You can bring the wife, the mother in law… and never be embarrassed. The food… well that is a pleasant surprise.
Looks like a biker bar… but fun for everyone no matter who you are.

I went in for dinner on New Years Eve. It wasn’t too busy but it was early. I had a philly cheese steak sandwich which was prepared to order and was great, obviously the cook has some pride. Really hot comfort food!
I had one beer with it and off home I went. Party animal, huh?
Drinks are good too and it’s a nice environment. Nice friendly people, bartenders are good and you get good service too. There are a couple of pool tables, a large patio area where you can smoke.
There’s music playing, this isn’t a sports bar.
I recommend McKee’s for good food. They have pride in their food and it’s well placed.
