Rebel BBQ

People are really nice but the food is bland and does not taste like bbq. The Tri tip was like chipped beef the bbq sauce tasted like watery catsup. Very disappointed sure miss Waldos

My wife and I ate at Rebels for lunch today. Overall, I had mixed results with our meal. They deserve 2.5 stars instead of 3, but I like to round up.
The place was fairly empty and the service was initially slow because only one person was working. Later, a girl came in to work the counter. Both employees were friendly and courteous.
My wife ordered the Cuban Sandwich which she rated 2 stars. She didn’t like the flavoring of the pork and it came on a French roll. The bread was mediocre quality at best and looked like it came from the supermarket. $ 10 for the sandwich. She had onion rings on the side (for an extra fee). The Onion rings were fantastic and worth the extra money.
I had the 3 ribs (St Louis style) and half chicken with a side of portobello mushroom and garlic bread. They used a dry rub on the ribs and chicken. The ribs were meaty and the chicken was moist and tender. It was dry rub was ok, but I am not a big fan of dry rubs in general. So don’t trust my opinion on dry rubs. At $ 16 and change, it was expensive for the amount of food.
However, the BBQ sauce on the table was very good and it improved the taste for me. The portobello was way too salty to eat and the garlic bread was horrible as it was on the same type of cheap French roll that my wife had on her Cuban sandwich.
Again, mixed results and kind of expensive for the quality of food. The overall BBQ flavor reminded me of the type you see down in Texas. So, if you like that style of BBQ, then I would give Rebel BBQ a try.
Oh, the iced tea was very good also.

I’ve tried this place twice and it’s not very good. I’ve tried bbq all over the country and this probably one of the worst. I tried the meat platter and the pulled pork sandwich. The food doesn’t have any smoky flavor. The sauce has a metallic after taste. Bbq doesn’t mean burnt by the way. Another thing brisket isn’t supposed to be thin sliced like a cheap piece of lunch meat. I don’t know how a person can make Mac and cheese bland, but they managed it. I was really hoping that after the first bad experience that it would be better the second time. It says something about a place when you go there on a Sunday at 5 P.M. and there’s isn’t a car in site.

BBQ sauce was awesome. Potatoe salad good. Mac and cheese ok. Chicken had no flavor. Ribs were tough. Probably will not be back.

Maybe 2 ½, but if you know good BBQ you will probably be disappointed. Sauce was good, but that’s about it. Tried Chicken, Brisket, Ribs, and pulled pork. Nothing hit the mark. Even the kids have it a thumbs down. Sorry for the review but just being honest.

Delicious BBQ. The Tri tip, brisket, and pastrami were all very good! Highly recommend getting the feast which at $ 12.95 is a great deal! Definitely will come back next time I am in town with the family.

Meh. After living in Texas I am familiar with incredible BBQ, this is not that. It is mediocre at best. I got a meat plate, the chicken was very good, brisket was average, but ribs were tough. I bet the smoked chicken in a sandwich would be delicious!
What saved this review was the service. A girl named Ashley helped us. She was great with our son, was attentive, kind, and pleasant.
Still on the search for great bbq in Havasu!

I got ribs. They had no sauce. Dry. Chewy. I wouldn’t feed it to a dog. I heard that if you go during the day it is good because that is when another cook is there. I dunno. The atmosphere is weird and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly but the food. Blech.

Great food! Brisket sandwiches melt in your mouth tender. Homemade potato chips too. Friendly owner, brought out some pastrami for us to try. Best we have ever had! Will definitely be back!

Went here today with 2 others for a business lunch. Two of us had the brisket sandwich and jalepeno potato salad and loved it! The other member of our group had the tri-​tip and loved his meal as well. Excellent food and wonderful customer service! I can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the items on the menu! Highly recommend checking out this place!

I just got back from Nashville thinking I experienced the best BBQ, boy was I wrong.
REBEL BBQ in Lake Havasu smokes them, try any of the smoked pastrami or brisket sandwiches which are awesome.

I’m no bbq expert, but this place hit the spot. We ordered the tri-​tip sandwich and half chicken. There was something comforting and familiar about the home made sides. The service was also commendable. If you find yourself in Lake Havasu for some reason don’t leave before stopping at Rebel BBQ.

Best BBQ ever! Savory tender meats, great side dishes. Nice clean dining area. Friendly staff. I highly recommend Rebel BBQ! We have been to both locations and never disappoints!

Great find! Outstanding tri tip sandwiches, jalapeño potato salad, and chopped salad. Fast and friendly service. Five stars all the way!

First time here. pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Jalapeño potato salad was different but tasted good. Will definitely come here again and try the pastrami. I heard it was good. Place was clean and staff was friendly.

I eat at rebel bbq in Blythe all the time. Tuesday tacos is my favorite followed by the pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese. There burgers are out of this world. If you are in the mood for bbq, this is where you wanna go

My wife and I was driving around and saw this place, me as a fan of Bbq decided to stop in and try it. Food was excellent, service was great. The staff was very friendly. I been to many Bbq places across the country and this is one of the best. I would recommend to others to stop in and try it. The tri tip was excellent as well as the brisket and pastrami.

Must order the meat plate, it comes with Tri-​tip, pulled pork, chicken and a rib. I inhaled the food because it’s very flavorful and not salty like other bbq joints. The price is very reasonable, my boyfriend spent less than $ 15 per person. the staff are super friendly, it’s family owned and the owner was very sweet. He offered us birthday cake. Definitely coming here when I’m in Lake Havasu. Great food and friendly service.

I was hoping this place would be BETTER than the BBQ place that was there before… or at least as good. But it is neither.
It’s very odd that they don’t have any servers.
Don’t give me a menu and tell me to sit down and then come back up to order? huh?
Either be a sit down restaurant or be a fast casual restaurant! Your plan is not working!
Overpriced for what you get. We ordered 2 sandwiches at $ 9.50 each but you have to pay another $ 1.75 to «upgrade» to get fries with your sandwich!!!
WHAT? Fries are an ‘upgrade’?? They don’t consider them as a standard side item.
Makes no sense and was super annoying.
The food was average at best and the amount of fries was embarrassing since they charge extra for them.
They better make some changes here or it will close down just like the last place.
