The pictures don’t do justice to the flavors of this local spot. Great cocktails and super sweet to kiddos. Nearly everything is made in house including their delicous salsa’s and hot sauce. Friendly & helpful staff. Taco Tuesday is nuts so don’t be in a rush!

Awesome, don’t know what all the reviews are about — less than 5 stars. The server Kim was very attentive from the moment we got there. Cadillac Margarita was very yummy, you can taste the Patron. The food, Carne Asada plate was very good! The meat was very tender, and the plate was loaded, with enough to feed three people. The chicken and spinach enchilada plate with Baha sauce, was amazing. I can’t say enough about our delicious diner. Most decently will return.

Service, food quality, restaurant odor. Where do I start? We waited 20 minutes for water, 15 for chips and Salsa, over 30 for food that was under a lamp for at least 15. No one could finish a third of their meal. Extremely disappointed. Will not return.

Worst mexican food I have ever eaten. We tasted it and left it. Rancid oil flavor the chili rellenos were cooked in. Spanish rice had the texture of minute rice. Waitress was good and friendly. Just blah. I would guess, they cater to snow birds that really don’t know good mexican food otherwise I can’t understand how they stay open.

Hadn’t been to this restaurant in many years until recently, years ago it wasn’t the best, however were we surprised when we went back, first week we went back three times. Food is excellent and servers do a great job. The Wednesday night special is excellent. Great food, great price and excellent service, strawberry pie is excellent also.

Probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. If the taste wasn’t bad enough… the stomach problems you leave with will make you definitely regret this choice.

Went to this place for $ 1 taco night a couple weeks back and was underwhelmed. I guess you can’t expect much from discounted tacos but the salsa and even the bean dip were not that great. The huge Blue Moon draft beers did save the visit for the most part though. Note to self: skip the «taco night» special and stick with Casa Serrano for something more authentic.

Great Mexican food! Amazing Staff! The courtesy that we received from this place was outstanding the service was amazing my husband had a beer and the beer was from a local brewery which he really enjoyed with a great shredded Beef burrito, I had a really good enchilada plate with green sauce that was spicy just like it said on the menu cooked to perfection. My son had a kids quesadilla and he are the entire thing! The ambience was an perfect blend of busy and uplifting atmosphere.
We were more than pleased with the experience and will be coming again. Thank you.

Waitresses are friendly and helpful, but food is not made with quality ingredients. Therefore, at least the dish I had, cheese enchiladas, did not have a very good flavor. I do not recommend this place.
I am not including this as a part of the rating, but the city water here tastes extremely bad. Therefore the water and iced-​tea served are not really drinkable. The restaurant should try filtering the water before serving it, or drinks made with it, to customers.
Bring bottled water with you if you are going to eat here, or anywhere that does not filter the water in Lake Havasu City.

Super disappointed in this place. Been here a bunch of times because I love the queso dip and flour chips but last night was just to much. Ordered the queso and chips and got chips with melted cheese on them. When I asked where my queso dip was I was told «I must not have heard you right, these are good too». What??? So I ask again for the thing I want. A bowl of dip and a plate of chips. Real simple. I get the queso dip but the chips never came. Had to ask for them to go on the way out. Got attitude about actually wanting something I was being charged for. That was my order. My wife ordered the steak fajita and was also disappointed. It was not good. She had three bites and asked that it be taken away. Also got charged for that. We will not be going back here. Sucks a bunch, have a lot of great memories here. Time to find a new spot to eat when we go to the lake .
P. S. just opened the bag of «flour chips» that they gave me on the way out to find out that it’s just a bag of the normal table corn chips. They managed to mess up the fix for a mess up. This place is run by clown shoes now. What a joke and a waste of years at a great location.

Have to say this was a terrible experience. After finally getting seated every server there walked by us and never even acknowledged we were there for 15 mins. After 15 at the table the cashier from out front came and gave us chips and salsa and she asked if we needed a drink. She was prompted bringing them. But then we sat another 13 mins waiting for an actual server. One finally came by and said «wow has no one helped you». lol funny but they all looked at us that was about it till she arrived. The chip are so bland had to put salt on them myself and the salsa tasted like tomatoes and thats it, no spices what so ever and very few peppers or onions. When our food arrived which didnt take to long, it to was very bland no seasoning what so ever. So for us there will be no returning ever. Another strange thing is they deliver your food on push carts!!! Looks terrible… We were there on Jan 9, 2015

Grocery store taco shells horrible food and pace picante salsa it was huge waste of my money. And the manager has no authorization to take off my check the food we sent back, probably because everyone complains because the food is awful!

It has been 15 years since I have been in Havasu and I couldn’t wait to see if TH was as good as it used to be. Well, it is! Huge portions, great salsa, great value. Don’t miss where the locals get great mex.

Taco tuesday was great last night… Make reservations before 4:00 pm and you don’t have to wait ! They are super busy so try and go early if you can always great food and love the salsa!

We went on a Monday night and had the chimichanga special. It was really good. The chips and salsa were not too bad. Had to ask for the hot salsa. 6 of us ate and it was only $ 51. We will be back!

I went there while it was pretty empty and it took forever to get my order taken. The servers were just fiddling around or something. I ordered a chimichanga and it was terribly bland. I didn’t even finish it. I would recommend staying away from here.

That sign that hangs outside the restaurant kept catching our eye so we decided to give it a try, It was not good… the food was about as tasty as Taco Bell. Need I say more,

What happened to this place?!
This use to be our ‘go to’ Mexican place in LHC.
It use to be really good like 4+ years ago.
Then it turned to shit!
I hadn’t been in about 4 years but decided to try it again recently.
We have had so many meals at this place… I was just hoping the old Taco Hacienda would be back.
No, it did not happen.
This place is just so bland.
Some of the most uninteresting, unflavorful Mexican food you will ever have.
We waited forever to get our food. Almost 30 minutes (for only 2 people!). The server never said a word like «sorry it is taking so long» or anything. It was truly bizarre.
I remember seeing the place listed for sale a few years back, so I had to ask on my way out (since I knew I would never be back!) if there were new owners.
I was told it is the same owners for the past 50 years?! huh?
Well… something has changed.
There are many better Mexican restaurants to pick from in LHC.

Reading these reviews, I must ask: Do people who eat here not have taste buds?
I used to eat at Taco Hacienda regularly, it was very good… 8+ years ago. I had a craving for their food on my last trip to Havasu, figured I would introduce my wife to some of the food of my life.
We were seated right away, drink orders fulfilled in short order. Chips and «salsa» came out too. I put the salsa in quotation marks because… it tasted more like cold chunks of tomato than salsa. Store bought salsa has more flavor than that bowl of tomato chunks.
Enjoying the sunset after we ordered, we lost track of time a little. By a little, I mean, it took twelve minutes to get a drink refill in a restaurant that was not very busy, by a server that walked by and saw the empty glass, looked at me and kept walking.
The chips and «salsa» were long gone, drinks were getting close to empty and my stomach was grumbling. We started looking at our clocks, seeing what time we checked in versus the present time. 48 minutes had passed at that point since we ordered. It was nearly 60 minutes before our food came out.
My enchiladas were OK, nowhere near the flavor that I remembered from days of old. The taco portion of my order was about the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. OK maybe not quite that bad, but charred, flavorless, crunchy «ground beef» does not make for an appetizing meal.
My wife’s food was way overcooked, bland and dry as well. Her drink was only refilled because she, very loudly, tried to get the last remaining drops of soda from the glass, while the manager was two tables over and a different server walked by, who we heard tell our server to check on us.
When we went to pay the bill, the manager asked how everything was. We honestly reported that we were extremely disappointed in the hour wait for food that was absolutely horrible. She offered to take 10% off of the bill. Apparently, that is what she felt would be sufficient to rectify the situation and invited us back again. Can’t say that we will EVER go back there. Plenty of other delicious Mexican restaurants in LHC to enjoy.
