Our family went to dinner there on May 3. Our waitress seemed nice but she was not on top of things. My husband had to call over another waitress for refills. We watched our waitress stand in the kitchen with her back to the dining area and not pay too much attention. The food was okay. There was another girl who kept coming to the table to ask for empty dishes. Which is okay to make room but I felt rushed to leave. Then before we left, I kept noticing our waitress look back at us over and over. Almost like she was talking about us. Maybe she wasn’t but it just didn’t look professional.
Overall not a good first visit

Was out of control under staffed on a major weekend that we went here for dinner. Obviously a poor management issue with that. The staff you could tell was overwhelmed and stressed, just worried about trying to keep the wheels from falling off a instead of giving good customer service. Once seated, our waitress was really good though thankfully. The food was delicious and the margaritas are strong.

The food is amazing, and cheap. But the horrible service completely negates that. I’ve literally been sitting here an hour waiting for an omelet. There are 10 people standing waiting for a table, and its not because they’re full. Its because they aren’t being bussed. Really bummed, the food is awesome but you have to have the patience of a saint to deal with the total crap service. Worst I’ve ever had.

Came for lunch and I have to say that I was surprised at how cute the inside was, not sure what I was expecting but I was pleased.
I had the Grilled chicken taco salad and it was good, could have had more tomatoes and cheese but it was tasty.
Hubby had the crab enchilada and beef taco, they were very small but he said the enchilada was very good.
As for returning I am not sure, we are very picky about Mexican food and there really isn’t allot of good ones here in Havasu.

Cheap, bomb Mexican food!!! Been here twice now, and even though it looks like a little hole in the wall, it’s yummy and the service is always great. I love how they bring out a side of beans with your chips and salsa. I’ve only had their tacos and enchiladas because I always get the same thing, but my friends have gotten the tostada with ground beef and steak and say their meals were good too.

We’re locals and eat here all the time! Love Mexican food! The staff is always friendly and pleasant! The good is pretty good for the price. It’s nothing you’ll be writing home about or jumping up and down but it’s better than any fast food ever thought of being and the staff makes up for what little the food is lacking.

We used to enjoy their food. Hadn’t been in about 6 months but thought we’d try it for a change. Wow! Have they gone downhill– all the way down I must say. The service has always been so so but it’s even worse now. Tables needed busing, chips and salsa and drinks needed ordering and employees wandered around like there was nothing to do. Then came the food. All I can say is we should have stayed home and opened a can of tasteless red sauce and called it chili Colorado. Save your money. It’s the worst Mexican food in town.

The «bad» must mean their service.
We waited over an hour for food. The restaurant was not even crowded. No refills on the drinks.
When the food came, the carne asada burrito was mostly beam, only a few pieces of carne asada in the burrito. Asked for refills that never came.
This is the first and last time we will visit.

It’s not TexMex, nor is it MexTex. It’s authentic Mexican! No passport required! Excellent food and service. Extremely friendly staff. I have to say, what I saw of the kitchen, it’s cleaner than mine at home. Working up the courage to try the six-shot margarita with some friends!

Yummy! I’m eating beef taquitos, rice, beans, guacamole (out of this world!) with some Zinfandel wine. Husband had quesadilla and Arnold Palmer. They give beans and salsa with home made chips. Great place, casual, friendly. I’ve been here many times and ., I’ll be back!!!

Had lunch there today, was waited on quickly and food came quickly! Comfortable seating which I really need because of back! It was not extremely spicy which I appreciated but had a good flavor! We had a lunch special and it was good! Small place but customers arrived regularly!

Enjoyed the breakfast! This place has a selection of American, and Mexican style breakfast that we enjoyed. Have not tried there lunch or dinner, we will have to do that next time. The only negative is that the service is a bit slow.

We hear rave’s about this place, so, I decided to bring my daughter after a fast shopping trip. Enough about us, now for the review. We ordered, and when the meal came, the food presentation was typical Havasu Mexican. The big disappointment came when I cut into my Chili Relleno and a shredded beef taco, with beans and rice. This is my go to menu choice when I try a New Mexican Restaurant. The relleno was like an egg soufflé with the chili off to one side. Like a short cut recipe you find in a cheap cookbook. Very bland and no crusty shell. Yucky! So very disappointing ! Not going to recommending you try it!

It isn’t the best Mexican food you will ever eat… but at least it is cheap!
They have specials every night of the week.
Friendly service.
Pretty basic Mexican fare… but two of us ate dinner for $ 14.87.
That is worth an extra star for sure.

We placed a carryout order that included guacamole and chips, shredded beef enchiladas and carne asada tacos. The tacos were excellent. They added salsa too.
Everything was very good except the bland chile verde salsa they put over the rice.
Definitely would go again.

Hi,
We like Bad Miguels…
Ok, so maybe the food is not amazing. The location a bit hard to find tucked back in the strip mall next to food city. The décor leaves a bit to be desired and the service is only so so.
But, there is just something about this place we like. Maybe it is the ½ off all food Thrusdays after 4:00pm. Maybe it is the fact that it is a local dive and not too many of the boat crowd frequents the place. Maybe it is just that is it consistant and you know what you are going to get when you walk in the door… ok Mexican food… cheap !
Don’t forget they have amazing breakfast specials too.
