M & M Peach Ranch

Drove all the way here for some cherry picking today! It was hot but there was some unusual cold wind so that was really nice. Fresh air, organic cherries, huge land, what else can you ask for on a nice sunny day?! The cherries are organic and there are 50+ trees all full of cherries. Bring lots of water, a hat, and shoes! It’s cherry picking time!
Cash only & cherries were $ 4.90/lb today. Not bad!

Easy to pick, $ 2/​lb — they have apples and cherries as well (not in season now). Great for the kids.

Hubby overheard me exclaiming a desire to pick peaches when we were apple picking. :)
We were headed up north for the weekend & he found a peach farm about 1−2hr away from Glendale and just off the I5N near the grapevine (and about 30 min when you get off the I5).It’s 400 acres (yes, FOUR HUNDRED) acres of glorious ORGANIC peaches!
M&M is a U-​pick. .you have a bucket and go around picking whatever you like. They’re open for U-​Pick on F, Sat, Sun 9−5pm only.
Peaches are about $ 2/​lb. We got here just in time for the «Last Chance» peaches… yellow peaches finishing up the season. Unlike our apple picking experience, M&M farms has BEAUTIFUL, large and plentiful peaches!!! =9 Lady helping us was so friendly too. she had a broken arm but wanted to write down her peach pie recipe.
They have different peaches depending on the season as well as cherries and raspberries (?). =)
We ended up making peach pies to share with friends (peaches stayed firm through our trip ~.^). Just add a bit of nutmeg, cinnamon & sugar and plop those suckers into homemade crust… bake for 45 – 60 min… so easy & delicious! =)
Perfect outing for friends & family. =) Beautiful photo spot too. =)
