Don’t let the 5 stars fool you, when I rate it 5 stars, I am doing so in comparison with other McDonalds. You’d never find me recommending any McDonalds over someplace with fresh handmade food, but in comparison to other McDonalds and other Fast Food locations, this location brings their A-​Game. Right off the bat, the staff is super friendly and engaging. My daughter found a table that has a sensor based light-​up game on it, which we all agreed was surprisingly fun to play with while waiting on our food. The food came out pretty quickly, and surprisingly wasn’t as greasy as other locations we have tried.
So my advice, if you have your heart set on a Fast Food meal, consider this location.

Very clean store with very friendly staff. We love the create your taste burgers! Guacamole and a chicken are amazing! I cannot wait to go back and try to create your taste again with a different combination!!!

OK first off I must say. I’m a central Floridian so I’m used to the typical «Micky ds» experience. But this McDonalds is by far the best I’ve ever eaten at. Both my wife and I agree ways the employees great you to the overall service is what McDonalds should be! All McDonalds should try to be what this McDonalds is! Great food and good service!!! Very very impressed!

My daughter and I come here once a week as a treat so she can get her Happy Meal and I can partake in a delicious Filet of Fish Sandwich. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is usually attentive. Yesterday, we were waited on by two elderly gentlemen who provided, not only comic relief, but amazing service! They were both very attentive, and I even saw one of them take a shake out to a customer on the floor. My 6 year old daughter said, «Mommy, it feels different in here… everybody seems happy.» It’s amazing how a little bit of kindness can make all the difference.

Yawn! Just like any other McDonalds. The only plus on this location is the huge playground.

While I don’t usually find a reason to review a McDonald’s, from time to time I do have one. I was on my way home from Tampa and needed a snack to make it back to Jacksonville. I started thinking about McDonald’s fries and even though I didn’t really want them, I couldn’t get them out of my head.
This location has one of those tricky double drive thrus. I’m a fan of them sometimes, but the footprint of this Mickey D’s seems to be a little smaller making it tricky to navigate. I got my order placed. Got my food quickly & was on my way. The service wasn’t stellar but it wasn’t dreadful either. However, I don’t expect white glove service when visiting these places.

Extremely Bad Service. But the worse thing is all the employee are 100% is manager at night shift.

I have to say something about the horribly slow service at this «fast» food restaurant in Lake Mary. While I have two other McDonalds closer to where I live in Sanford, I take my grandson to the Lake Mary location since it has one of the few remaining Playplace areas.
When I walked in tonight and placed our order, I had to ask the several people standing in front of the counter if they had already ordered… and I was surprised to learn that all of them were just waiting for their food. (Close to a dozen people waiting.) I noticed that the «now serving» sign above the food pick up area listed numbers going back to 470, 471, etc… and when I got my receipt at 6:13 PM., it was number 491. I watched the board and it was NEVER accurate… so why have it?
It took a full ten minutes to get our (uncomplicated) food order. Really? I was speechless. No apologies offered for the wait or slow service… something I was always taught to do when working in retail or the food industry or ANY customer service arena. After finishing our meal, my grandson asked for an ice cream cone. When I went back to the counter to order the ice cream, I noticed that there were probably close to twenty people now waiting for food orders. There were several workers, including at least two who were dressed in a way that made me assume they were managers, behind the counter, and there seemed to be a lot of activity, but no one seemed to be getting food! At 7:07, I ordered an ice cream sundae and an ice cream cone. Nearly nine minutes later, I saw the cashier go to the ice cream machine and I hoped that he was finally working on my order. I was amazed that it took that long, since I have almost always seen the cashier turn to the ice cream machine to fill the «ice cream only» orders immediately… something that did not happen right away in this case. Seriously? Ten minutes for ice cream?
My husband had asked me to bring two of the new wraps home… and after waiting for my ice cream order for a few minutes, I realized that if I wanted to get my husband’s food tonight and get my grandson home in time for bed, I should order my husband’s food. I placed his order at 7:11 PM and FINALLY at 7:26 PM it made it to the counter. I suppose I should have been happy with 15 minutes when I heard another customer say it had taken 20 minutes for him to get his COLD food.
My experience was obviously not an isolated incident. Whatever the problem is, it needs fixing and it needs it now. I will strongly urge my grandson to consider the Burger King across Lake Mary Blvd, which has their own play area, or even the Chik-​Fil-​A down the street. Simply put, the service at this restaurant is horrendous. It has been slow before but tonight was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I hadn’t set foot in a McDonalds in almost 10 years — but a late night and no other options forced me in. This has to be the nicest fast food place I’ve ever seen. Very clean, a lot less of the colorful plastic than I expected. Much better food options, but you can still do a lot of diet harm if you’re not careful. While I couldn’t bring myself to eat here often, this is a very nice McDonalds.
Drive-​in and dine-​in are open 24 hours.
