Quality Cleaners of Lake Mary

I have been using this dry cleaner since August 2014. On my last visit, they RUINED my cascading asymmetric Halston Heritage $ 600 silk dress from Neiman Marcus.
The silk has small snags in it all over, there is a stain on the upper back of the dress where my hair would normally cover, and they used a safety pin to pin my dress to the hanger!!! Safety pin holes in silk fabric do not go away! They should know better.
I contacted the location and they gave me the phone number to their main location. I called and was unable to reach him, so I left a message. He never called me back. However, the attendant on the phone requested that I return the dress to the Lake Mary store for the owner to view when he had time.
I never heard anything back from the cleaners after dropping off my dress. After three weeks, I stopped by to see what the outcome was. Nothing had been done. They only recleaned my dress and AGAIN they applied a safety pin to the front of my dress! I was beyond upset. I told the attendant of my dissatisfaction. He gave me the dress and recommended I call the owner.
When I called Mr. Patel, he was by no means apologetic. He did not care about the treatment of my dress. He only stated that taking care of the stain would put a hole in the dress. He never even mentioned how the stain got there in the first place. He did not care about the snags or the safety pin holes. When I asked to be compensated for the irreparable damage to the dress, he said he would not compensate me. I was in disbelief. I mentioned how I had been frequenting their business each week for the last six months. He said he would call me back. And guess what? He never did. I am thinking about approaching a small claims lawyer to discuss what can be done about the permanent damage to my dress.
I do not recommend this place. I will never go back again. They cannot be trusted to take care of anything of value.
The Lake Mary attendants were helpful and friendly. They are not responsible for the cleaning. They only collect and distribute garments. All items go to the main store in Altamonte so beware of the other locations as well. It’s not worth losing a dress over. This dress is no longer sold in stores or on Halston’s website. I only wore it once! What a shame.

Great place with a friendly staff. I take all my dry cleaning and uniforms to this location because I moved to Lake Mary, but this place is the same owner of Town & Country in Altamonte Springs/​Longwood. They will clean your comforters and return them the same day too… I just love them!

Not recommended for alterations.
I brought 2 pairs of jeans here to be hemmed and just picked them up. One pair’s hem is extremely crooked and the bottom is jagged and the other’s hem was completely ruined (the jeans had a fold and then an inch and half space between the bottom of the jeans and the hem line and were hemed in a dark blue originally, when I got them the line was right at the bottom and they were done in orange). The one pair is not fixable at all, the jeans no longer hang right and there isn’t enough material to correct the seam and the other one looks like it was cut crooked so when they are redone, they will end up even shorter, not to mention the fact that the inside seam was twisted around and then sewn wrong. I’m extremely sad that 2 pairs of jeans were completely ruined for 32 bucks.
