Samurai Sushi

This place is amazing! Love the sushi super fresh and service was fast and friendly. My man wasn’t a huge fan of sushi till we came here to celebrate Valentine Day. Love it!

I got take out from here while visiting Orlando. Pretty good and quick service. For appetizer I got spicy octopus salad. A little salty, but the spicyness made up for it and it was pretty good. THe roll is the Dr Troy roll. It includes cilantro, yellow tail, avocado and tuna w spicy sauce. Then there’s white fish, salmon and octopus sashimi. Then there’s wassabi tobiko sushi. Everything made with brown rice. I highly recommend this place!

This is a great little sushi place. Casual and super comfy atmosphere, love this place. Great local sushi place, awesome happy hour.

I have only ordered take out from here. So I can’t give an opinion on their service when you dine-​in. I can say that they quick when you order for pick up.
I always do the shrimp teriyaki bento box. I can’t complain it’s 8 – 9 $ lunch meal that includes fried rice, house salad, noodle salad, cucumber salad, an orange slice and miso soup. I change the miso for the clear soup. One of the best clear soups ever, by the way!
I have not tried anything else on their menu but I’ll stick to my usual order because I like it so much.

Heard this place was good and served the freshest sushi. Me and my husband came to try and ordered a miso soup, house salad and a variety of 6 sushi rolls. The salad was soo good and had the right amount of the dressing. The miso soup was also very tasty. The sushi overall was delicious and I could tell they do use very fresh ingredients. Some of the rolls were smaller than expected but other than that, we left full and happy.

Moving from NorCal to Orlando and searching for the perfect sushi spot was hard. Moving from Orlando to Lake Mary and starting that search over? Oh GOODNESS.
The boyfriend introduced me to this spot early on in our relationship. He swears by their eel sauce. Like, I like my eel sauce as much as the next person but he takes it to a whole other level. But just for this spot.
I normally get the BBQ Salmon Roll and the boyfriend gets The Mexican Bubble. I’ve ordered their Udon a few times as well. The Seafood Udon isn’t my favorite, only because the broth gets to be too fishy after awhile. But the Tempura Udon is really good.
Not something I would pick over a spot in NorCal if I had to but for all the places I’ve tried so far, this would be my go to spot. For now.
We normally get orders to go and they are incredibly prompt with to go orders. I think we were late by about 2 minutes and they called to notify us that our order was ready. And the one time we sat in to eat we were seated by the time they got to us at around 530pm.
Thank you Samurai, for making people like me who value their time feel like there are no worries when it comes to ordering sushi from here!
The only reason why I took off one star is because I have yet to find my PERFECT sushi spot in all of Central Florida. Not because Samurai did anything wrong or that there’s anything wrong with this establishment.

I have tried repeatedly to LIKE this place as it’s close to my job and my coworkers said it was good. However, today was the final straw, I’ll NEVER go back there.
Firstly, I’d like to say my server was good… today. No issue there, however, the food was served with a hair, like a disgusting pubic looking hair. As soon as he set it down, I called it out… he had it remade for me. I couldn’t shake the disgust so after politely trying to get over it, I just decided to box it up and leave. Paid my bill (in full I will add) and of course tipped accordingly. That was just today…
Other days, the servers pay no mind to a party of 1. Even though they’ll seat you at the booths, they obviously prioritize larger parties over the single parties. Not enough tip for their care, I suppose… at least that’s how I’ve been left feeling the last several times I’ve gone here. I’ve sat in the booth for 20 minutes on a slow day and have had servers just pass me by, not take an order or a drink… and other times have given my full order and not been given my drink until I had to remind them after my food was served.
Today is definitely the last time I will ever set foot in this restaurant. Sorry, I know people love this place but in my experience, it has been horrendous and I’ve truly tried to like it… Diners BEWARE!

Stopped in for lunch and tried the dynamite roll, the shrimp tempura roll, and the salmon avocado roll.
