We have used Natural Way for a few years. We signed up for pretty much all of their services including weed, mosquito and tree care. We cancelled because they were not treating all of the lawn but just the center and when I called customer service they had the installer call me who denied it even though I was watching him from the window! Yea, I work at home. Seconds later the installer’s manager calls… beyond rude. When I told him what I had seen and his attitude got snippy so I told him just cancel our services. He hung up! Yep. Perhaps the owner needs to do a bit of training all around. I will just figure out how to maintain my lawn on my own. Sure, its another job I really don’t have time for but I am tired of being ripped off by companies that really don’t do their jobs. BTW I was spending about $ 1,500.00 a year with these guys.

I too am writing to complain about Natural Way Lawn. Their program of showing up without explicit consent is a bad one. My finances changed and I was unable to afford their service. They didn’t call & I didn’t open any mail from them since I was no longer interested in their service. They did show up and without consent of any kind for this year did my lawn and billed me. They were very insistent on payment, settled for half but I felt that my payment was blackmail. I paid for a service I didn’t want and couldn’t afford. Their programed response starts«The lawn and tree care industry is very large» I agree with that part and advice that you use one of their competitors from the lawn care industry.

We used them for 1 year and did not want to continue. The next spring, they showed up without warning and we found their invoice in the door. They followed up with aeration but didn’t do the back yard because the latch stuck and they couldn’t open but billed us for the both front & back. Then we called to cancel which has begun months of back and forth. They refuse to adjust the billing or decrease any charges. They are not in business to provide good service. only to use«auto-renew» clauses buried in invoices to cheat people out of money. A decent company that relied on its reputation would not use such covert practices to generate revenue.

The absolute worst. Did a crappy job and will continue to fertilize(if that is what you call it) and hound you to pay for unauthorized service. Do not deal with his company. I’m in the process of lodging a complaint with the State Attny General.

This company was hired to eradicate weeds in our front lawn and to fertilize both the front and the back yards. Retreatment was necessary as it seemed more weeds came than went. Bottom line there is barely any grass in the front yard now but tons of weeds. At one point dry fertilizer was placed on a completely brown lawn. Oh, but it’s not their fault we don’t have a lawn but ours. We didn’t water enough was one comment. Ironically, the back yard looks fine — even with two dogs — and it didn’t get watered nearly as much as the front did. Just try and speak with a representative — a run around is what you’ll get. Customer service? Only when they want to sign you up! Hey, since I first posted this and a negative review on Facebook, General Manager, Jeff, did contact me. They are coming out next week to retreat weeds, following up with aeration and seeding — their expense. We have to follow up with a grub control treatment by mid-August. Jeff claims now it was grubs that killed our lawn. Happy that we finally were contacted and maybe a resolution is within sight. I will keep Unilocal informed.

Aggressive and will not take«no» for an answer. We decided to discontinue service the following year and they serviced the lawn anyway! They billed us and would not relent. Do not get tangled up with this company!

We’ve been using Natural Way for several years now, just to get the basic 3−4x a year treatment to keep the crabgrass and weeds out. We’ve been happy with the service and our yard looks great. They always come as scheduled and we simply renew the service every year and we’re good to go. No complaints here.

Two Natural Way employees came out today and took pictures of our lawn, without permission. When asked what they were doing, they said that there was a negative review on Unilocal.They came onto our property to take pictures without permission. Not only did they go in the front yard, but they were making their way to our back yard before we stopped them. They left and even had the nerve to come back a second time.
