Vote with your pocket book. They raised prices to $ 9.25 for a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. Extra for chips and drink. If you tip $ 15.00 for a sandwich… Slightly better than subway! Not anymore.

While Jial(also probably spelling wrong) was nice, the price and quality at this Big Town(Lake Oswego) was by far the worst of all the Big Towns I’ve ever been to. Bread not as fluffy, amount of meat far less, and the punch card program benefits are worse than everywhere else. I wont be eating here again with a Potbelly Subs right down the street.

We have been to many big town hero sandwich shops but this is by far the best we’ve ever experienced. The food comes fast and the people here are just unfailingly friendly. Jial(spelling wrong probably) is particularly nice each time we’ve come here. I don’t write many reviews but this place deserves one. It’s also clean and tidy.

$ 6.50 for an 8 inch turkey sandwich with more lettuce and cream cheese on it than turkey? I think not. Very grungy in there — the staff all looked very unclean(missing teeth too!) Some portions of the menu board are hand-written. The prices here are just way too high for what you get — I wanted chips and a drink, which would have been another $ 3.49 on top of $ 6.50. Where are Togos and Quiznos when you need them?! Their food is way better and while the price may not be much lower, you’re pretty much getting what you pay for, and not just in terms of food quality. I got my sandwich to go because I did not want to eat there.

Excellent freshly made sandwiches. Way better than Subway or Quizno’s but not quite as good as Jersey Mike’s. Friendly staff provides fast and conscientious service. They offer cool deals and discounts if you sign up for their text message service. Good food. Definitely recommended!

I’m a huge BTH fan and especially this location. BTH has the best sandwiches, soft and delicious bread and great options. This particualr BTH has excellent customer serivce… very friendly and nice. I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and have never had a bad experience. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because it’s annoying to be charged over a dollar to add avocado when I’ve removed other standard sandwhich ingredients like cheese and mayo. I think my basic turkey sanwhich that I always order costs close to $ 8. To me, that’s too expensive for a turkey sandwhich but I keep coming back because it’s my favorite spot. I highly recommend this place to others.

Best Big Town I’ve been to! Honestly, the girl who works here makes this place awesome. I’ve never seen an employee treat each customer with so much respect and friendliness. She has such a great personality!

This place has the best sub sandwiches around! Especially the turkey bacon avocado! The staff is ways helpful and friendly. Today a person eating next to me had the wrong sandwich made and she didn’t say anything to the employee. The employee realized she made a mistake and made a new sandwich to take to her. Now that’s customer service at its best!

I order a to-go sandwich at this Big Town about once a month, and I’ve had efficient, friendly service every time. The shop is clean, food quality is good(delicious bread!), and my order is always correct. The only negative for me is that the shop smells of Pine Sol… but it’s hard to fault a place for excessive cleanliness. It can get crowded during the noon hour – a lot of high school kids eat there. So best to go before or after the rush if your schedule permits. Either way though, the wait is never too long. They gladly take phone orders, so call ahead and have your sandwich ready if you’re in a rush.

I’ve worked in this area for close to 5 years and I’ve never had a problem with this place. If I didn’t pack a lunch and I’m in need of something quick, this is a go-to option for me. Service is quick and super friendly. They have a variety of sandwich options, bread, etc. Sometimes bigger isn’t always better, I like to get their mini sandwiches along the lines of 3 – 4 inches. I like their bread because it is soft and delicate. The ingredients are always fresh and I’ve never noticed a cleanliness issue. Prices could be a little lower, but I’m guessing they have to pay Lake Oswego rent, so I can’t fault them there. Not only are they A-OK, I like them much better than Subway.

I’m a frequent sub shop goer for lunch and tend to like Big Town Hero versus Subway. However, I have constantly noticed that this particular location never seems to wipe down their tables. I guess it doesn’t bother me enough to pick a different lunch location but a little table maintenance would go a long way. I like their bread(a little softer) more than most sub shops and would give the sandwiches 4 stars. Lack of cleanliness in the eating area bumps it down.

So they make good bread that’s a start! I ordered a turkey panini and asked for no bacon. The stoners working here also forgot to include a tomato and there was no ranch sauce that I noticed, the sandwich was empty, and unfortunately I’d already left the place. What is a sandwich without a tomato? Jimmy Johns is taking over sorry people!

Burnt bacon and tomato ends in my «MINI» BLT, and(including a medium beverage) an $ 8.00 bill to boot! I used to prefer Big Town Hero over Subway here in Lake Oswego where I work, because Big Town Hero’s sandwich quality seems a «little» better, and more carefully prepared. As noted above however, I have recently noticed that quality has gone more than a bit downhill, while prices seem more ridiculous than ever. The store itself does not seem very well loved… it always appears grimy, and the guys and gals prepping the sandwiches don’t wear gloves. I will give credit to the fact that the people who work here are generally polite and friendly. Being a franchise however, you’d think the owners would spiff up the place a bit… at least wipe the counters, and ensure that the sandwich prep folks appear more sanitary by wearing gloves…

Bad turkey, poor bread. I don’t even understand how non-subway sub shops can stay in business with such low quality meats, but they seem to. Is Sarah Lee honey turkey so hard to locate? And the wheat bread — I thought it was sick it was so pale. Blah. What more can I say about this place? Ok, this: for a sub shop it has a pretty limited menu. Sure they offer 4 ways to make a turkey sub, but it’s the same ingredients over and over(lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese) Also they commit the bacon sin: that is, they but bacon on a sandwich to improve the taste of low caliber ingredients, or poorly thought out sandwiches. In 2 seconds I put together a bacon-less sub that could have been good if only the meat/bread had been up to par.(avocado, cucumber, onion, turkey, horseradish mayo on wheat) On the plus side, it was cheap-ish $ 6.90 is a small price to pay to know taht I never have to eat there again.
