I ordered the casado con cerdo — a smoked pork tenderloin plate with beans, rice, and pickled carrots. It was outstanding. Meat had a great flavor. Both green and red sauce excellent. Staff was quick and friendly. I’ll go back for sure.

Whether you are a golfer or enjoying the recreational facilities across the road at Lusher Farms, it is nice to have this Costa Rican café in the neighborhood.
The original Lake Grove location is still in operation and I love the charm of that small red cottage. This second location is the café inside the Lake Oswego Public Golf Course. Located across from the Pro Shop, there is open seating inside with a large TV broadcasting sports, as well as outdoor patio seating when the weather is sunny.
The menu is substantially similar, although at this location they’ve added some standard American grill items (burgers, hot dogs and fries) to the standard menu of Costa Rican dishes. Unfortunately the on-​line menu (
) is practically unreadable, so hopefully they’ll fix that soon.
It makes sense to have the grill items and Kids Meals for the clientele they’ll have at this location. Since so many people are in this area attending sporting events at Lakeridge High School or Hazelia Field, they should know there is an easy alternative to snack shack dining.
